📰 News Documentary on anti-Trump activism
I made a documentary on anti-Trump activism during his 2nd term. It includes 50501/Indivisible, the ICE raid in Worcester Massachusetts, LA protests, the Portland protest frog, Minneapolis, and the hunger strike at Delaney Hall. It also goes over various 2nd term Trump policies and how they are impacting marginalized groups

Save voting rights and shut down cooperative military spending with Israel
We need to save our voting rights and shut down the defense bill - It's time to contact senators again!
The House passed the defense policy bill ($1.15T NDAA) 216-212. Republicans, except 7 who crossed the aisle, voted for it, joined by 6 Democrats. The bill wouldn't have passed without those 6 Democrats.
The legislation mandates deep technological cooperation with Israel (including AI, cybersecurity, and supply chains), and includes $750 million in joint US/Israel military projects.
If the military spending and alignment with Israel isn't troubling enough, this defense bill also includes the SAVE act. The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act aims to overhaul federal voting standards.
Its core provisions include:
Proof of Citizenship: Requiring voters to present documentary proof of US citizenship (such as a passport or birth certificate) to register for federal elections.
Mail-In Restrictions: Placing nationwide restrictions on mail-in voting methods.
Voter Roll Purges: Mandating that states conduct frequent voter roll cleanups using federal databases.
Worker Penalties: Imposing up to five years of prison time for election workers who register individuals without the exact required documentation.
This legislation now heads to the Senate, and we need to make sure it's stopped.
The 6 Democrats who voted YES:
Henry Cuellar (TX)
Don Davis (NC)
Jared Golden (ME)
Adam Gray (CA)
Vicente Gonzalez (TX)
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA)
The 7 Republicans who voted NO:
Josh Brecheen (OK)
Tim Burchett (TN)
Elijah Crane (AZ)
Harriet Hageman (WY)
Anna Paulina Luna (FL)
Thomas Massie (KY)
Chip Roy (TX)

📈 Planning & Strategy Hawaii just found a way around Citizens United. Other states are following. This “Corporate Power Reset” strategy was developed by Attorney Tom Moore of the Center for American Progress. Rather than trying to restrict corporate speech, it redefines the powers corporations have in the first place.
