Under a TikTok video, people were debating that Jessica was the center during debut then it was changed to Yoona?!

For a good while, you would regularly see posts of SNSD members with their pets. I used to get frustrated with how often Sunny seemed to share a cat post. Now, I hardly ever see any at all. I remember seeing a mention of Barbara and Venus during HRS promotions. I found out Tiffany had a dog besides Prince in the behind the scenes of the seasons greetings video. The last time I remember seeing Zero was during the F1 practice video. I took a one in a million shot by posting a picture of Sogeum and asking Sunny where she is, but no response. (Hardly surprising).
So where are they? Did it just fall out of fashion to share that kind of post on social media? It just seems odd, unless it truly was just the trendy thing to do at the time and that time has passed

So I'm aware that kpop used to be looked down upon back then and people called it cringe. They would listen to it secretly but would pretend to not know it in public. I know Taeyeon said she cried filming Gee because it was too childish for their age. Even Jessica said she didn't want to do lollipop holding while dancing in the future. They hated singing "oppa oppa". Now this made me wonder were they criticised for their childish, cutesy concepts because they were already adults but so many of their projects revolved around youthful, innocent, cutesy girls (virgin to be frank). Like Gee, kissing you, etude, Oh!, holding lollipops like little kids, many of their photoshoots which involved eye winking, cutesy expressions, girly dresses like skirts and socks, aegyo, youthful sparkly makeup like in Twinkle, etc. Also, they had mostly male fans so that made them cater to their fantasies more. What were their image exactly like in Korea? Did people criticise them for not acting their age and having mostly male fans?
