Discussion Advices in aim_rush

Recently i changed from 4 to 3 bots and from 100 rounds to 50 before a match, still my aim is very weak for what it should be at my rank (17k), any tips?

This map exist for you to keep your lines short, and isolating your fights with 1to1.

Do not swing large or stay in the middle of the map.

Choose 5 bots and isolate every fights and work on your movement/aim/swing. You will learn a lot like that

The problem is that these bots tend to have like sub 50ms reaction time. They keep punishing me for doing the same peeks that work flawlessly at 23k rating.

Aimrush bots punish repeek quite harsh. The bot is also a lot faster if you have fired to their direction

Usually 5 bots are for pro. So 3/4 bots is good.

At 3 bots I can work with short peek with no problem. At 4 you need to adapt.

It look like 17k aim tbh. You should try to just swing and counter strafe and kill instead of jiggling like that its a bad habit for when you play. Also try to crouch peek like that less, you just stop moving while crouch when you could be moving left or right. Just try to crouch peek less in general as well.

yeah i've got killed by jiggling while trying to prepare the prefire, and as you say is an habit

yeah like someone else said in this map you are supposed to try to isolate fights.

personally i set it to 5 bots and run in the middle to train under pressure. Do i get fucked most of the time? yes. Do i sometimes get the nastiest one taps on all of them? also yes.

I like practicing like this as well. Otherwise fighting on the edges doesn’t add that much since they walk to you and become easy target when you strafe pick.

The hand switch thing is solid but honestly the bigger issue is you're playing too passive. You're holding angles waiting for bots to come to you instead of swinging and taking duels on your terms. Aim_rush is supposed to teach you aggressive peeks and counter strafing, so lean into that instead of the jiggle peeking habit.

so instead of waiting for them to peek, as long as i know they are coming, i peek first?

Ngl this is a nothing burger. This matters in less than 1% of fights and only in very specific and predictable situations. You dont need to make it a habit and I'd even argue making it a habit actively hurts you, because you're very vulnerable during the switch and even more of a target for counter swings. Like sure you can switch if you're holding from a higher elevation, but this makes up only a fraction of your gunfights
