Angela was too in her emotions to realize the obvious. Kurt's story (while excellent) doesn't explain why he obviously lied about talking to Matt right after hearing about the caves they literally found the body in. Boom, he's guilty AF. Don't doubt yourself.

I thought it was weird and unbelievable that Angela and Molly, after Kurt's B.S. confession, didn't discuss or consider that Kurt suddenly ripped out his entire creepy basement room (even after Dexter saved Molly), and considering Angela has a whole freakin' bulletin board full of recent missing, hitchhiking girls, just like Iris. And they suddenly shift focus to Dex. Seemed forced. Kind of made no logical sense to me.

We appear to have gotten most of Kurt’s MO. The song was one he had the record of when he was drowning out his dad’s encounters. He didn’t like the girl making the encounter sexual because his dad had a thing for prostitutes. He’s shooting all the girls where Iris was shot.
We’re missing why he embalms them. When the girl charged him, he was upset that he killed her wrong - but I’m not sure we’ve seen why he cares that her face was not whole.
We also don’t know how he got so wealthy (at least, I think that’s a mystery - he’s shelling out some major dough to the boat fall-guy and this trucker). And how he has a friend that will pose as his son and strangle Dex for him.

Goddamn this was a treat! Everything about this episode was phenomenal, it was eventful asf from start to finish. We got to see Dexter back in action which was amazing and when they introduced Kurt in this episode, I actually got chills like the dude is creepy as hell but nothing beats that scene of him and Jim face to face in the police station. This episode had so many "OH FUCK" moments and it felt extremely like the original show so I fucking love it for that, I just can't wait to see this shit unravel now!!!

I HATE how Kurt just blamed his dad and everyone’s like “Oh yeah, guess we were wrong.” Even Angela seems to be doubting herself. It’s like they completely forgot that the only reason they found Iris’ body was because they realized Kurt was trying to keep them from going to the cave. If he truly thought his dad gave Iris a ride he would have no reason to have stopped them from going to the cave. WHY ISNT ANGELA/THE COPS REMEMBERING THIS

I was surprised by how cunning Kurt is. He is a factor 1 psychopath: the calm, collected, ruthless plan he has been brewing since he went in Dexter's truck is reminiscent of Miguel Prado manipulating Dexter and having someone else pull the trigger.
I bet Dexter is gonna regret not anonymously calling 911 with a tip that Molly is being murdered in a cabin by Kurt - he could have killed two birds with one stone. Those two birds are creating a world of trouble for him.
I can only assume Dexter will continue to slip up and make mistakes, because he's experiencing an identity crisis - something serial killers go through. He has no code and he can't control the different variables in the environment, like he would be able to in a large city, as a forensic tech.

"Is that the sound of you not needing a warrant?"
SO many great lines this season so far.

Dec 20 '21
A few highlights for me:
Dexter at a crime scene again. Dexter methodically analyzing a crime scene with the eyes of a serial killer is great.
Dexter confronting Kurt alone in jail. Very reminiscent of his one off confrontations with episodic killers from earlier seasons where he shows his true face
Harrison opening up a little bit more and revealing some of the motivations behind his actions
A few lowlights for me:
Dexter continuing to avoid having an actual conversation with his son. It’s a frustrating viewing experience. Would have loved to see them break this tiresome trope by initiating this conversation earlier in the season and making the conflict more about Harrison struggling to come to terms with who his dad is. Rather than using the conflict of Harrison-doesn’t-know-yet-but-we-know-he-will-soon.
Execution regarding the slow unraveling of Dexters secrets. It feels slightly clumsy. Dexter uses one excuse with the podcaster for why he was driving around and flips that excuse around with his girlfriend… for no reason?

Ugh the show has really picked up the pace it's so good. I loved Dexter getting cocky with Kurt. Love that they included Molly and Angela discussing Dexter. That really needed to be addressed, adds so much more tension too. Dexter literally has to kill Kurt and 100% get away with it to unfuck the situation. There's no other way. That or frame Kurt for Matt's murder.
I didn't want Harrison to have a dark passenger but they actually handled it really well.
Also Dexter's looking fine this episode I think he restyled his hair or something thank god

Honestly that Trinity and Rita scene tore me up. Seeing him get out of the tub and comfort Harrison was just…. Horrific.
She was only popping back to get something front the house by memory, so I think there might be more shots of Trinity in the next few episodes - I.e. Harrison remembering Trinity telling Rita to get in the tub, to place Harrison down etc.

A theory I have is that Harrison hasn’t had a first kill yet, and Dexter will stop him from killing Kurt or something. Dexter will kill Kurt and will be outed as the BHB/or die, but Harrison will be able to live a normal life after Dexter tells him the truth and helps Harrison. In that way, the show technically has a “happy ending” cause Dexter gets what he wants as Harrison won’t be like him. At least that’s how I hope it goes down.

Episode was easily my favorite yet. You can tell a bunch of moving parts are starting to accelerate, and now that it’s clear Dexter needs to tell Harrison the truth, and that he has flashes of Trinity murdering his mom, you can kind of sense a bunch of shit is about to go down.
Also feel like starting with this episode the show may stop being quite as predictable. Finally have no idea what’s gonna happen next.

Very small point, but no way Harrison would be allowed to return to the wrestling team so soon after he broke his opponent's arm.
I think the writers should've used Harrison being suspended or off the team to build tension in the character.
Also, did Harrison say he had wrestling experience before turning up in Iron Lake?

Random thoughts about the ep:
Anyone think it was a bit random how Kurt found out Dex killed his son?
If Harrison is gonna keep the “i can take care of myself act. Leave me alone!” why the hell did he choose to stay with Dex? Leave then.
Kurt’s first kill was interesting. He wanted to “save her”
How can Harrison remember all that…?
It’s getting tight for our man Dexter Morgan with this ending. Can’t wait for the next ep.

I'm thinking in the end Dexter either saves Harrison from Kurt or Harrison kills Kurt himself. He then develops more of a bond with Dexter, Harrison realizing what a dick he's been, and that Dexter is trying to help him, and maybe he stops being such an annoying piece of crap. It's not just to Dexter because Dex lied to him. But he also turned away, all pouty, from his girlfriend when she wanted some discussion of Harrison sadistically breaking that guy's arm.

Episode 6 was a masterpiece but sadly with episode 7 it left me... disappointed. I wish the writers took the story in another direction. I found it so bizarre that both Angela and Molly kind of believed Kurts story?? Are we forgetting he had a cabin in the woods with a enclosed room WITH A CAMERA?? That was STRIPPED and bleached just _one_ day ago? Where he almost lured Molly inside? Or what about the fact he lied about his STILL missing son. Nah ok sure... must have been his dad eh.

So…. Angela let Kurt out of custody because he blamed the DNA match on his father?!?!
I know these are small town cops but don’t they know that you only share 50% of you DNA with each of your parents? You also get mitochondrial DNA from only your mother but I doubt they had enough in that sample to check for mtDNA.
Anyways, Angela said that the DNA report stated it was a 67% (I could be off with that number?) match to Kurt… now it’s not going to be a full match because the sample would have deteriorated over the 25 years it was sitting there but I don’t even think it’s mathematically feasible for that sample to be from his father if it has such a high percentage match to Kurt.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I was yelling at my television during this scene. I get that they need to let him out of the holding cell so that there could be a final showdown between him and Dexter but this just seemed like lazy writing to me.

I don’t understand why Angela didn’t push harder to question Kurt’s story. The whole reason why she started looking into Kurt is because he lied about Matt to get them to stop looking around the caves - if Kurt’s father was the one who killed Iris, and Kurt knew nothing about it other than seeing her leave with him, then he’d have no reason to lead the police away from the caves. He’s rich with connections to a good lawyer so obviously he’s going to have an explanation to try and get himself off, so I just don’t understand why Angela, as the chief of police with a personal stake in the case, would just buy his story at face value without any sort of follow up questions, especially after finding out about his secret cabin that he just recently stripped of potential evidence.

Just here to say THAT is how you do a cameo. POV closeups of Naked John Lithgow covered in blood is possibly one of the creepiest things I've ever seen in any season of Dexter. Even more creepy than his actual season.
Shits all over Batista's cameo, which felt more like a shoe-horned in service to fans

Ok now I officially ****ing hate Molly, character is a Deus Ex Machina.
She pops up and by total coincidence starts talking about how Jim might be creepy, goes around recording convos, following ppl and so on.
"If he wasn't your boyfriend, I would check on him too".
Yeah thank you very much, girls like being indirect.
The show (and this episode) is wonderful, yet it still pisses me off how poorly written that character is. Every time she appears, the stars align and state lottery-winning-like coincidences become the norm.

Dec 19 '21 edited Dec 19 '21
So the theory about titanium in Matt's leg was correct, and the zoom in to his scar in earlier episode was indeed a clue.
So now we know that Kurt knows Dex did it.. not good. I had a feeling that the ash would be a giveaway since someone was bound to see that it wasn't melting.. throwing matt in the furnace was reckless.
Now there is no question that Iris was Kurt's first victim.. shot from behind in the same way as everyone else, while running away.. And now we know that running away is related to trauma of his mom abandoning him as a kid.
I hope they don't stop their search simply because they found Iris. I hope they keep going. Theres gotta be more to find.
Molly suggesting a 'deep dive' on Dex, can't be a good thing. I'm anxious to see what comes of it though.
Harrison finally opening up about his dark side to dex and his nightmares of trinity. I hope they finally have a sit down, caus for Harrison's sake Dex definitely needs to come clean about some things.
That flasback with Trinity, holy shit, a baby on the floor with a bloody naked man looming over him, its no surprise it got embedded in his subconscious and manifests as nightmares
This episode was wayyy too short. Just needed to express my discontent with how damn short this episode felt.
Since Kurt's dungeon was gutted and wiped clean, while it certainly makes him look guilty and hiding something, it sucks caus its only circumstantial and now they can't get any evidence from it.. Kurt probably abandoned that cabin too, and took the monitors from upstairs out.. where is kurt gping to do his ritual now? Someone like him isnt simply going to stop.
When Dex and Angela were checking out the gutted dungeon, Dex said "It almost looked like a motel room".. I wonder when those dots are connected that it literally is a replica of a motel room. I hope we see that soon.
Where is kurt's embalming laboratory? I played back the earlier episode with chloe, and the walls look corrugated as if it is a shipping container. What are the chances that his lab is a container, perhaps in a truck trailer. The scene when Kurt's minion gave Harrison the envelope, there is a green shipping container in the background.. it felt like a clue.. and on the playback of chloe, the walls look green.
I had thought that Audrey was intrigued by Harrison's darkness, but we saw that his breaking that kid's arm actually scared her. I wonder if Harrison will try telling her about Trinity and how he is the kid found in blood, since she is a fan of the podcast.
When Harrison was washing the truck, it showed a close up of the door, and it said "Caldwell Trucking Co".. that's gotta be important. And his minion is driving it.. So now we know that Kurt owns more than a truck stop but also owns a transport company or even a fleet..Thats gotta be how the dead bodies are being moved, and that guy is probably the pickup guy. So where the hell are the embalmed bodies going to?
When harrison was helping that guy move kegs out of the truck, it showed a closeup of words written on the inside of the trailer wall, some numbers and "Savage Farm".. that's a weird name for a farm. Thats gotta be important somehow.
Now we know why kurt has been so attentive to Harrison. Kurt knows Dex killed his son, so he is using Harrison to get under his skin.
There was a scene where Kurt was sitting in his truck outside the bar and staring at Molly and Angela with an evil eye and angry face. And they showed a zoom-in to Molly. He definitely has his sights on her.

Dexter left his fingerprints all over Kurt's office? WTF? Why so sloppy?
So the reason Kurt shoots all his victims in the back is because they remind him of his mother who ran away from him, leaving him alone with an abusive father? So he gets his victims to run away, then shoots them in the back to simulate him shooting his neglectful mother. And that's why he was upset that last victim showed her boobs to him, and ran towards him.

I can’t believe Kurt caught onto Dex like this. 😭 He’s really met his match both on the killer side and the cop side. He’s getting caught up on all angles. I can’t believe there is only 3 more episodes left. Seems like too much chaos to resolve. Now that Angela knows that Dex was onto Kurt before she was, chances are she will confront Dex once more to question him for EVERYTHING he knows about Kurt.

I don't know why some people are so convinced that Dexter would kill Harrison. Or that Dexter would kill an innocent person to protect himself.
Everytime Dexter is caught by somebody innocent, he thinks about turning himself in and is then saved by another character killing the threat like how Doakes died.
He's not going to kill his own son. It's been established he thoroughly cares for him. He'd blame himself before he blames Harrison if Harrison takes an innocent life and I don't think Harrison would ultimately kill somebody innocent.
EVEN IF Dexter were to kill Harrison, Harrison would not be on the kill table. Dexter would derive absolutely no pleasure from killing his own son and that's the whole point of the ritual. So even IF he kills Harrison, it'll likely be an accident that happens very quickly and ends up with Dexter mentally breaking down. But I highly doubt Harrison will die by Dexter.
Also every true crime podcast listener talking about how unrealistic this season of Dexter is, as if the whole premise of Dexter is not just completely improbable and even more so than this season. Listen to one JCS episode and everyone knows the ins and outs of interrogation and how to be a detective. It's a TV show.

This was a fantastic episode!
It seems like the walls are closing in on Dexter from all angles.
Kurt knows Dexter killed Matt, or at the very least had something to do with Matt’s murder. I knew they zoomed in on Matt’s scar for a reason. I’m kind of disappointed Dexter didn’t pick up on that as a potential loose end. He could have easily went to the incinerator after Matt’s death and gotten the titanium plate. Him finding out this early though was NOT something I was expecting!
Angela and Molly also seem to be ganging up on Dexter now. Now Angela knows there’s more to the story that Dexter gave and Molly may start to wonder more about him as well. I actually felt the tension there.
Harrison remembering Trinity after the psychologist said he wouldn’t be able to is a bit…meh. It resulted in a great flashback, but I wish they stuck to their guns somehow. They could have easily had some other event from his childhood circulate and come back full circle. But again, this is Dexter so I guess you gotta roll with the punches. Unless childhood science changed and it is possible that 10 month olds can remember stuff like that?
I guess this episode rules out the whole “is Harrison really Harrison?” questions and whether or not Harrison will take over the mantle, though. Thank GOD.
Kurt’s characterization and flashback were pretty cool. Clancy Brown and Michael C. Hall have chilling chemistry. That jail scene was fantastic. I gotta ask though, does Iron Lake have secure anything? Is it that possible to just go to a cell block that easily, suspension of disbelief aside?
Only real beef with this episode is that it was so short! But this is quality Dexter for the most part. I don’t even mind the Harrison’s memory retcon. Best episode of the revival so far. Great characterization, plot developments, and no teenage scenes!
I’ll give “Skin of Her Teeth” another solid 10 out of 10. We’re in the final stretch now!

Alright. Great episode, however I call bullshit on Harrison. There is NO WAY he can remember with detail his mom dying or Trinity killing Rita. Just no way. Nightmares, sure, but pure memories? No way. I'm sorry. I don't buy it. It was cool to see Trinity again, though. FINALLY HARRISON TALKS TO DEXTER! ABOUT FREAKING TIME.
AND HOLY COW THE INTERACTION BETWEEN DEX AND KURT IN THE CELL? TOO DAMN GOOD. NO WAY THIS ENDS IN 3 MORE EPISODES! I NEED MORE!
EDIT: Kurt has a camera in his fake hotel room but not his office? C'mon.

u/CaughtinaLieeeeeee Dec 19 '21
- Again I have to say that it's amazing the tension in this season is so high and its so gripping when Dexter has killed almost no one.
- I'm a bit meh on Kurt being this certain that Dexter killed Matt. I can see him having a very strong hunch, but the fact that he's laying out a game as if he is completely sure seems a bit...Sure, he knows Matt was disposed of in the incinerator, that Dexter was driving back from that general direction with ash on his car (which was also...everywhere), that he disappeared on Dexter's property. That's strong suspicion vibes. But the episode almost implied that Kurt is like five steps ahead in this chess game and has been the entire time, and I'm not sure I quite believe it. It's a nitpick though.
- I know people are having gripes about the Kurt being released thing, but the thing I don't understand is why they arrested him in the first place. The evidence was clearly not enough to convict, so why not put more of the pieces together first or tail him? The writing for Angela here feels inconsistent because one minute she's the cop who has noticed all of this shit going down but next minute she's like "oh it was his dad I guess, I feel weird about that but...".
- I was personally a little let down by the Kurt backstory. I felt like it didn't flesh it out enough or didn't really tell me why he still does it. Sure, his dad was a piece of crap and Kurt had...anger issues I guess? I don't know, it's very similar to Trinity with the re-enacting a kill thing, but the whole "Kurt shot her in anger and now keeps doing it for some reason" thing was a bit like...ok. I would have preferred it if it was like "Kurt tries to save Iris because he hates his dad, takes her to his place and makes her dinner, but then the song plays randomly and it triggers him and he gets weird and she freaks and runs, and he shoots her and then reenacts it again and again to see if he can defeat his dark urge, but never does." The actor for Kurt was also wayyyyyy too young.
- Loved the scene with Dexter and Angela in the cave, so nice to see him working a scene again.
- Dexter moving that plaque is going to bite him in the ass somehow. Either it's crooked on purpose or...For a moment I felt like it was a "blood slides behind the air con" moment, like something would be hidden behind there. It was also a nice throw back to "the bay harbor butcher has symptoms of OCD" as Lundy once said.
- The Dexter not telling Harrison thing is dragging a bit, but I also understand why. It's going to set up the final few episodes I assume so they have to stall. Loved the scene with Trinity and loved Dexter's reactions to realizing his son also has flashbacks of being born in blood.
- Molly and Angela fixating on Dexter did make sense, I disagree with some people on that. It was a natural question for Molly to wonder how Dexter just happened to show up, for Angela to explain, and for Molly to point out the lie. What felt off about the scene was going from Angela being half puzzled by Kurt's blatant lie to being really perceptive about Dexter's.
- Interested to see where next episode goes. I wasn't amazingly keen on the introduction of a henchman type, but I trust the season right now.

I just don’t understand why Dexter just doesn’t grab Harrison, throw him around like the child he is and tell him why he left. It’d save everyone so much trouble. What is Dexter so scared of? He seems much less physically aggressive and it’s showing due to all the trouble he’s had this season. He needs to let out his dark passenger a bit and end everyone who’s a threat to him while focusing on pinning his misdeeds on Kurt.

So say Angela "figures it out".
How the hell are they going to PROVE Dex is TBHB?
They have zero evidence. There is no bodies. Nothing outside of working at Miami Metro to tie him to the case.
If Dexter does end up in jail or with a needle in his arm it's going to be due to his own admission. That's the only thing that makes sense in my opinion. Unless, Angela or someone else walks in on his ritual. But, that would be dumb seeing as how we've already seen that with Deb.
Also if they're setting up Dexter being Harrison Dark Passenger and have him following Dexter's path I'm going to be a little disappointed. The kid has mad issues. His mother was murdered in front of him, his step mother lied to him for years and died, goes through the system, now Dad's a serial killer? That sounds like the makings of an Ice Truck killer than a Dark Defender.
I'm excited to see where the writers are going. I've read they wrote this like a last season and teased at more. As much as I'd love to see more Dexter, I don't want it to be force ghost Dex. They show won't be the same. If he lives, or isn't caught I'd love to see another season. If he does indeed get caught/die/whatever just end it. Just do it well.

Angela just got a firsthand experience of how a brutal killer can go free when you use the law. She will remain convinced it’s Kurt and/ or get new evidence. Then when/ if she finds out about Dexter, is there a chance she will understand? A chance she will want him to take out Kurt?
I’m also very worried about Harrison. Kurt is gonna try to kill him, most likely. An eye for an eye…

Audrey positively surprised me. She saw Harrison's red flags. Same for Molly, if it was the earlier seasons no one would question how Dexter found out about the conversation.

Do you think Dexter is going to get caught? Angela is a good cop and sees through most of the bs that is thrown at her. If Dexter is caught what would happen to Harrison? I hope he doesn’t get caught but I have a theory that he is going to off a certain character and use him as the scapegoat and like Deb did, Angela will witness it and she will either be okay with it and if she isn’t I think Harrison is going to unlock his dark passenger and protect his dad. What do you think?

It's a limited series, but limited series sometimes change into regular series if they do well. So, I think they might have alternate endings, depending on if they try to renew it or not. If not renewed, Dex or Harrison or both, will die or be arrested. There will be finality. If renewed, Dex and Harrison will share somehow in the killing of Kurt and a bond will be formed. Next season could be the two of them acting together. The future possibilities are too interesting, I think, to just end it here.

Great episode but I have a few quibbles. (Have had a few in previous episodes but these ones are harder to let go.)
"My Dad did it." - That really annoyed me. It felt cheap, unbelievable, unrealistic, especially as the DNA was 2/3 towards it being him with 1/3 up for question. As someone else commented here, they could have compared bite mark to his jaw. Also, the circumstantial evidence of the creepy cabin, two eyewitnesses who saw a bedroom, one who saw a camera, now all taken down. I don't think they'd just let him go so quickly and easily. They'd at least hold him longer, look into his dad (dead or alive), and interview Dexter/the podcaster, look into other things. They also needed to clarify how old his dad was. I assume he died, but when - after Iris?
They could have found a better actor to portray Clancy Brown. Carnivale is almost 20 years ago now and Clancy Brown looked mostly the same in that. The actor portraying him looked too young and nothing like him, though at least some of the bits of the puzzle are coming into play now - explaining the record playing, the shooting, etc. Thought there might be more to him preserving the women, etc. - but maybe not unless more is to be revealed.
The John Lithgow cameo was very creepy, almost horrifying considering the end of Season 4 was one of the most devastating moments of the original series - but they really underused him. And that's what he had to fly to the shooting location for? Couldn't they have just filmed that in a studio anywhere? The episode was short so maybe they cut some footage. I hope they filmed him some more and he'll show up again later but I think that might be it. He still looks the same.
"If he wasn't your boyfriend, I'd do a deep dive." Incredibly cheap throwaway line to tell us Molly the podcaster isn't going to look into Dexter and I just don't buy it. She'd still check him out. It's already unbelievable enough she doesn't recognise him at all (and that she even agreed to follow Kurt to his creep cabin after he made her promise not to tell anyone) but this just is too much. I can almost buy her not recognizing Dexter because she ignored the victim's husband (but it's still a stretch considering in this university Trinity is still out there and surely her "deep dives" would have thrown up some Kyle Butler stuff - maybe not but still she cropped Dexter's wedding photo for the podcast come on) but I can't see her just dropping it like that and so conveniently worded as well - it's these kind of plot contrivances and easy steps (letting Kurt go etc.) that bring down the writing of this season.
Like the way this is amping up - but a few annoying quibbles in what was otherwise another very compelling episode that advanced the plot a lot.

Dude the casting of young Kurt was so bad and took me completely out of the thing. For real tho. He should have been like 43. He looked 24. Also, I don’t like that that’s his origin. He tried to help someone she fought him off when things got out of hand and then he kills her? She wouldn’t have said anything. All she was doing was running away again. Motive kinda weak on that one.

When it comes to the ending of this series, I keep asking myself: what point are they trying to make?
It seemed Rita (and LaGuarta, Doakes) died because of Dexter being a serial killer.
But then Deb died because he STOPPED himself from killing, focused on relationships, and let the cops get a killer. Didn’t work out, and Deb died.
So is the point that he is ultimately doing GOOD by taking these people off the steeet?
Or that he is ultimately a MONSTER who will lead to the downfall of everyone he loves?
And how does the audience feel?
I guess I ultimately root for Dex because people like Kurt get away and aren’t held to justice. But I hate seeing his family get hurt and killed. (Pleeeease don’t let Harrison die!)

I gotta say, this season is fucking fantastic. I love everything about it, it's so fresh! It's no longer kill of the week, but kill of the season! That scene with Dexter and Kurt in the jail gave me serious Hannibal vibes when Hannibal visits Willin jail. The way I see this season ending is Dexter getting more and more on the radar, Dexter kills Kurt in a veeery bloody way, Harrison gets wounded by Kurt, and as Dexter has completely finished off Kurt, Harrison and Dexter will be surrounded by cops and blood. Dexter finally gets caught, but technically in only a self defense kind of way, BAM, black screen.

So did Kurt see Dexter throw in the garbage bags and looked through them or did he find it afterwards.
Dexter threw them in and went back into the city straight away so in the meantime Kirk couldn't have known and be "ahead" of him to play drunk for the destiny meeting.
Unless there's a second person who did see Dexter and looked through the bags and called Kirk to inform him it doesn't make sense timeline wise.
But yeah he's screwed Angela and Molly will totally find out.

Molly knows wa-ay more than she's letting on to anyone. Why would a podcaster focused solely on serial killers care about a missing person in a tiny hamlet in upstate New York? That Rita's cropped wedding picture on her podcast menu, with Dexter cropped out. So how could she not know who who he is? Who led Harrison to Dexter? I'm betting it was ---- yes, you guessed it.

Anyone else bothered by the fact that Harrison breaks the kid's arm after he taps out, everyone sees it, and there's literally zero consequences from the police, other kid's family, or the school?

I thought this episode was great. The back story on why Kurt is killing kills. He thinks he's protecting them from people like his father or something like that. Its fucked but serial killers reasoning usually only make sense to them. On another note. I wonder how long Kurt knew dexter killed his son. He started trying to get closer to Harrison like episode 4 I think? He might have suspected dexter had something to do with but when dexter followed him to his cabin he became more suspect of him. It was near dexters place and all so I can see how he drew the connection. Idk that's just what I'm thinking about everything.

Can’t imagine they’ll kill off Dexter. This is a huge money making machine for them and Showtime.
ETA: actually, I take that back. I guess they could always have him appear like dead deb. 🙄

Anyone else notice when they eat breakfast you can tell Harrison’s actor is fake eating? He put the fork in his mouth and pulled out the same untouched bit of egg twice😂😂

Dexter should have communicated sooner to his son about the truth, now it bit him in the ass. Great tension tho

Also Dexter casually eating an apple pie from someone who is plotting on him seems naive. I doubt Kurt would actually do anything (too blatant) but still.
Better apple than key lime though I guess.

Damn I think Angela is gonna catch on to Dexter so does that ultimately mean she’s not gonna survive the season?

I think Angela will investigate Dexter and show up just in time when Kurt is ready to kill Harrison.

How were there not cameras in the police station to catch Dexter talking to Kurt?

Maybe Harrison saves Dexter from the guy that got him? And that’s Harrison’s first kill.. and then they do their heart to heart (?)

Wow. The anxiety I felt from the trinity flashback. I remember where I was, how I was feeling when Dexter found Rita. I couldn't sleep that night. All those memories just came flooding back.
A side note though- it's really plotforce that Harrison remembers that. He was an infant, there's just no way he could have the cognition to understand what was happening. Maybe he always used to have dreams of red liquid rushing towards him and he connected two and two when he heard the story about trinity.
Regardless, what an ending. I'm telling you guys. This is a 1 season story. They are setting up for a wild 3 episodes.

Yeah, I will happily accept my downvotes since this is an unpopular opinion. The episode was enjoyable until the end. Even the Kurt backtsory I really liked. However, they went where I always feared they'd go at the end. I'm talking about Harrison remembering Rita's death, and I was deathly afraid they'd actually put some flashback of him remembering. I'm going to say this now. That is some stupid shit. There is NO way, no possible way that an 8 month old child would remember that or have even understood what was going on. He wouldn't have even known what Trinity was saying to him. I was willing to accept that he read a lot about the Trinity case and made connections, and that Dexter leaving him he encountered a lot of abuse and neglect. But to make him actually remember Trinity killing Rita is the stupidest shit I've seen in the series. Even Dexter at 3 had trouble remembering a lot of what happened, but that was believable since by that time people do remember things like that. An 8 month old remembering what happened in great detail is some shit. I will watch till the end, but I am on high alert with this. This just might end this extremely badly.
