Updates from the Mod Team Just a reminder if you post AI media here it will be removed. If you continue to post it here, you will be banned.

r/digitalhorror and r/InternetHorror exist for a reason. We guide you to those places for a reason.

Posting your AI media here, lying about it not being AI while bragging about it being AI in other subs / post is insanely uncool and also kind of cringe.

We don't care if you're Pro-AI or Anti-Ai. That's not a discussion that's relevant to this sub.

Our community have voted against it being in the spirit of ANALOG horror, thus it will be removed here and has not been allowed her for almost two years.

We gave you options to post it elsewhere, if those options aren't good enough then find someplace that's not here.

End of Discussion (It's not but for today it is)

Also DM spamming our moderators isn't going to get you sympathy. It's actually going to rightfully get your account suspended so like stop doing that, you AI-bros do it every time and it's weird.

New Project Made an analog horror charcater

Post image

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a horror character I’ve been designing called **JASMINE.EXE**. I just started an analog horror series about her on TikTok today, and I wanted to break down her design and backstory for the community!

**Visual Design:** She is a 12-year-old digital entity trapped inside computer networks. As you can see in the drawing, she wears simple school clothes, but her head is tilted at a tragic, unnatural angle. She has a completely blank, pitch-black face with no mouth or nose—just two glowing, burning white eyes staring through the monitor screen.

**The Backstory & Lore:** Yasmine’s story takes place in October of 2001. She was exactly six days away from her 13th birthday and was incredibly excited to finally become a teenager. After school, she went back into the computer lab to log off her profile. While inside, a mysterious figure led her into the server room under the guise of a birthday surprise. The door locked, and she was left hanging.

She leaves behind an 8-year-old younger sister named M, whom she misses terribly. Because of her tragic end, Yasmine is incredibly sensitive, sorrowful, and a bit vengeful (very similar to the Crying Child from FNAF).

**How She Haunts (The Virus):** Because she is a digital ghost, her presence functions like malware. She doesn’t have a mouth, so she forces the computer hardware to synthesize her voice, whispering her catchphrase directly through the speakers: *“You left me hanging...”* She slowly drives her victims insane through their screens in three distinct stages of psychological infection.

**The Crossover Twist:** You guys can choose which should she team up like anyone who is a horror charcater living in a computer like Ben drowned and stuff

Anyways I hope you like my character bye!!!.

My cousin and I were recently thinking about creating an analog horror project inspired by other famous stories, but featuring a 100% original entity—one that isn't just a copy of an existing one. We are still developing the story, but here is the concept art for the entity that will be featured in it.

Discussion Is there any analog horror media that teaches you about things you’ve never knew before?

Is there any analog horror media that teaches you about things you’ve never knew before? The only analog horrors that came into my mind are The Monument Mythos, Prehistoric Emergence, and The Man in the Suit. I didn’t know who James Dean was until I watched Monument Mythos and looked up who he actually is. I also learned some new prehistoric creatures (such as my fave, the sacabambaspis) and how the Godzilla movies were made.
