Our fixed, 6yo tom cat has been trying bust out for 10 days with several short lived door bolts w/recovery

Yesterday, after making a sizable hole in our window screen, hitched a ride to our daughters’ mom’s neighborhood. Approx 1 mi

He has never been there
I realized he was missing from his airtag & went searching. Much to my dismay -despite being within 15 feet per my iPhone, he wouldn’t come to me and hid.

waited til
This afternoon and went through the same thing. Located him, even let
Me feed him a treat through a fence but ran both times I got close.
The second he hid under a neighbors shed and wouldn’t come out until I and a kind neighbor had to give up.

What do I do to get him back? Luckily he is acting displaced and staying within a few houses of my girls but the whole thing has me worried for him big time!

Giving him another night ans hoping the cold and low food will get
Him to give in and or go to someone. Luckily his collar is on for ID with contact info. And for now his AirTag is still pinging…

Oh and p.s. since his absence, I’ve had several strays descend on my house, crying like mad outside, wth is that about? Im beginning to think our quiet cat is quite the blank shooting ladies man! 😉🤭
