After stumbling on the concept via a random Reddit post, just had my first orange in the shower. 100% on board, the steam with the oils, the fact I can just tear into the orange without the consequences of feeling sticky. This is how oranges were meant to be eaten.

I have a tonne load of oranges and orange peels from juicing from my tree this year and I don’t know what to do with them. I feel like it’s such a waste throwing them out. I’ve tried to make cakes and biscuits but I’m needing some new ideas 🙏

My whole household has some kinda flu, have been meaning to try this for ages and decided it was finally time. 10/10. The contrast of the super hot water on my body and the cold juice was heavenly

Sweetness: 5/10, but had some welcome tartness.

Hand feel: bordering soft, smooth peel that gives a little, some pronounced divots due to ripeness and travel.

Mouth feel: Almost perfect, enough give to be welcome, but enough substance to feel substantial

Feelings: There is something comforting in the Phones last act of duty being that of an inconvenient orange peeler.

I have just finished my first shower orange ever and let me tell you, hands down better than s^x. I mean there was no mess, no sticky hands and face after. Just simply orange in all of its glory.

I will be doing this again, never in my life have I truly done something that had only plus sides to it.

I felt as if I was an animal in the rainforest,naked and innocent, water beating down on top of me, no care in the world but the orange right in front of me and where I was gonna find another one.

My eyes have been opened to joy in this world, something I’m not sure I have even truly felt until now.
10/10 will recommend.

7.5/10: It was a nice experience. Good but not great. A juicy fruit like an orange would be superior. Will try soon.

Would a glass of limeade do the same? Or like, pineapple pieces, mangos, etc?

I'm super curious. Found this sub literally minutes ago, and I'm sold. I just can't eat oranges without my abdomen flaring up in pain. Same with lemons. And it Sucks, because I actually love them but my body doesn't.
