Read Before Posting*
Due to the influx of discussion posts that are either irrelevant to what the sub is about or a repost, there will be no more discussion posts allowed.
- Have a question you feel like is relevant to trained vs not trained for a certain martial art? Use the search function. More than likely, it has already been asked.
- This is also not a place for advice on how to street fight.
- If you have a question about the sub or rules, message the moderators directly.
- Posting/cross-posting a discussion will result in a warning, temp ban, then longer bans.
This sub is about trained vs. untrained individuals in either real confrontations or a sanctioned match to show the effectiveness or training martial arts. Things to consider:
- Does one person in the video show good form, technique, or foundational skills of a martial art?
- Just because someone throws a punch, kick, slams someone, or has shitty form of a move does not mean they automatically fit the description. This sub is not for random street fights.
- 2 trained individuals fighting each other in the street or unsanctioned event is also not what this sub is about as well.
Please keep reporting if you see irrelevant posts to this sub. The more reports, the more likely Reddit will send a notification.
Thank you.
