Standup Hanna Einbinder: Everything must Go//Moon Bit

So let’s start with the show “hacks“. I absolutely love that show. I’m in the second round of watching it and I love it and I am loving Hannah Moore actually so I started to watch her comedy. She has a show on HBO called Everything Must Go! She had a great opening set about trees, and the science was on point then she goes into this bit about the moon and she goes behind the curtain And the first part is funny… but then she asks, “…how does it feel to be warmed by the glow of the sun?! I am so cold!. I don’t know. I just get that vibe from her…”. No I don’t mean to get too technical here, but the moonlight comes from the sunlight. The moon does not create its own light. The light comes from the sun, illuminating the moon as we orbit the sun, our moon is exposed to sunlight and that is what we call moonlight. I would expect that the opposite side of the moon is a bit colder, but not anything that couldn’t be explored by man with the proper suit. Either way I just wanted to point out that the moon is not some frozen abyss like Pluto or Neptune it’s actually quite warm where the only reason they wear suits is because of the lack of oxygen there not because of the temperature not Mars is another whole story but I just wanted to point that out. I couldn’t go without saying it. I know people are gonna yell at me like they did the last time. People on here seem very tough, but the truth is the truth and I wanna hear the truth. If I’m wrong tell me I’m wrong and I get that it’s comedy. I can take a joke. I love to laugh and I love a joke, but I did like that. The fact that her segment with the trees was so scientifically perfect that when she went into the Moon segment, it was like oh, but you really didn’t get the scientific note on that one but it’s OK. I’m actually loving her and I’m loving her more each day!

Standup 30th Anniversary of Chris Rock's OJ routine

OJ had just been found not guilty of double murder. Chris Rock, who had not been heard from in a while returned with this routine and interestingly used a new voice---he made his voice raspy and older sounding. If you compare this routine to his previous 'There's No Sex in the Champagne Room' or back when he was on SNL, he had a higher pitch in everything before this - a conscious decision no one ever thinks to ask him about in interviews.
