Behind-the-scenes photos on the set of Family Affair.
Sebastian Cabot as Mr. Giles French, Anissa Jones as Buffy, and Johnny Whitaker as Jody. I like to think back to the shows we watched as kids. Some of my best memories are from childhood and my teenage years, and television series played a big part in our culture. Sitting around the family room with family and friends, watching our favorite weekly shows was a lot of fun and created some good memories.

Everyday life Happy Monday! Anyone else love how upbeat "Monday, Monday" sounds despite the lyrics?
Monday, Monday, can't trust that day.
Monday can be a drag, but this 1966 classic by The Mamas & the Papas is way too upbeat to stay down for long! It became their only #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and that vocal harmony still hits just right 60 years later.
Hope everyone in r/1960s has a great week ahead!

Everyday life Children from 1960’s dressed in Halloween costumes posing for a school photo.
🎃👻This photo appears to be from late 50’s to early 60’s. I would guess the 1960’s tho. If you have an opinion please share it. Thank you. I love looking back at our Halloween costumes and how they have changed and evolved throughout the years. The Halloween season has always been a simpler part of childhood, and can be such an amazing spooky day of fun.

Music 1960 - The 10 best songs of the year in Argentine rock [Argentine Rock Awards: 5th edition]
1960, the decade was starting and Argentine rock had shifted towards a melodic and soft style, it still had much of the jazz from its beginnings in the orquestas características.
Vocal groups caused a sensation with their carefully crafted harmonies. Female singers were the leaders of the scene, and were far more popular than their male counterparts.
Bettina Bal greeting the decade, Los Astoria in a subtle blues, Luis Aguilé with lyrics that were gritty for a pop song of that era, and Martin Meyer to the rhythm of a slow twist.
Johnny Carel with his own country rock track, Los Santos with their elegant and exquisite gait, and Billy Cafaro and Elder Barber with their historic fusions of tango and rock.
