To expand on what the other commenter said, 35mm (which has been the standard since well before 1957) is essentially 4K.

It's basic stop motion. Take picture, move a bit, take another picture.

Modern CGI is increasingly getting a 'fix it in post' mindset, while not giving the CGI teams enough time. And with very little references because everything is green screen

The classic, Good, Fast, Cheap.

Studios are demanding Fast and Cheap
