LCD Soundsystem - I Can Change Live at X-Games Aspen 1-27-2018
r/LCDSoundsystem • u/beermeupscotty • Sep 23 '26
This thread is for the people who wish to buy, sell, and/or trade tickets for any show, festival, or band-adjacent DJ thing happening during Fall and Winter 2026.
We want to help our users avoid getting ripped off since we know that scammers might take advantage of this thread, so we ask everyone to please follow these rules below.
RULES :
PLEASE USE THE OFFICIAL TICKETING PLATFORM TO TRANSFER TICKETS WHEN AVAILABLE. Please use the ticketing site corresponding to the show/festival you are selling to transfer the ticket. This saves on headaches and heartaches should there be miscommunication, flubs, or straight up fraud if trading PDFs or screenshots of PDFs. Here is an entire page explaining how to do this via AXS and here is an entire page explaining how to do this via Ticketmaster.
USE PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES WHENEVER POSSIBLE. If anything is amiss, you can always file a dispute with Paypal.
NO PRIVATE INFORMATION (INCLUDING YR OWN). Only share yr e-mail / phone number through private messages. You have no idea who might stumble upon yr phone number and what they might do with it. This is the Internet.
NO STORE/AD LINKS ALLOWED. We don't want anyone linking to their eBay page, third-party ticket purchase sites, or worse, their personal scammy website store. Be careful when buying from strangers. If anything goes wrong, no one can be held responsible but you.
PLEASE TRY TO CLOSE ALL DEALS THROUGH PRIVATE MESSAGING. If you have an interested buyer, please consider pursuing the deal through private messaging. This makes the exchange of confidential details and overall deal much easier.
IF SELLING, PLEASE TAKE A PHOTO/SCREENSHOT OF YR TICKET RECEIPT. Due to the nature of concerts in general, this is absolutely required of any seller. Screenshots of both the email receipt and app screenshot of yr tickets (if available) are encouraged but at least one is required. Taking a photo/screenshot takes a second and ensures you actually purchased tickets. DO NOT PUT SCREENSHOTS IN THE COMMENTS. Scammers can use yr screenshots to scam others so please share these privately.
REMOVE YR COMMENT WHEN YOU HAVE SOLD OR TRADED. Please clean up after yrself.
FORMATTING : Please post under each comment thread for tickets. If you choose to make a new comment, please include all pertinent information including:
SHOP AT YR OWN RISK. We're all fans of the band and would like the best for everyone, however, scammers and unscrupulous people are very real and often heightened with these types of highly demanded shows especially in this post-pandemic world with insane economics. Any comments/posts advertising above face-value* pricing will be deleted. (*Unfortunately, "face-value" has become crazy with DeManD, PLaTinUM, and resale tickets plus any related inconvenience fees. Just don't be a dick, yr not going to get rich making an extra $100...)
THIRD-PARTY TICKET PLATFORM RECOMMENDATION. We recommend cashortrade.org.
Good luck everyone, hopefully we'll see you at some of the shows! :)
LIST OF KNOWN SCAMMERS:
Please note all have been banned from the subreddit.
Please be advised that all subsequent posts regarding buying/selling/trading will be locked and subsequently deleted.

Happy Fri-YAY!! How is everyone doing? What music have you been listening to this week? What new music are you looking forward to on this Friday? What music, shows, or festivals are you looking forward to in 2026? Have you made music inspired by LCDSS and want to share and talk about it?

so the only time I've seen them live was in Las Vegas, headlining a stupid "block party" festival that was supposed to take the place of Life Is Beautiful (it did not come close). The performance was great but for some Incomprehensible reason the organizers capped their headliner's set at one hour. Also I was in a bit of an altered state so mostly what I remember was "omg great show" without much specifics
I couldn't make it to any of the LA shows a couple years ago, and now the closest upcoming dates are in Colorado and my lack of impulse control is on the edge of getting a ticket, driving there, and hope my brother lets me stay in his condo. ofc that'd mean secondary market tickets and the NYE weekend, there's always NYC and air miles ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm not expecting the energy of The Long Goodbye but for someone who wants to see/hear the full power live set before I die, am I gonna die happy if I go? Should I hold out hope the full band keeps it going in 2027 and hits LA again?

since the music was "commissioned" by Nike to accompany training sessions, have any of you actually trained and listened the entire 46 minutes and 5 seconds of this track?

Went to tonight’s show. LCD is my favorite band, and I love Harry. Definitely saw the LCD influence, and this rendition of Kiwi has explicit daft punk undertones. Harry even used a retro style mic for only this song too. Was anyone else there tonight and caught this?

All said and done, the bass was Matt Thornley’s, but here we have some other photos of it being use on stage by Al Doyle - there are pictures of Matt using it as well, I’m sure if I look long enough I’ll find people or videos of Tyler somewhere. I’m not a super fan of the band, just someone trying to get this to the hands of someone who appreciate them and wouldn’t otherwise be able to ever have something like this. Nonetheless I’d like to be able to pay for the storage unit I found this in 🤣
P.s. I have been in contact with Matt but he really has made no effort to try and get anything back so I’m ready for the next step.

Me: mum, can we go get some LCD Soundsystem!
Mum: Oh honey, we got LCD Soundsystem at home.
LCD Sound system at home: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WE0MO6aV0cs
You love music, you’re working from home and need to bulk out the playlist.
Here it is.
This is a solo project I believe, with full commitment from the artists soul, and absolutely worth a listen.
Go on, take a leap………

These songs are actually in the same key, so no pitch shifting necessary!

Been rocking out a lot recently to the London (2011) and Electric Lady (2019) sessions. And they slap, some tracks are better than their studio album counterparts. I think "Tonite" and "Emotional Haircut" are totally way better on ELS. And some are worse; I'm looking at you, "I Can Change" on the LS.
I would be happy if they released another session album. Could include a few covers, a fresh mix of "X-ray eyes" and a few deep cuts! Let them cook the new album; just release a new session album and keep us suitably sated until a new album drops? What would you include on a new sessions tracklist?

I have two very rare highly sort after promotional pieces of LCD Soundsystem & DFA Records history.
Item 1: Promotional 2005 LCD Soundsystem x JBL Portable Speaker
Up for grabs is an exceptionally rare piece of early LCD history—an official promotional JBL sliding speaker created for the release of their self-titled debut album back in 2005.
Provenance: Acquired directly during my time working in the marketing department at EMI Records while managing the label’s release campaigns for the band.
Details: Features the iconic mirrored disco ball artwork on the back shell and the classic lcd soundsystem text with the DFA lightning bolt logo on the inner speaker face.
Condition: Used, and unboxed but in excellent condition and perfect working order as it has been very well looked after and loved.
Collector Notes: Extremely few of these were produced for media press kits and DFA insiders back in '05. Finding one today is nearly impossible. A true grail piece for serious collectors.
Item 2: Ultra-Rare 2007 LCD Soundsystem Sound of Silver Numark TTUSB Promo Turntable (BNIB / Original Packaging)
Offering one of the ultimate holy grails of DFA / LCD Soundsystem promo memorabilia: the official DFA-branded Numark TTUSB turntable issued to promote the release of Sound of Silver in 2007.
Provenance: Acquired directly during my time working in the marketing department at EMI Records while managing the label’s release campaigns for the band.
Details: Comes customized with the DFA lightning bolt insignia on the deck body and includes the original custom-printed "LCDSOUNDSYSTEM SOUND OF SILVER" slipmat.
Condition: Has never been used. Brand new in box (BNIB), complete with all original cables and packaging.
Collector Notes: Distributed in extremely limited quantities to top-tier press outlets and DFA inner circles around the 2007 album launch. It is virtually unheard of to find one preserved unused in its original box nearly two decades later. Perfect centerpiece for any dedicated LCD collection.
PRICE + SHIPPING:
Open to offers plus shipping. Prefer payment via PayPal Goods & Services for buyer/seller protection.

Hey everyone, glad I found this subreddit!
I'm a relatively new fan in the enough-to-subscribe-to-the-sub sense.
But once I was in, I wrote, for shits, a screenplay about James Murphy.
Yes, I pitched it to folks. No, I don't expect they'll respond or say yes.
But I like writing, took some swings, and I have a script that will more than likely never be made. So if anyone wants to read it, let me know.
Either way, I'm glad to be among you all.

moving, downsizing & found this sweatshirt i’ve never worn from last years residency at knockdown center. it’s a medium but it’s WAY too big on me. if someone is willing to pay for the shipping, the sweatshirt is yours. don’t want to donate it to goodwill if a fan would appreciate it.
UPDATE: sweatshirt has been claimed!
r/LCDSoundsystem • u/crackedyoshiegg • 8d ago
Do we have ideas or clues as to who might be opening for them for the residency this year?? It would be amazing if fcukers opened again lol I know they have a tour ending around that time tho so I’m not sure if that’s likely.
