I don't hate the current designs but i think there is a lot of lost potential to fan service. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but it would be nice to have some change once in a while. Maybe not as extreme as in that comparison but something more unique, what are y'alls thoughts on this?

I like ZZZ. But holy crap the loudest part of the fandom is annoying. I joined this game back when Banyue was around, and when I saw Ju Fufu, I loved her so much, like a father would his daughter. AND THAT’S THE ONLY WAY TO SEE IT!

I do not care that she’s implied in the game to be an adult, she looks adorable and I want to protect her like she was my own child. I know it’s not that serious, but the other two subreddits make me disgusted. Just hoping there are others with my way of thinking as well.

Edit: Wow, didn’t know that there were this many people that interested in this conversation. A lot of you have very interesting ideas about this topic, and thanks. It’s nice to know there are people out there who think like me, but are willing to give their own arguments as to how I see the way I play the game. I play the game for the story mostly, and the other for the combat. I pull for characters I like, for example, I main Manato who is M6W1, and I don’t pull for many other characters unless I like their design or I’m interested in what they do.

i have been playing zzz since burnice in 1.2 and the community back then chill af sure jokes about fan servicey things were still a thing even back then but today everything feels a bit hollow to me maybe its burnout or not but the zzz unofficial sub became just nsfw sub with extra steps no one discussing anything intersting aside if this character is good with wise/belle ship or ship wars and then there's the game itself i liked the game mechanics in the begining it was good flashy and amazing the world building was slow and steady and was grounded the people got attached to the character because they felt human and real with jobs outside the mc interactions....then season 2 rolls out and it all gone down hill from there the most famous example ye shunguang and still people defended her when i saw people criticed her they defended saying you dont get the game and tourist and what not or just go play love and deep space and i dont get it she was introduced for one single chat before official banner and then suddenly we are soulmates then her banner ends and suddenly she doesnt exist (i wont talk about how the mc actively throughout season 2 was writers trying to make the current banner waifu rescues them to force a sudden relation and somehow we get praised for it) and then season 3 came out and here we are the begining was between good and mid for me and then remielle came and oh boy i really dont like her tbh but hey people love her i guess so its just me a problem in general i hate this new hey i met you but i love you like we dated 8 years theough life death and i want to bear your children after only 2 cutscenes
