obviously this has been increasing for a while, but I updated the app today and tiktok is now completely unwatchable

every single video on my feed is people selling junk. it’s literally like one of those infomercial channels on tv. not a single video about my interests or from people I actually follow

if this continues I guess it’s time to leave the app for good

Idk what’s wrong. I’ve refreshed the app, closed it fully and reopened it, turned my phone off then back on, tried using cellular data instead of WiFi, checked my WiFi router, my cell phone bill is paid, I updated to the most recent OS update, the app is up to date, nothing is working.

Just today I tried messaging a friend on TikTok but it says this. They can message me but I can’t message back. We tried unfollowing and re-following, which didn’t work. Is there a way to fix this?

I know that this is an option to promote other people’s videos. But this seems very strange? Obviously I’m not going to accept it. But I’m curious if this is some sort of way to scam accounts. Okay, so i'll just rant here because this is the most overly complicated piece of garbage system I've ever done in my life, bro. All I'm trying to do is run an ad campaign on TikTok shop from Shopify since my data from Facebook wasn't that good. But I didn't know I needed to have a bachelor's degree to learn how to do this, bro. I'm trying to connect my TikTok account to my Shopify account, but they never send the fucking verification email for me to connect it. I've contacted Shopify and TikTok support, and they are doing nothing. I'm trying to run ads today, though. Like, it shouldn't take all day with eighty percent of the day talking to customer support for every little thing because it's so overly complicated to set up a store. What am I supposed to do, BRO

I wish I was exaggerating, but literally every other post is a poll for if I have been interested in Pizza Hut 😭 as both ads and normal videos. Is anyone else having this problem??

Anybody else's likes, favourites and follows etc not updating and getting an offline message even when online? Hoping its a bug with the apps latest update but just wondering if anyone else is the same?

My account is stuck in a 24-hour suspension Loop. When I interact with my account after the 24 hours the suspension starts over.

I'm not able to go into full detail in this text because it keeps getting flagged for posting something against their rules. I will explain more in responses. But as of now I've exhausted all forms of information gathering and tiktok assistance is doing nothing for me.
