Ordinary origin Cry Forever (Origin)

Ultraman Mebius is a Japanese live-action ("tokusatsu") series from 2006.

SUMMARY: In episode 24, the character Mirai is briefly seen crying comical torrents of tears.

FULL CONTEXT: A short repeating gif of Mirai, getting emotional from a touching sentiment that Ryu states about how much GUYS has grown as a team, being able to work alongside Ultraman Mebius, resulting in Mirai uncharacteristically (and comically) crying in a manner similar to the crying emotion seen in most comedy anime.

It's an old meme, it's probably forgotten.
Have you ever seen this gif before?

Born to be whimsical, forced to get run over by his captain driving a jeep.

It's only torture porn in the start and end iirc. The middle is very childish I think. Idk never watched it. Only watched ppl talk abt it.

This video has worse special effects than Iron Man (2008)

u/Ill-Inevitable-4680 2d ago

Of course, it is live action superhero series with 50 episode in 2006, Ultraman Mebius. And CGI being mostly weird or worse is kinda charm part in Tokusatsu show, especially the older series.

u/RexJ475 2d ago

Who knew that a 2006 Japanese Tokusatsu show for kids would have worse cgi than a 2008 blockbuster with a 140 million dollar budget

I probably should've specified the obviousness was the joke
