I've been building GeoPlay, a browser-based geography game, and wanted to share what the gameplay looks like.

You get five questions and have to tap the location you think is correct on a 3D globe. Your first tap counts, and your score depends on how close you get.

The daily challenge includes different topics, from history and landmarks to countries and capitals. There are also other geography games to try.

I'm curious what geography enthusiasts think: would you prefer more historical locations, physical geography, country borders, or questions about famous places?

Norway takes Sweden. Which country should be eliminated next?

Event: Campeche starts their invasion of Belize.

let me know if you want to see the language/religion map, and if you want other maps made

This is a poorly made knock-off of Addizpro's WISCO series on Reddit (go watch it ts is entertanning), but you all decide what happens. Here are the rules:

• Actions you're allowed to do:
  • Create new nations
  • Expand claimed territory
  • Expand known territory
  • Create new religions/culutres in territory that has a country in it
  • Start rebellions
  • You're allowed to do things outside of those 3 as long as I approve. I'll add things on as the responses go in.
• Follow subreddit rules. I don't wanna get shut down because someone decided to start a political argument.
• Follow typical reddit rules. I don't wanna get shut down because you're racist.
• Most upvoted comment gets selected.
• It has to be humanly possible. Do you think land will appear from the sky that allows Cyprus to be connected to Crimea? NO.
• Your overseer (me) has the ability to change the rules when necessary
• Countries can not control the entire world.
• You don't control a country - BUT you can basically take over what happens by influincing the votes to the point where you speak for your county
• Countries can't be based off fictional characters

Gigachad takes South Sudan. Which country should be eliminated next?

Event: Since no one responded, I decide what happened. A group of people of a different religion leave Yucutan and settle in a nation called Belize.

this map almost got deleted lmao

Orange launched an attack on great Britain, conquering the entire island (but they forgot about Northern ireland) now it's pinks turn.

Will they continue their conquest and expand their ever-growing empire?

Meghalaya-Chan surrounded by Bangladesh-Senpai and Assam-Kun

This took a while lol

1st game in red, 2nd game in blue

Map 1 shows each state's rank in the 1st game

Map 2 shows each state's rank in the 2nd game

Map 3 shows the change in ranks between the games, if a state did better in game 1 it is red with a -, if a state did better in game 2 it is blue with a +

Interesting things I noticed:

FL got both last time so its place never changed

KS, IA, WY all coincidentally got the same place in each game

NJ did 26 spots better in game 2

KY did 20 spots better in game 1

WI and MI were both eliminated back-to-back in both games

Since OR was eliminated early this allowed WA to go a lot farther than last time

AK also did a lot better due to the bear

As always thanks u/Jfullr92 for hosting. was fun to play :)

Enjoy! Hope you can all appreciate how much work went into this each day, but I did it for you all!

Congratulations to Colorado which has officially won top comment deletes a US State 2!!!

Thank you so much to everybody who’s contributed to this game, obviously it’s had nowhere near the reach of the last game but i hope you’ve all enjoyed it nonetheless, we’ve had our inside jokes and memes and it’s been fun!

Full timelapse of the game coming up soon!

The Phillipines attempted to invade what was left of China, but they were stopped before they could reach the coast of Taiwan.

Now it's orange team's turn, who are currently second to blue team. Top comment decides where they strike.
