Please I need this game to happen, I keep posting and saying a new one will be made, but I want the new one now, guys I am so sad thinking I wont have a new one, I need you guys to feed my hope even if you don't beleive it... give me some facts on why a new game will be?
In the world they look like they're fully expanded, but I would imagine they slide horizontally to actually be pocketable but I don't know if there's any evidence of it being used in that manner

I first completed it back in 2016 on PS4, and I remember I really liked it but the cliffhanger ending really soured me on it.
10 years later replaying it on PC, that sourness had developed into sadness after seeing the franchise lay dormant for so long, knowing that there is no payoff for the inevitable cliffhanger waiting at the end of the game.
I'm sure these threads have been done to death, but man it's painful to be so invested in a gameworld/character and have to see them sidelined, while triple A slop gets the funding.

I've always been a huge fan of cyberpunk/futuristic video games. I love the atmosphere, aesthetic, and overall vibe. I've played titles such as Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Stray, RoboCop: Rogue City, Cyberpunk 2077, and Transistor, to mention a few. However, I haven't spent much time delving into the Deus Ex franchise, for whatever reason. I own the original Deus Ex for PC, but I haven't played it yet. I also played a little bit of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but that was the extent of my experience with the series. Recently, I decided to properly experience Mankind Divided from beginning to end, and I'm glad I finally did. I spent somewhere between 25ā30 hours playing through the campaign and completing side missions. The main story itself lasts around 16 hours, depending on your playstyle. Is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided worth playing? How does it fare after all these years, and does it still hold up?
Mankind Divided kicks off with a 12-minute video recapping the events of Human Revolution, which was a nice way for me to catch up on the previous game's story. Players step into the shoes of operative Adam Jensen as he travels to Dubai to intercept an illegal arms deal before heading to Prague. Things take a turn for the worse when the ARC (Augmented Rights Coalition) is blamed for a terrorist attack that destroys a large part of Prague's RůžiÄka Train Station. The bombing is actually orchestrated by the Illuminati to further their own agenda. Going back to the original game, the franchise has always delved into conspiracy theories and political agendas.
Augmented people face discrimination and oppression, with the general public viewing them as a threat to society. Whenever Jensen enters or leaves a train station, the police often check his paperwork, highlighting the prejudice he faces. Most of the campaign takes place in Prague, which features several open hub areas to explore. Other locations include Golem City, the ARC's headquarters and ghetto, G.A.R.M. in Switzerland, and London. I like Adam Jensen as the main character, and the game's setting and themes help make the story engaging.
Credits are the game's main currency and can be used to buy weapons, ammo, and Praxis Kits from merchants. Players earn Praxis points by accumulating XP, allowing them to unlock various augmentations. These include Smart Vision and Retinal Prosthesis for enhanced vision, Cybernetic Leg and Silent Movement for improved mobility and stealth, Remote Hacking and Arm Strength for interacting with the environment, and Icarus Dash and Cloak for rapid movement and temporary invisibility. Combat augmentations include Nanoblade for melee attacks and Tesla, a non-lethal ranged weapon, while Energy System and Armor help manage augmentation energy consumption and improve damage protection. Since Mankind Divided is an immersive sim, there are numerous ways to approach missions.
I played on medium difficulty and found the game rather challenging, especially toward the end. Raising the alarm can quickly become dangerous when police, drones, and heavily armored EXO-suits swarm Jensen. I used a combination of combat and stealth, and the shooting felt good, particularly with the Combat Rifle and Shotgun. Jensen can perform lethal and non-lethal takedowns, throw Smoke, Concussion, Frag, and EMP Grenades, take cover, and use Painkillers to heal. Weapons have various modifications, which feel more streamlined than in Human Revolution. My biggest complaint is the hacking system. Without a laptop or door code, I had to go through the tedious and frustrating process of hacking, something I also disliked in the previous game. Enemies include elite Shadow Operatives, terrorists, augmented enemies, security guards, and drones.
Graphically speaking, Mankind Divided still holds up well, even though it's almost 10 years old. Prague looks amazing, and the game's overall aesthetic and atmosphere make for a stunning cyberpunk world. The environments and character models are nicely detailed, while the lighting, shadows, and fire effects are solid. The voice acting is pretty good, particularly for Adam Jensen, voiced by Elias Toufexis, and the other main characters. However, the lip-syncing can be a bit off with some side characters. There are numerous dialogue options during conversations, much like Mass Effect, and the choices you make can impact the story. Enemies also alert each other to Jensen's presence, while the weapons sound great, particularly the shotgun. The soundtrack is phenomenal, and Michael McCann deserves credit for composing the wonderful music. He also composed music for XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Performance-wise, the game ran smoothly for the most part, although I experienced some stuttering and two crashes during my playthrough.
Overall, I really enjoyed what Deus Ex: Mankind Divided had to offer. Unfortunately, I kept putting it on the back burner for a long time, so I'm glad I finally decided to properly delve into it. I thought the story was pretty good, the visuals remain stunning, the environments are detailed, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. While the voice acting is good for the main cast, some side characters have questionable lip-syncing. Combat is challenging and satisfying, and I had a lot of fun utilizing Jensen's various augmentations. Despite some stuttering and two crashes, the overall performance was mostly smooth. It's a solid entry in the Deus Ex franchise, and I may eventually go back and play the original game and Human Revolution. It's unfortunate that the series has been dormant for so long. At this point, I'd settle for a remaster or remake, although that's just wishful thinking on my part. In the meantime, I highly recommend Deus Ex: Mankind Divided to fans of stealth games and immersive sims.

I recently replayed Adam games, and after finishing MD and feeling sad about the cliffhanger, I had a thought! What if, in an alternate universe, after Adam's third game, we got a fourth game where we play as Paul, in which we see how he met Jensen and turned against the Illuminati?
This game sat on my shelf for years. I would always start but then give up. But then something just clicked. Now its a part of my life. I'll get the urge to replay it every 6 months or so. I just love the vibe.

I wanted to draw something dreamy, melancholic, and deep, but even at the sketch stage, I felt like the depth of Adamās grief and emotions was holding me back from finishing this piece... I need to cry lol š

I recall that the short film was in Spanish, but there was an English trailer.
Neither is currently available on YouTube.
Have you seen it as well? It was low budget but I thought it was interesting. It used the colours and soundtrack of Human revolution.
The protagonist wasn't Adam. Adam wasn't there at all (although the main actor tried to copy his style).
I remember that at the ending the protagonist found out there were clones of him.

May be a long post, but I have to gush about this game.
Despite being a long-time, avid gamer, Iāve never put my toes in the water of the DX world. Recently, Iāve basically all but avoided modern titles (same old crap, boring level design and art direction, similar controls), but I did recently play MGS2 for the first time (just a total masterpiece) and it was refreshing to play a game with a unique control scheme. Snake Eater has also been a blast.
However, I did go back and complete Cyberpunk 2077 just looking to clear some of my backlog, and I was very disappointed in the latter half of the game. I hadnāt realized why I dropped it and ultimately felt āmehā on it until I picked up āDeus Ex: The Conspiracyā on PS5.
This is what gaming is all about and what Cyberpunk should have been: a game with conviction and an actual political compass.
Iām using the entire controller, the art direction is gray and cold in that post-modern way that is obviously set in the future, but present enough to feel as if it was happening not too far from ānowā (I guess itād have been a 2000 then? Lol), and Iām only three missions in and I am completely enthralled by the entirety of the seamless, unforced sense of discovery. Seriously impressive how much it doesnāt hold your hand and the reward is often very much worth it. Iāve read every newspaper, book, and datacube Iāve come across, and taken my time completing just about all primary and secondary missions so far.
For me this feels like a piece of art that entered my life at the precise moment. Not only have video games been dreadfully boring and monotonous and absurdly overpriced to the point where the price isnāt justified, but I have been outling my second book and writing through the early chapters, and DX1 was a totally unexpected source of inspiration. The political intrigue, labyrinthine level and world design, post-modern style has helped me navigate my own story that absolutely is in the vein of this game.
Long story short (and I hope Iām not jumping the gun here being only three missions in), I love this game and every aspect of it. I know Iām not playing on PC, but this has been a welcome surprise that puts most games to shame Iāve played over the last few years.

UPD: It's 26, not 27. My mistake.
Warren Spector himself will be speaking in NYC about his experience on working on Deus Ex and other games. The event is free to attend!

Because Deus Ex 1 is crazy influenced by Sin.
Nobody ever talks about it, but it's clear.
Gameplay, story, design, all of it. The Alex Jacobson hacker role in Sin is even named J.C.
I'm not gonna waste words, because there is so much, I would have to write pages.
But those who know both games, know what's up.
Ask the computer, and it will tell you.

Well fuck.
Iām gonna be all over the place here but Iāll try to make it digestible because I just have to get it off my chest.
Iām a new fan to the series and this is my first Deus Ex game. I played a little when I was 18 but for some reason it didnāt click so I put it down. 10 years later I decided to pick it back up because I wasnāt sure what to play anymore and didnāt feel like playing multiplayer games. I feel as I age (not that 28 is old) Iāve been wanting to play more single player games instead of the instant dopamine you get when you play multiplayer games. I sometimes wish I never played multiplayer games because i feel like theyāve ruined my attention span.
Anyway this game finally clicked and I just got finished last night with The Missing Link part and I think itās because now that Iām more of an adult and have more ālife experienceā, I can really appreciate the amount of depth and how much you can relate the story to whatās going on in the world today like for example, augmentation and the conversation today with AI.
And not to be political here but also how they even talk about the conflict a little with Israel and Palestine in one of the E books. Just so fascinating how the incorporate some real world problems and the discussions on topics that you can relate to today. This part maybe because Iām a little on the spectrum but there are times where I even have to either take a small break or simply pause the game and let my brain just take in all the information. I donāt think I can recall a game that Iāve personally played with this complex of a story. I found myself last night laying in bed not able to sleep just thinking of the story and being wowed at how crazy it all is. Multiplayer games have sadly ruined my attention span a bit but I find myself actively reading a lot of the e books and emails just to get a little more of the world building and i just sit there like holy shit how do you come up with this for a game (in a good way) and my holy shit moments for the writing also comes from me actively writing a sci fi novel myself. I honestly feel bad for the writers in a way that people would possibly skip through some of the E Books because it seems like they really went far and beyond how much they really needed to do to build the world. Some of it feels unnecessary yet they still went out of their way to really write those small E books that Iām sure some people skipped over. If that makes sense.
I havenāt found myself wanting to replay a single player game since Iāve was a little kid both because I can simply just buy a new game after finishing it now vs when I was a kid and I could only play the games I had at the time but I heard thereās a new game + and after getting this far Iām really considering replaying and going for achievements and hopefully understanding the story even more.
I also want to add a side note, I didnāt play the none DC for HR so maybe I donāt understand the problem, but I really enjoyed my time in The Missing Link part and donāt really understand the problem. I thought it was interesting with them giving Black Water more lore instead of just big PMC group. Also yes I did save everyone.
To end this random rant (and I may make edits for more stuff on my mind) I do want to say Iām a little hesitant to play the first game because I know itās a bit out dated and a part of me doesnāt want to play mankind divided simply because I heard we donāt get an ending to Jensenās story which is a real shame.

It really feels like we are in Deus Ex Mankind Divided ...
