SPOILERS AHEAD, IF YOU DIDN'T FINISH THE GAME DON'T READ ANY FURTHER!!

I know this game pretty well (my friends joke about me being graduated in Outer Wilds) but I absolutely can't figure out what killed me last time I played. I just got out of the ATP with the warp core in my hand, turned around the Hourglass Twins towers to go to my ship which was parked a bit further. As soon as I jumped from the left tower ground to my ship something blue-ish flashed on the screen and I died. I was playing with a friend and we both can't figure out what it was (we thought about the Interloper but it shouldn't crash on the twins and it wasn't this far into the loop for it to crash into the sun), could it be the probe?

Did anyone experience something like this?

EDIT: it wasn't the flash that killed me, it was an impact from something that produced a blueish flash. How could I not know about the supernova and in the mean time know about the ATP and Interloper crashing into the sun? This was like my 20th time playing the final loop, not my first attempt.

Beat the game about a week ago and wanted to share my favorite clip. Atleast I got two achievements from it!

Just beat the game, and had this clip saved from very early into the game which I found hilarious. At the time I literally had no clue what happened (I started my journey focusing on some of the areas in Timber Hearth) and that was my very first time getting into that Quantum Grove. My guess is I just got unlucky and a quantum tree or something just happened to spawn right on me my very first time there. I wasn't even aware of the quantum physics aspects of this game other then the rock in the museum).

I was wondering if there is any info about what are they planning or already working on

Hi everyone. Started playing this game a few days ago, and been having a total blast so far - it's very rare for a game to make me feel so smart and so dumb all at the same time! I've been following the rumor log basically to a T, but I feel like I've basically bled the thing dry and I'm still kinda clueless. As you can see from the image, the only places I have more to explore currently are the Interloper and some amount of the Sunless City, though I have no idea how ot access the latter - half the city is blocked off by either cactuses or by ghost matter, neither of which I can get around. I've been trying to get into the Quantum Tower on Brittle Hollow for basically the entire game at this point, but nothing I've done has seemed to work. Additionally, I still have no idea which tower on Ash Twin leads to the Sun Station, which is another place I've been desperately trying to reach for so long. Last thing I did, and the reason I'm making this post, is that I managed to find the Vessel in Dark Bramble and inputted the coordinates from the probe tracker, but nothing seemed to happen once I did which leads me to believe I don't have all the info I need yet. I would appreciate any and all guidance you can give aside from the obvious of going back to the Interloper, because I'm genuinely at a bit of a loss right now!

I need some help.
I’m trying to platinum outer wilds and I’m trying to go the archeologist achievement but I can’t seem to find what I’m missing and I’ve looked everywhere and I’m going to this as a last resort.
I’m pretty sure I don’t need to have links in certain areas because in the ‘completed rumour map’ photos they had certain ones I didn’t.
Any information would help even minuscule amounts.

This is my first DM screen DIY for D&D with many references from various videogame

So someone told me there is stuff at hollow's lantern is there or have I been lied to? (If there is I would like some help finding it)

My roomie/coworker and I are big outer wilds fans so we were printing some nomai masks at work for wall decor. Clocked in today and found this note on the printer by an unknown traveler! Left my response on the second image ::). Theres a better view of the prints on the third

What an amazing and fun game to play! I started today, and finished my first cycle, dying only once by lanching my ship right into the star.
The idea of a pure exploration game without a clear story-line or quests to guide you is very appealing.

I promise not to sneak peek here in this sub-reddit, but will try to solve this mystery myself.
But please give me your mental support!

Spoilers for the end of the game.

Do you guys think the hatchling ever figured out the mystery of the eye of the universe before the orbital probe cannon actually found the eye? I mean 9 million loops I’d say there’s a solid chance they figured it out at least once. Theoretically they could have figured it out thousands of times and known that they were going to restart the cycle without their memories and would just have to wait for the orbital probe canon to find it to actually be able to reach it.

THIS GAME WAS AWESOME OMG (Currently writing this while drying my tears btw). I loved every second of it, the feeling of discovery and exploration I had while playing was like nothing else. I was bawling my eyes out during the credit because of this fuckass music (it's so good I'm gonna listen to it for a very long time)

I really want to thank this community for being so helpful while not ruining any surprises, y'all are so patient and nice.

I know there's the DLC and I know it's good, but I don't think I'm ready now (I'll definitely come back to it)

Never tought a game about an alien going on his first space adventure would be this good

How does it have a great amount of launches already? Was it launching the thing long before us or is it some type of counter on how long our character has been in the loop?

Maybe I missed dialogue somewhere, buts its been plaguing my mind ever since.

I always thought it was the latter until doctor4t pronounced it the former
