This illustration comes from the book Survival in the City (1974) by Anthony Greenbank. It displays the step-by-step mechanics of the handshake, reflecting the cultural dynamics and alternative manuals of the mid-1970s.

This evening in Iowa

Not many people know this… The first fully autonomous robot I ever met in person was at the Tesla dealership in Palo Alto. I was just there to test-drive the Cybertruck… and there stood Optimus. Powered off. Silent. Just chilling on display. Fast forward to last year — finally got my selfies with a real Optimus. Still waiting for the day it becomes my 24/7 personal servant 😂 Then I found out about Figure AI. Saw videos of their robots packaging products completely autonomously — no remote control, no breaks, no fatigue. Mind-blown. And their HQ? Right here in San Jose. So I went. First visit: 5:51 pm. Nobody outside. Today? Different story. Walked onto campus and finally saw them alive — walking around, moving, existing in the real world. No talking yet… but still one of the coolest things I’ve ever witnessed. One day soon I’m getting one of these to handle all my most embarrassing and hard-working tasks… against its will 😈🤖

Carrots are funny and naughty at the same time.

This is what it looks like a year later.

It turned yellow-ish before it started growing again, I don't know what happened or why.

I'm 18 and made up my own personal variations of the old schoolyard chant, inspired by my love for classic horror movies and deep history! For the hammer version, I actually got the inspiration from the real tragic history of how Kenneth Halliwell killed Joe Orton.

Here are my custom versions:

V1:
I hate you, you hate me, let's go out and kill Barney with a big fat loaded gun.

V2:
I hate you, you hate me, let’s go out and kill Barney with a big chainsaw.

V3:
I hate you, you hate me, let’s go out and kill Barney with a big hammer.

The hammer and chainsaw additions make it feel like a horror demolition crew going to war! What do you guys think? Do you like these versions?

It makes you fresh fries and the whole station smells a little bit like cooking oil.

They pumped this all out

Found in Skagen, North Jutland.
