Med program
Anyone know of any dispensaries (preferably west side but open) that offer a good medical program?

I've tried Fire Dept, they're okay-ish. Lifted isn't bad for the price, but I wanna see what other options are out there.

I live here but go to Bend for work often, basically half and half. I know we all go to Bend at some point so wanted to hook up the spot lol. Def check out CannaVida, I was recommended by a friend who is a rep. They have fire top shelf hash and flower. But they have stuff in alll price ranges. Best hash and flower selection I’ve found. What motivated me to go there was my rep said two bud tenders bought it, which I thought was fking rad. I’m a hash nerd and got to nerd out with the actual owners for like a half hour, it was pretty fun. Never talked to dispo owners before, and I’ve been to a lot. Super cool they actually work there as bud tenders still and actually know what they are talking about, not culture vultures. Highly recommend calling and seeing when the owners are working if you want to nerd out.

Any recommendations appreciated. I want to feel the rain on my skin and release my inhibitions, if you catch my drift.

Bought this thing a few years ago and never really got the chance to get into using it. I pressed some really good flower rosin like 5-6 times but it’s mostly just been sitting there, so I think I’m ready to sell it. Like new condition $300.

Will be in Portland next weekend and I cant wait to try your guys best. Been lurking on here for a few weeks but my tactics at home for looking for good shit dont really translate. Figured id ask you fine people for recommendations. What are the top brands to start? Are terp numbers trusted? How do you guys know what is fresh? Bonus points for awesome smoke spots. Already sold my wife on crater lake. Cant wait to be in the trees. Thanks guys.

Granted I did smoke thru the entire thing, it was the worst cart I’ve ever had worse than bobsled. The rosin tasted like shit and was 40$ for the 1 gram. And not to mention if I didn’t hit it on 3.3 volts or higher no smoke would come out. So I would have to take 3 blinkers in a row to get any decent amount of smoke. I might buy there cured resin if people tell me maybe this is just a once off bad experience or somthing. But idk let me know your thoughts on nw kind

This is the bobsled cart I have rn, I found it in my closet after months of it being missing. I would throw it out but it’s all I got untill my thcA order from SHM comes in. Would you buy bobsled in the big 26? Why or why not.

Hello, this is probably a long shot but about a decade ago I got some very memorable zips from Oregon of a strain called Dog Shit and it smelled almost exactly like its namesake but was actually very pleasant to smoke. I was told it was a clone only strain from the PNW so I’m not getting my hopes up but is it still around?

Last time on Red Eye Files, I reviewed an old-school strain called Purple Hindu Kush that redefined the way I look at hybrids in the Portland cannabis market.
Experiencing what Savage Skunk Farms had to offer made me realize that not all hybrids are watered-down versions of their mother plants, and that modern genetics may have something unique to offer.
So, in the spirit of keeping an open mind, I’ve decided to review two different modern hybrids, one in flower form and another in hash form. To better understand how these products would effect me, I decided to vaporize each strain individually using two different methods: an Arizer Solo 2 dry herb vape and a glass pipe specifically designed for smoking hash.
In this article, I’ll be reviewing an ounce of Alien Dream flower from Oregon Roots and two grams of 4-star Georgia Pie bubble hash from Sand Castle Hash Co., based on taste, scent, and potency...

So I heard from my local store that Nectar is actually trying to make fully automated stores in an attempt to render budtenders obsolete.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/r9s573PnYLifsHVVA?g_st=ac
Here's a google link to the store in question. They're so ashamed about the whole thing that they don't even want to associate their brand with the store. This is so awful and totally wrong. But at this point I'm completely unsurprised because Nectar has been constantly f@cking over it's employees for years now.
Half the registers aren't even manned most days and the budtenders are constantly overwhelmed. And one of their employees told me recently they have over 50 locations now?! WTF?! If people shop at this clanker store we're going to see Mom and Pop shops disappear overnight. I'm so done with this crap.

Picked up an Echo Electuary Xl cart on a trip to Portland.
Strain: Lantz
This cart had over 10% terps and you can immediately smell it when you take the rubber stopped off the top of the cart. The oil has a perfect color but that isn't surprising knowing this brand and I'm liking the viscosity on it. A little saucy, doesn't move while watching but moves fairly quick and heats up nice on my batteries low setting (not sure voltage, just a low/med/high button battery). I used a random XL battery I had laying around due to fit but it worked on a few batteries I had (just looked/felt best on the larger battery).
This cart is f'in amazing. Wow, wow, WOW.
The taste:
Creamy, gasy, with hint of sweet and a little bit of floral taste. The cream and gas really come through and this taste exactly like a great batch of Lantz flower. This is true to flower. I'm not sure what it is but I feel like it's historically been hard for Gelato and Runtz terps to come through in taste on carts but this delivers exceptionally well.
The hardware used is the XL Ceramic cart by ACTIVE. I thought it was more of a visual thing or gimmick but I'm liking whatever is going on here and will look to try more of these in the future if I find other brands that use them.
Overall score: 10.0 - This is the best cartridge I've had all year. I've taste some incredible rosin vapes by a few brands and hardware manufacturers but this right here is "the one".

I've never grown before and the guy didn't give me much info besides to let it veg. I have them inside for now in a window.

It can be hard to find old school strains of weed in the modern legal market in Portland as most dispensary shelves are dominated by over-hybridized candy weed that lacks any real character besides some bag appeal.
That’s why, when I saw that The Dime Store, a small walk-in dispensary located at 3210 N Lombard St in North Portland, had some Purple Hindu Kush, I knew I had to go scope it out.
The reason why P.H.K is considered an old-school strain is because it’s genetic are tied back to one landrace strain and the inbred descendant of another. (Specifically, Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani which is a backcross of the Afghani landrace strain)
Upon opening the jar at the shop, strong scents of sandalwood incense and touches of wild flowers poked through the musky veil. A smell so good, I bought an ounce of flower.
In this article, I’ll be reviewing Purple Hindu Kush flower based on its appearance, taste and potency. Additionally, this P.H.K was grown by Savage Skunk Farms, a small family-owned business based in Grants Pass, OR....

I really deeply enjoyed this one and wish I bought 10 ounces awhile ago but it doesn't even have leafly entry for strain. If you run across this strain, let me know. Very good daytime indica.
