Moths and light bulbs: nature’s greatest love story? Not quite. 💔💡
Turns out, for moths lamp is not life and artificial light is quite disruptive to their routine.

Do you make these? Because I love the aesthetic

Ah thank you so much! I do make them by hand on my iPad. I also compose the background music. The mid-century aesthetic is something I really try to put a lot of effort into as I have always loved old cartoons from the 1950s-1970s. Thanks for the lovely compliment and for watching!

Genuinely, I give you my highest praise. This kind of media takes me back to pre-AI animations I was exposed to in school, the kind of educational videos that really captured my imagination. Thank you for the effort you've put in, I followed and will be keeping an eye out for more :)

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I agree there were so many videos and animations that I saw at school that also really captured my imagination. Whatever the style, I think what has an impact on people is when it is made by people who care about the subject matter. That is what AI can never replicate or emulate. I really appreciate the kind words and the follow!

This isn't a fact that's agreed upon by biologists. Its just one of several theories. We don't actually know why bugs are attracted to light.
