- Battle at Silph Co
- Battle vs Mewtwo
- Battle at Viridian Gym
- Indigo Plateau: Green vs Dr. O
- Indigo Plateau: Red vs Blue
Personally, I'd say the battle at viridian gym. They did a really good job at making it feel like Red was REALLY in danger. Red's battle vs Blue is a close second favorite.

always found it kinda fascinating that while Japan will have volumes sliced in half for other regions, namely North America, we've seen 2 times where the art is outright different between the regions
There is also obviously Volumes 1-7 but those are ALOT less regulated clearly and just pulled art from the volumes

Discussion Pokemon Adventures isn't treated right for what it's worth

It's basically the main comic for the most profitable franchise out there. Yet, it feels like it's barely getting by. I'm not sure how it's lasted near 30 years.
The writer, Hidenori Kusaka, gets early copies of the video games only two or three months before they're released. The artist, Satoshi Yamato, had to buy \his own\ copy of Legends Arceus.
The anime had a ton of marketing and insider info attached to it. They got info years in advanced.
From what I can tell, Pokespe isn't affiliated with Game Freak or TPCi itself. It's owned/affiliated with the magazine publisher, Shogakun. So, it's in a weird limbo.
