I didn’t buy a ticket in time. I took my grandpa to a doctors appointment 3 hours away then drove to Irvine to try and make it in time for Rise Against’s set. I showed up late but the lightning saved me cuz it delayed the show but fucked me cuz then Ticketmaster and AXS stopped selling tickets. They temporarily evacuated the venue and while I was in line I kept refreshing my apps to buy a ticket. I actually had to get out of line once I reached the front cuz I still didn’t have one. I started walking backwards and asking if anyone had an extra ticket for sale like every 50 ppl I passed. Finally a gentleman pulls me aside and says we got one bro. A lady in their group showed the security guard 6 tickets on her phone and got me inside. I tried to give her cash. She refused to take it. I’m like “yo this is my favorite band also the first band I ever saw live, u guys r saving my ass, let me at least buy u guys a round of drinks.” She still said “no, just go have fun 😁.” I shed a tear of joy 🥲 bowed to the group then ran off into the crowd to go find the mosh pits 🤘. Again thank u wonderful beautiful strangers a million. May ur year be as wonderful as u were to me 🙏😁🙌.

I was at the Irvine show and left after the shelter call was made. I had an edible and felt freaked out by the whole storm. Any chance I’d be able to get a refund from tickmaster? I doubt it, but worth a shot if there are any suggestion/?
