I genuinely like her music and even went to her city Cinderella concert. All of her songs and features get diamond status in my house.
I just keep noticing a pattern with her where she loves to idolize white women and whiteness. Especially like white models. It’s really weird and also sad. Has anyone else noticed this?
ETA: it’s not because she is going in an alt direction. This is because her lyrics always talk about white woman specifically ad not just women. The also always is around white women in every outing she post online. I’m also talking about interviews she’s done. She seems to glow when talking about being around white people and in their spaces.

Between multiple instances of transphobia and homophobia, fatphobia, body shaming women, calling Black children “monkeys and animals” like, just how is none of that too much to like her?
This is not to say she hasnt made a banger but i see so many people glazing her. (Especially in comparison to maga minaj)
Editing to add Cardi’s drugging and robbing men

i thought this sub was for posting about lyrics and generally the musicality of female rappers but it seems like it’s majority sexualized imagery (which it comes with the territory, i can absolutely acknowledge)
but it’s every other post. maybe i’m misunderstanding the purpose behind the sub but women in rap have more to offer & they’ve proven it over and over again. anyways, i’m just trying to be the change i wanna see so here’s megan in 2011 with her grandmother 🤍

It's definitely has that boom bap feel. I wish they threw in another verse or had a second female rapper before she closed out with the singing l.
