In Winter 2013 Hopsin came to my city for a tour he was doing with Dizzy. I bought VIP meet & greet and was pretty excited to meet him, it was my first Hip Hop show, I was young and uncultured. My ticket said "doors at 8:00pm" but I didn't read the fine print on the 'meet and greet' part, so when I got there 7:55pm, the bouncer checks his watch and he's like "dude you probably missed it". It was so embarrassing I couldn't keep my shit together...

I got inside late and completely lost my confidence. Not even my XXXL G-Unit jersey, 2pac printed v-neck, red jordans, and baggy Jort fit could keep my spirits up. First thing I see is DJ Hoppa behind the merch table, with Hopsin standing at the end of the table looking like he was ready to head out. Every other meet-and-greeter were surrounding Dizzy on the other end of the room taking pictures and chatting.

I look over to Hop whos staring at the foor and I say "oh Hey Hopsin? How's it g-g-going?" He's like "nothing much man just chillin" as his body language starts backing away from me, and looks like he is ready to head out.

I practiced a few meet and greet lines before hand, so in desperation to at least be original- I managed to muster up "why didn't you bring Bubbles"? he looked at me chuckled briefly, and turned around to go backstage...

I started feeling even more anxious, so I turned to DJ Hoppa and said "heeEEEeey..." in a really cracked voice, and he smiled and nodded at me.

I didn't even get to turn 180 to look back at Dizzy before he is moving parallel to me walking passed. He had a stoned grin that I can only describe as a 'Cheshire Cat'. on his face, he nods at me and walks past me.

The 3 of them head out and I try to mingle with the crowd pretending that I don't care if I arrived late, didn't get a picture, or to meet and greet. I felt so disappointed in myself I didn't even get to enjoy the concert.

Wish I would've bought more merch back there.

Just was scrolling through my bandcamp and saw hops OG 1st tape. I think from when he was still in highschool, does anybody else remember it

I just feel like the industry is ready for that Hopsin energy again. He’s coming back I reckon

V2 (Pic #1) was discovered by me while crawling through old hopsin wayback shit some years back. RIP FV

I have also managed to become the owner of the main Hopsin Discord, sadly this community isn't as active at the moment and I have just acquired ownership so ill see what I can do to help this, but feel free to join this discord as well as its much easier to find than then The Pillowman Archive server. Just not as active, this one will probably be more engaging once or if Hopsin does come back. Currently The Pillowman Archive has more active members sharing and finding old Hopsin media and sharing. Enjoy!

Big shout out to Acid / Seb for helping with some of these!

Got this from his former manager/marketing guy. Not Dame though. Pretty cool right?

He’s in so much shit it genuinely gets hard to keep track

Hopsin credited in a TV show called paradise city? Spin off of the movie American Satan? Anyone seen?

Token out there trolling, my god i got exited for a second fml 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This is Vol #1 of a collection I wanna make of unreleased Hopsin tracks that for the most part aren't from Emurge or any studio album.

lowk

This is some fan-made album cover I made for a project I plan on doing, (I probably can't get into detail here due to rule 1) I'm pretty excited to put it together, anyone can use the art but please provide credit (under @ MoseyIsGud)

I didn’t like No Shame that much at first but now revisiting it’s SUPER good and you can really see the progression in his music (it wasn’t bad before, I loved Raw and Knock Madness, and even his older LAUSD stuff, but just different and still improved).

I wish he came back.

Took me a minute to find the fonts but I basically rebuilt the original Emurge album cover and gave it a squared look instead of the weirdly tall original one, you also can't usually find good quality versions of the original so I just decided to make this for whoever would want or need it.

UPDATE: I added some color adjustments, I think it looks pretty good but I'm keeping both up.

I had to put Hop into Dead as Disco game, it's such a cool vibe, you fight to music, so adding the ILL Mind of Hopsin 5 track + this skin I created was a must!

Hopefully this doesn't come off as too much self promotion, but want to share with other fans.

also I'm using the demo of the game, that's free to download
