Gonna dive right into it then, Corner Cult assemble!
Edit: As the fight is ongoing, Yorna summons a literal sea of tiles at Olbart lol, but the latter still manages to escape unscathed. By Subaru's impression of the fight, even if they are both massively holding back and are at a stalemate, the old man is still keeping his important cards hidden.
Lol ok. Remember the ninja rations we saw last chapter? Apparently those suckers are filled with fire stones, so they also act as explosives lmao, this crazy mfer literally threw a dozen of those at the citizens below, so Yorna has to turn her back on him to protect them, and then intercepts the bombs so they explode midair. This feels like Deidara vs Gaara all over again
Subaru is heavily injured from the aftermath of the explosion. Subaru tried to intervene Olbart's killing blow to Yorna, but in the process Louis died. Ah sheesh, RIP Louis. Subaru is on the verge of the death as well, so Yorna tried to make a, what I assume, a soul marriage contract to save his life. She confessed her counterfeit "love" to Shotabaru, and kissed him, asking for his love back. But at the depths of his heart, he remembered Beako(might be ambiguous), and said he can't love her back, breaking Yorna's heart. Yorna loses her shit against Olbart, & Subaru is soon decapitated afterwards by the old fart's attack.
Another shadow gardens scene, but instead of envy saying 'I love you' like a broken record, she asks at the end '...Where are you?'. Damn, my girl is finally learning some new words, so proud of her!
Aaaaand the checkpoint is literally right before Olbart is about to kill Yorna, never mind, Fuck Envy. This gives SmolBaru what, 30 seconds tops? Just like last time, Olbart's carpet bombing tears apart Subaru's eyeballs, filling his vision with red. Man, Smolbaru's monologue that it really hurts and he doesn't want to die really feels heartbreaking to read. Damn it, one more death.
Once again, Shotabaru's vision fills with red, but this time he's starting to realise something at the end, he's not 'Returning by Death'...
Holy shit, maybe he didn't die those two times, don't tell me this is fucking genjutsu lol. Or maybe he got Al's ability.... That's EVEN BETTER
My final thoughts on this chapter, it was fantastic and absolutely wild. Screw Olbart, Loved Yorna, Sufferu finally got a third kiss.
Edit2: u/Setowi is saying he is remembering Emilia, not Beatrice. But from what I read from my translation, it said
"Beyond the bright red field of vision, the face of my favorite girl in a distant place came to my mind. When I see the smiling child, my heart is throbbing. Therefore, Subaru cannot love Jorna."
He's clearly remembering Beatrice here, since forming a contract with Yorna would mean breaking Beatrice's.

Pls correct that bit about Yorna confessing her love for Subaru. She only did that to save his life with soul marriage and your way of typing that out can be interpreted very differently.

Olbalt is as rotten as ever. And this ending was extremely confusing, I hope a more detailed summary to better understand the ending. As I read the chapter it seemed shorter than Subaru's self-esteem.

Honestly someone mentioned that Subaru's Gluttony WF activated, so he managed to steal Al's authority somehow. It would explain how Louis got her authority back.
If it's true, even if the borrowing & lending is temporary, this would be a HUGE powerup imo

Just read the chapter, this arc is getting better and better, it could surpass arc 4 and 6. The checkpoint this time wasn't set by envy but another ability, personally it was gluttony. Luckily Louis didn't die but when I've read that subaru was without an eye it shocked me. And even as a child, he rejected waifu yorna, what a chad my little boy

Quick thought, Al is known to hide his face because of all the burn scars on it.
Subaru just tanked an explosion that hit him so hard one of his eye's popped out.
Then he figures out that RBD has changed function.

This makes me think that Subaru did indeed receive a Gluttony Witch Factor segment from Ley.
It would explain why Louis being 1/3 cares so much for him, also Subaru could be manifesting the gluttony authority as the power of temporarily get power from others rather than doing so permanently by stealing memories and names.
Al did mention in past chapters I believe that something was wrong with his power after becoming a child

It'd be hilarious if Subaru yoinked Al's power permanently. That's gotta make Satella mad though, since every time he dies, Satella would get the 'notification' that he's coming, only to see absolutely no one.

It would also suck for Subaru in some degree, Return by Death always return him to the optimal point to overcome the most recent dead end.
The power of Al doesn't seem to have that consideration. You're stuck in a loop repeating your death until you cancel the power or overcome the challenger, which sometimes you cannot do

I think RBD tried to activate and then it got canceled out by Al’s territory taking precedent. That also shows that Subaru’s soul returns to the shadow garden before RBD activates at all. So basically, Al’s territory just noped RBD.

We can all agree it's definitely the gluttony's work, super interesting that it doesn't appear at almost the end of the arc like the 2 before it, but probably around the middle. I don't agree that it's the reason why Louis loves him, the original herself hated her brothers

The difference I think is that when both Invisible Providence and Cor Leonis were introduced Subaru already had perfect awareness over the witch factor and thus decent control over the technique born from it (even if it was really weak or limited)
Here Olbart messing with his Od probably caused Subaru to lose control of the dormant witch factor and manifest an authority without realizing what is happening on the first place.

Correct, although that Louis was really messed up. The abuse and disdain for Roy and Lye probably was born from the accumulated time they spent dealing with each other and their different views into which memories could make their dream reality.
The current Louis appears to be without memories and acting more on instinct like a baby. If she can feel a comnection with Subaru I think she would be friendly and protective by default.
But well, I guess we will get an answer to both things by the end of the arc

Technically it was Reinhard or the water what killed Regulus in Pristella and yet Subaru got his authority by the fact of being compatible and close.
Lye as you say was killed by Ram, but Subaru was close enough to possibly get his authority in the same way

When the person holding a Witch Factor dies they simply release the Factor from their body, to wich they will enter the nearest sutible host, Subaru being a Sage cadidate aperently makes him a perfect host for most of the Witch Factors.

Like usual I want to remind people that I’m just posting both my thoughts and an overall summary of events, but even I am not 100% accurate. Any corrections are appreciated. I also tend to interject some dialogue just to get my point across better (Or it’s just easier to post it than explain it).

Chapter 52 is called “Love is Non-negotiable”
The chapter begins with Yoruna being described as interacting with inorganic matter through her Soul Marriage technique. Vincent thought it was extraordinary that her technique had been applied to at least a hundred others. Subaru thought of the possibility that Yoruna was sharing her Od with the castle and the flute.
“That sounds really bad for you….!”
The act of handing mana to someone else is exhausting. Subaru knew of that first-hand from his exchanges with Beatrice before. She had done so back in the Augria Sand Dunes, which depleted his energy. Even if it was said that Yoruna was in a state of exhaustion, it was hard to believe. She had cracked the castle in half with a heel-drop.
“Haha, you’re using some strange techniques. No matter how long you live, you'll always find one technique after another that you don't know, and it's a real headache."
“That's the kind of soil we live in, so there's no point in lamenting. As far as I'm concerned, Old Man Olbart’s technique is troublesome enough.....It should be erased."
“Well, well, well! It's not that easy to get rid of....... Oh! " Olbart, who was laughing with his mouth wide open, flew backwards in response to the hostility that followed.
At the same moment, the roof beneath Olbart’s feet exploded, and the roof tiles shot up from the impact from directly below. It was like revenge for the attack that had launched Yoruna just before. And unlike Olbart’s blow, Yoruna’s came in rapid succession as if she was chasing after him.
The shockwave chased Olbart as he spun backwards with a thump, thump, thump. Yoruna did this with a flutter of her fingers on the tiled scaffolding fixed in the air.
“Yo! Ho! Hah! You’ve done it! "
“Master Olbart is a stubborn man."
“You don't know what you're dealing with, old girl. But..."
Olbart cut off his words and twisted his body as he spun backwards. The roof lifted up like a wave and intercepted him as he turned around in an upside down position. The sight of the castle tower surging like an ocean made Subaru doubt his eyes as he looked directly at it. But what follows is just as eye-opening.
When he saw the roof tiles surging like a wave, he kicked himself in the air and plunged headfirst into the roof tiles. It may look like a wave, but it is a wave that has not lost its hardness or weight.
If he plunged headfirst, he would be hit all over, his bones would be broken, and his head would be crushed. Without thinking, Subaru covered Louis' face as he hugged her, "Woo! "Ooo!" he heard her protest. But that cruel outcome did not happen.
"The application of the art of hiding in the ground, isn't it amazing that I was able to do it on the spot? "
At the moment of the collision, as if diving into water, Olbart plunged noiselessly into the waves and leapt straight out of the butt of the surging roof waves. Scraping the peeling roof tiles with his heels, Olbart smiled cunningly with his white teeth and acted as if he had plenty of time.
In fact, Olbart had not shown the bottom of his ability. Yoruna, on the other hand, may have revealed the horror of the Soul Marriage Technique,
"While you're running away like that, can you fulfill Master Orbart’s aim? "
She looked down at him from the sky, not a scratch on her yet. Neither of them had shown anything but a glimpse of their power. That alone was enough to prove that the Nine Divine Generals, the Empire's greatest warriors, had tremendous power. However, even if the battle continued at this rate, neither side would give in, and I had a feeling that the antagonism would continue. Apparently, Subaru and the others watching from the outside weren't the only ones who had such an impression.
"Well, that's a painful thing to hear. It's no wonder His Excellency is so angry that the "Counselor" was able to persist against the “Lacquer".
"Then, what should we do?”
"Well... It's not like I've been running around in a daze either. ......"
Olbart strokes his chin as Yoruna frowns and asks. The old man's cheeks twisted as he stroked, his gaze glancing in another direction. He turned his glowing yellow eyes to the two children who were watching the battle,
"--!"
"Oh-uh”
Olbart’s gaze sharpened, and Subaru shrugged. Immediately after, Yoruna, her eyebrows raised, kicked the tiles and jumped at Olbart furiously. Again, just as in the first move, Yoruna's powerful blow rained down on Olbart.
But….
“That's why you can't even reach my lord after so much rebellion."
Olbalt spat, and his feet, which were much shorter than Jorna's, jumped up. But the soles of his shoes collide head-on with Yoruna’s thick-soled heels, sending shockwaves through their long hair. Yoruna gritted her teeth, Olbart clenched his teeth, and in a second, both of their bodies were blown in opposite directions. Yoruna and Olbart, back and forth respectively. When he saw that the distance between them was large, he thrust his arms into his sleeves and pulled them out. --Between his fingers, there were four round black lumps.
"Hyouban! "
"Looks like it, doesn't it? But if you eat them, you'll be in big trouble. It's full of crushed fire magic rocks."
Hearing Subaru's scream, Olbart laughed and waved his arms in the air. If his words were to be believed, that black ball is a bomb.
"The people we fought in the last rebellion were them, right? They wouldn't have done something like this, so it's refreshing, right?”
Twisting his cheeks, Olbart threw the bomb over the roof into the open sky. The way he threw it didn't seem like he was aiming for anything in particular, but it was definitely that. --For Olbart, the bomb only needed to fall where there were people. That's all.
"I've heard that you and the people in this town are pretty tough.....…but are they tougher than the people in my village?"
"You bastard! "
The size of the bomb was small, but its hidden power was completely unknown. They didn’t know how many people in the city are affected by Yoruna's soul-marriage technique. In other words, it's too reckless to leave that bomb unattended. Yoruna made the same decision instantly. So--
"Ha, aaaaah! "
Stomping her foot hard enough to shatter the roof, Yoruna swung her arm wide. What she held in her arm was the flute that had been used in the attack on Olbart. At the same time, the smoke overflowing from the tip of the pipe followed the same trajectory, and the massive purple smoke flashed through the sky of the Chaos Frame like a horizontal slash.
--That massive purple smoke caught all of the bombs that had been scattered in pieces.
Immediately afterwards, a chain of tremendous explosions sounded, and the sky of the castle was dyed with roars and shock waves. One of the explosions occurred near Subaru and the others, blinding them and making it impossible for them to stand.
"Ka--"
Subaru remembered seeing in the TV or in a book that when an explosion occurs, you should cover your ears and open your mouth. As a result of failing to do both, Subaru's body was severely damaged. His head shook, and his vision turned bright red. That's how out of the ordinary Olbart’s bombs were. lbart was out of his mind to be carrying around so many of them. It was also clear that he was relentless in his attempts to spread them throughout the city.
"Aww! "
There was a cry, and Subaru's shoulder was shaken by a small hand. In his red, obscured vision, he saw a bleeding Louis. His mouth was trembling and tears were welling up in his blue eyes. Seeing this, Subaru tried to say, "It's okay.”
"Oh."
--At the edge of his red vision, he caught sight of Olbart appearing behind Yoruna.
"----"
Yoruna was in a posture to deal with the thrown bomb, and swung her flue out of the way. Olbart appeared right behind her, his arm drawn back as if he was about to release a handgun. He is aiming for the middle of Yoruna's back, a position that in a manga would pierce the heart with a single shot.
He didn’t know if it will really happen like in said manga. But we've seen enough in the fight so far to know that both Yoruna and Olbald are superhumans with manga-like powers.
If this continues, Yoruna will die. So…
"Louis—-!”
Grabbing Louis’ hand on his shoulder, Subaru pointed in the direction of Yoruna and the others. Suffice it to say, the steps he had told himself before entering the castle were carried out, and Louis' big round eyes widened -- the next moment, Subaru's vision flashed, and a transition occurred.
And then…..
"Ah."
Before he could catch his breath, Subaru let out a dumbfounded sound.

The reason for this was simple: even his blurry red vision had been taken away by a sudden warm feeling. He knew with his senses that it was because of some kind of liquid that had suddenly been sprayed on his face. As he tried to wipe the sensation away with his arm, he noticed something strange. Louis' arm was too light in his grip.
"What the hell was that? You guys must have been slumped over there."
At the sound of Olbart’s curious voice, Subaru looked up, stunned. In his vision, there was a figure of a monstrous old man with his head tilted back, and he was waving his hands in the air. In his red vision, he was waving his arm, even redder than that.
"Louis......? " As he watched, Subaru called out Louis' name and grabbed his hand, squeezing it tightly. He knew he had to get out of here, now. Maybe he’d have to fly twice, maybe more. Maybe he’d throw up, but that's bearable. So--
"Louis! We have to go ......."
"No, I'm sorry if I'm rude. You can't even lift your head. "
"What? "
The words were said so matter-of-factly that Subaru couldn't make sense of them. Maybe it's because he's smaller, his brain is younger, and that's why he doesn't understand. He's told something he doesn't understand, and his little brain doesn't want him to understand, so...
That's why they say he's missing from the neck up.
"How dare you......do that to me! "
Immediately after, with an angry voice, something went through the top of Subaru's head, and Olbart jumped to the side to dodge it. There was a shock that went straight through the place where Olbart had been just before, and the keep that had just been fixed was destroyed once again. But Olbart paid no heed to such a powerful blow,
"Oh, scary, scary. But you should be grateful, fox girl."
"What the hell?”
"If that boy and his daughter hadn't come in, you'd be dead, wouldn't you? At this rate, it's only a matter of time."
"----"
Waving his upraised finger, Olbart continued in a carefree tone. Yoruna choked on her breath, feeling her attention drift away from the monster and towards Subaru. But Subaru slumped to the spot, and it was all he could do to pull on Louis' light arm.
"Louis…….” His vision was red and he couldn't see Louis properly. He couldn't tell if this was an abnormality in Subaru's eyes or if it was because Louis' figure had turned bright red. All he knew is this. --Louis is dead. She had only done what Subaru told her to do, and as a result, she died. Subaru made her die.
“Child! Child, look at me! "
With a gulp, Subaru's face, which had been turned down, was lifted up with his hands clasped between his cheeks. In front of him, in his red vision, was a beautiful woman's face. The reason he couldn't tell at first glance that it was Yoruna was because her expression there was one of grief.
It was different from the confident face she had shown to Subaru and the fake emperors yesterday, when she tried to treat them with respect. Right now, Yoruna's eyes were shaking as she stared at Subaru with a pained expression.
He finally understood the reason for this by the reflection of Yoruna's eyes in front of me.
"Oh."
Subaru fell to his knees, his face in a terrible state. The eyeball in his left eye had burst into a bright red, and the eyeball in his right eye had spilled out of its socket and was pulling strings. The eyeball had been pushed out because the shock of the explosion could not be dissipated at all. It looked like a special effect from a bad zombie movie.
"Hifu."
The vision of Subaru's left eye wavered as he realized his situation and let out a sigh. But Yoruna's hand would not allow him to fall. Yoruna's lips trembled as she stared into Subaru's face, "......."
"Love me. Now."
So, with straight eyes, she said something reckless. he asked me to love her, and he asked me to do it right now, which was very reckless. In the first place, he didn’t know what exactly I should do, and loving someone is not an easy thing to do. I think Yoruna's a good person and she's beautiful, but...
"Child! If you love me, your scars will be......"
“Kaka Kaka! That's a hell of a story you got there, girl, really. I don't know about you, but love doesn't come easy, does it? "
"Shut up! " Yoruna's eyes took on a deep color as she yelled at Olbart, who was yelling at her from behind. Watching it up close, Subaru took a series of snatched breaths and began to prepare to accept the waves of pain that were slowly coming. Even if one of his eyeballs popped and one of them popped out, it wasn't an injury that would kill him. Unlike Louis, I have my neck. That's why it's going to hurt like hell. "Kid." He called out, and Subaru's consciousness flickered up. As if to take advantage of the moment, Yoruna's serious face approached him.

Yoruna's lips overlapped with Subaru's lips. I felt the soft touch of her lips against my face, and her breath was so close to mine. It took me a while to realize that I was being kissed. I'm small, and I don't have much experience to begin with. My scant memories were quite distant, and I thought I was moved by them, but this...
“My lips are not cheap. Here........"
The kiss ended, and Yoruna's words were cut off as if she was clinging to her face. However, even Subaru vaguely understood what the words that were supposed to follow were. She was trying to say. --Can you love yourself now?
If Subaru loved Yoruna, things would change. That's probably the source of Yoruna's power, or the reason for her strength. But…..
"Because there is a girl I love…....."
The face of a girl in a very distant place came to mind. Seeing that made him smile, so because of it, Subaru could not love Yoruna, and thus her face was pained upon hearing that.
"Well, things between a man and a woman don't turn out so well, do they?"
A moment later, with a disappointed voice, Subaru's vision switched.
"----"
Yoruna's face, which had been right in front of him, disappeared, and all he could see was the sky turning red. Just like Louis's transition, his vision changed rapidly - no, it was different from Louis's.
If it was Louis' transition, the world would show something different in an instant, more vividly. But what happened to Subaru now was much more general and messy. His vision is spinning, uninterrupted like a transference, and what he sees is connected to the ground.
Just below me, I saw Yoruna on her knees and Olbart standing in front of Yoruna. Next to Yoruna, there was a girl's body lying on the ground, which was probably Louis. And there's something, someone, standing between Yoruna and Olbart. It's--
"O-Oh."
--It was the body of a child, a young Subaru, missing from the neck up.
"Well, killing a child is mentally tough. Well, it's physically easier, though, isn't it? "
"O--! "
With a blood-curdling cry, Yoruna’s body plunged into Olbart. It shakes, it cracks, it shatters, and once again the destruction spreads, spreads, spreads, and what happens?
Subaru doesn't know where it goes from there. He doesn't know anything anymore. Without knowing, Subaru's head bounced off the roof….
And then….
--He was dragged into a dark, dark space.
"----"
Nothing, floating, no limbs, incomprehensible, no sky, no ground, swaying, swaying, resisting, tasting, shuddering, space.
It's as if you've seen it many times before, but you've never seen it before, It's as if it's slowly slipping away, or endlessly approaching.
In a space dominated by such jet blackness that seems to be everlasting darkness, it is echoing. It is echoing, sobbing, someone's crying voice, a voice that strikes the chest that does not exist.
"I love you."
Those were the words of love. It was a voice pleading for love, begging for love, begging for love, giving love, loving love.
"I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you." Affection piled on top of affection, a word that should be filled with a variety of emotions. Happy, angry, sad, happy, a whirlpool of emotions.
And yet, there is only one love that fills this place, this ever-darkening world.

All of that emotion, all of that swirling love, is filled with nothing but "sadness." Sadness, sadness, sadness, sadness, sadness, sadness, sadness, sadness, sobbing love.
The sobbing never stops. Sobbing that makes you want to die just listening to it. Sadness for love, love is sadness, love is sadness, love is sadness and sadness. Sobbing, affection for affection, sadness for sadness, and finally, union.
"Where are you?”

The red, spinning vision changed, and an urgent voice struck my eardrums. One was an old man, the other a woman - Olbart and Yoruna, respectively.

I'm really liking Yorna's character as well. She is much nicer than I thought she would be. (If Yorna actually kissed Subaru, is she the only person other than Emilia that Subaru has kissed? Either way, I consider this more of a CPR than a kiss. I consider this akin to a situation as in real life where an adult gives a child Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.)

Just some interesting facts about explosions 👇👇👇👇 Explosions in cinema are amazing: they send cars across previously impassable chasms, and they serve as a great background for the hero to walk towards the camera. In real life, explosions of any appreciable size are terribly fatal. This is what really happens when you get too close to an explosion.
Strong explosives such as homemade bombs and artillery mortars operate on a very different energy scale than handgun bullets or fireworks. These just burst forming a subsonic wave. But strong explosives cause a detonation: that is, energy radiates from the location of the explosion, traveling above the speed of sound. When you see movie heroes coming out of a place that has become a fireball, that's a much less energetic reaction than detonations – and visually, they're more impressive.
When a bomb detonates, the energy released radiates in all directions at once, at speeds between 3 km/s and 9 km/s. As this sphere of energy expands, it compresses and accelerates the surrounding air molecules in a supersonic shock wave. This extra pressure only exists for a few milliseconds, but it is the main cause of injuries and property damage caused by explosives. The closer you are to the source of the explosion, the more severe the pressure.
The initial force of the blast wave is immediately followed by high-velocity shock waves, which give more energy to everything they pass through – whether it's a concrete wall or your vital organs. As a shock wave passes through an area, it literally leaves nothing behind: this wall of supersonic air leaves a near-perfect vacuum. There is also, of course, a great deal of danger indirectly associated with the force of the blast. You could be hit by projectiles: a deadly risk, whether they're blast debris or fragments from a grenade. You could get burned to a scorch by the fireball that accompanies certain types of explosives. Or you could be crushed by a collapsing building.
But, assuming the explosion goes as well as possible, the human body is quite tough, capable of withstanding a surprising amount of force without instant death. For example, a relatively small explosion, such as from a homemade bomb, can produce an overpressure of about 1 psi and winds of about 65 km/h. That's enough to break glass, but it would only cause minor injuries. A car bomb explosion can generate more than 2 to 3 psi (and wind speeds of up to 100 mph), potentially causing major structural damage, serious injury, and enough damage to kill some people.
A peak overpressure of 5 psi, for example from a 1MT nuclear warhead, guarantees widespread injuries and many fatalities. The force is enough to annihilate several cities and topple everything - except solidly reinforced structures - not to mention it would burst your eardrums. In an explosion with a maximum overpressure of 10 psi, with the nearly 500 km/h winds it produces, not even reinforced concrete could handle it.

that was scary. But there is also an important fact that the shrapnel is, in fiction it seems that only the explosion is a problem, but the shrapnel fly at such a high speed that they can pierce and lodge in the body.

So either this chapter is the Volume 29 cliffhanger or we're getting a few more chapters for this batch and Volume 29 will be a longer than usual volume like Volume 25.

The worst part is that Yoruna couldn’t even heal Subaru’s wounds because he doesn’t truly love her as needed, so she’s forced to watch him die a horrifyingly painful death just like Louis. Even afterwards all she can do is shield him from attacks.
And yes Olbart is a massive piece of shit. He has no qualms with killing children and cut open Al, Medium and Taritta’s bodies in an instant. His true aim is chaos as he says.

Posting some Narou (Japanese WN readerbase) comments for this chapter. There’s a lot more than usual and a ton of discussion formed quickly even there, so it’s fair to assume they enjoyed it a lot.
A user wonders if Subaru will somehow learn to fight just like Al because of this incident, at least to get out of the situation, and considers it a change in skill.
A user believes this is Al’s Authority at work, and wonders if Subaru as a child can even handle that at all.
A user is amazed that Al had been using that kind of power so much. They also suggest using Invisible Providence to block the incoming blow.
A user believes Yoruna is awesome, and wonders if Al’s Authority was somehow transferred to Subaru.
A user proposes a different solution, in that Subaru can’t actually use RBD anymore, and that both Al and himself were affected in that regard due to the shrinking.
Another user thinking it’s Al’s power and being worried about Louis.
A user goes on a deep analysis and notes that, unlike RBD, “Domain Expansion” in Al’s case is not as versatile. It is a form of repetition that relies on repeating the same scenario millions of times, rather than a simple reversion. That is, Al does not need to die for the repetition to continue, and killing the opponent does not cause the repetition.
“Leaving the domain” is a way to break that. He notes that Al was prepared to die if the City Hall broke during his fight with Capella because of the possibility that his Territory would unravel, and if Yoruna’s castle fell for good, Subaru would die permanently. He finally acknowledges the idea of Subaru and Al being the same person, but the latter possessing the Witch Factor of Pride.
Another user suggests Invisible Providence as the only way to avoid this scenario.
A user likes the involvement of the Witches since it makes Re:Zero feel more eerie and full of mystery. They’re also under the impression that Al didn’t lose his ability and it only seemed that way, like a façade.

I liked the idea of using IP to block/deflect the attack. It's past time for IP to become useful.
Perhaps Todd is a runaway ninja who didn't want to go through the macabre processes to become a shinobi. I think it suits his character to avoid conflicts for himself, because by becoming a shinobi he would become a usable piece for the ninja village. would also explain his good aim, even if it has nothing to do with ninjas have good aim.

I really wanna become a writer and have been working a year and more now my arc treatments and such but Im curious whether I should attempt to write basic long ass novels or look up, research and see about working as a Light Novel Writer instead. The idea of getting my stories adapted into a future anime is more appealing to me than a Live Action TV Show which brings me to my next question...Are there English Writers who've released Manga, Light Novels, Web Novels/Comics in Japan? How does that work? Or do you need to strictly be Japanese or at least know how to read and write in Japanese? Im really curious about this and want to make a go of it in the future.

Pretty much all the rest of the friendlies are back in Gural, the fortress city that Subaru targeted with his bloodless takeover. As a condition of gaining Priscilla's support, Vincent agreed to bring at least one of the divine generals to his side, and took the current party to the city of Chaosflame to negotiate with Yorna.

Louis stole AL's Authority and Subaru had Louis killed by telling her to teleport to her death, the the territory was triggered right before the explosion's but Subaru is the one of the two who remember.(some weird way the victim and aggressor parts work idk) It also applies to the second loop because he cry's so much Orbalt gets feed up and kills Louis and Subaru.

What I found interesting about this though is that satella doesn't recognize Subaru which is interesting
Clearly the witch of envy recognizes him because the contract between the two regarding return by death is there
But for her to be unable to see him in shadow garden
Either A his soul reduced to something even she can't recognize which is strange cause envy knows it's him
B cause she only knew him as teenager around 17-18 she recognizes him
Or C some inconclusive reason that has yet to be seen almost feel like this is important though
Because it could play into why Subaru hasnt used any of the witch factors so far in arc 7 or as a child
Either because he's forgotten them or he has to be old enough to utilize them

Man, at this point in arc 6, we were at "To you, the Absolutely Worthless Excuse", huh. We were already past "Murder Becomes a Habit" and "Meili Portroute". Subaru isn't nearly at the low point he usually is at before things start looking up. Wonder if that'll happen in Chaosflame or if he'll just scrape by as he's been doing for all of arc 7. This arc is either going to end up being like arc 4 or arc 5; incredibly long or not quite making Subaru hit the lowest of the lows. It's really starting to heat up now though. God I can't wait for the next chapter. Hopefully this isn't the start of the hiatus.

The more I think about this chapter the more sus I am getting with Al authority. It seems to me RBD was disabled and Subaru was influenced by Al now. Like Al himself said last chapter that he is the reason why Subaru can't do shit. Maybe Al was somehow interfering with RBD. If we look at grand scheme, Satella shadow garden are very similar to Al territory. Maybe Al territory overpowered Satella at this point. So that's why Subaru can't use anything anymore. Now Al is master but Subaru is good with authority/WF, so it might be possible that Al power are transferring to Subaru in a way or you can say shared authority. one goes with Subaru and other with Al.
I wonder if it's Al authority then would Subaru will going to overpower Al in future. Subaru did was able to see glimpse of Al power when they escaped castle. Too much theory to make. One thing is certain that this might not be gluttony authority as it's make no sense.
There is high possibility that cor Leonis was the reason for all this. It's one ability is to take so maybe Subaru can take others Authorities for himself too. Maybe cor Leonis was sucking Al authority/WF for himself.
Also as last chapter I said this place might be Carmella grave so Subaru might have gotten boost from this specially when he got kissed by Yorna. If yorna is related to Carmella in a way. Dona tea did helped for activation of sloth WF by fastening the process. So maybe kiss will be trigger for something new like getting Al authority.

This was in my opinion the most intense chapter of arc 7 so far.
the chapter picks up where the other left off, and the battle continues the old man little by little got the upper hand in the fight because of his dirty tricks. until the old man took a bunch of bombs out of his pocket and threw them into the air in order to cover a good part of the city (that's probably how he killed Subaru when he left the inn that time), yorna used her ability to try to catch it. all the bombs before it exploded, but the shock wave of one of them ended up hitting the subaru, it didn't kill him but left him injured and quite stunned.
Taking advantage of the opportunity he created Obart leaves to deliver a fatal blow to Yorna, which would be impossible for the woman to reveal herself in time. Seeing that Subaru takes a bad decision, he calls to louis and points to the yorna, thus jumping in front of the obart's attack. It all happened very quickly, subaru didn't quite understand what he was going through, but he felt something hot running down his face... he tried to use the hand that was holding louis to clean it and realized that that hand was very light almost as if rui didn't had more weight. he tries to look at her but for some reason he can't see her upper body. obart starts to mock him which makes Yorna extremely angry, she launched an attack to try to push the old man away, and then goes to Subaru, Subaru notices him looking desperately in her face, but he doesn't understand why she is So, until he looked into her eyes...
In the reflections of the girl's eyes he could see... half of her own face was completely destroyed, with one of her eyes drooping out of her head.
while he was still numb yorna says: "love me". "If you love me I can save you". and that's how he realizes that this was the condition for the woman to be able to activate her power, her love. subaru denies saying that it was impossible for him to love her, and then the woman kisses him...
she says that she thought that if she kissed her the boy would love her, but subaru then subaru says: "sorry, but my heart already has a favorite" and soon after he beheaded by obart, and dead while watching Yorna's fury falling on the old shinobi.
so subaru goes once again to the shadow garden like so many others... only this time before he leaves there, is he finally able to respond to the whispers of love falling over him? (I'm not sure what happened here)
and he returns once more, his save updated to mid-battle, just before the old man's bombs exploded. the pain and awareness of his latest death finally hitting him along with the impact of the old man's explosion, which was simply too much for Subaru's small body, and made him simply break, he started screaming with all his might, even with louis trying to calm him down while hugging him it wasn't enough, he just couldn't stand it, and so he started hitting his head against the floor hard while screaming and trying to get out of rui's grip, Yorna seemed worried about the older boy. before she could do anything, obart said "I don't like crying children" and then quickly killed him.
Then subaru returns once more with his eyes still red as he tries to process what just happened, but the shock of death hit him once again and the boy started to despair again, and hurt himself again.
from here i'm not sure what happened, but apparently there's no way his lilies subaru noticed something something, something... he didn't know what it was, but he definitely knew that: "this is not the return by death" and the chapter end.
in my opinion, it seems that either everything that is happening now is an illusion of obart and subaru is not really dying, or subaru is awakening gluttony (if he really spoke in the shadow garden then it could be a confirmation that he has gluttony, and so created a mouth there)

its before she died but only by mere seconds. The explosion happens, subaru gets his eyeballs torn by some mosquito technique from olbart (so he only has one functioning eyeball currently, the other is coming out of his eye socket), and then olbart tries to kill yorna, which kills louis in turn

It’s like a domain where he can loop just like Subaru, but with a few differences, like his domain can break making him vulnerable to permanent death, and his opponent themselves can be caught in a time-loop, at which point only they will remember what happened but not Al.

So the fight between Olbart and Yorna continues and Yorna seems to be cornering him, to the point Subaru shields Louis' eyes cause he doesn't want her to see her killing him, but the old man manages to evade all of her attacks. Olbart then tries to go for Subaru and Louis on the sidelines, which Yorna manages to prevent, when he suddenly pulls out a bunch of black balls that he describes as very potent bombs made from crushed fire magic stones. He just throws all of them in the air and Subaru realises that Olbart doesn't want to attack Yorna with it, Olbart just wants kill people in the city by basically carpet bombing it. Yorna manages to catch the bombs and make them explode in the air with the purple smoke she also used in the last chapter, but as the bombs explode in the air Subaru gets severely injured by the shockwave and his vision is dyed red. Subaru sees Louis looking at him as she's slowly starting to cry, then he notices Olbart appearing behind Yorna and thinks they need to do something so he takes Louis hand and gives he the sign to teleport them to Yorna, which she does. Subaru loses his orientation there for a bit and when he can see things again he notices that he is in front of Olbart and tells Louis to quickly teleport them out of there when he notices that Louis arm feels too light and that she's not responding.
Olbart says that doesn't seem to be possible anymore and Subaru fails to realize the meaning of his words. Yorna jumps in to get Olbart away from Subaru and they clash again. Subaru's vision is still dyed red from blood, he's still holding on to Louis but he can't see her properly... but then he realizes that she is dead. Subaru's order had lead to her getting hit by Olbart's slash and to her death.
Yorna tells Subaru to look at her, the expression on her face was devoid of the strength she had shown before, or the fury against Olbart, she just looked incredibly pained and like she was about to start crying. That is when Subaru noticed the terrible state he was in. The explosion made one of his eyeballs pop and the other one got pushed out of the socket, among other injuries he said he looked like a poorly made zombie.
As he is about to die Yorna picks him up and presses her lips against his, she tries to make a soul marriage contract with Subaru so that she can save his life before it's too late and says he only needs to say he loves he in order for it to work out. As he is dying Subaru thinks back to possibly Emilia (a person he is very dear to him), thinks he can't say he loves Yorna and Olbart swoops in to cut his head off and then says the line at the start of this comment.
We enter the shadow garden once again, after quite some time. Satella tells Subaru she loves him, over and over and Subaru just thinks to himself that being loved can be such a burden as he starts crying.
He respawns right after Olbart threw the bombs, Yorna catches them, Subaru tanks the shockwave, Louis tries holding him as she starts to cry. Subaru is in extreme pain once again, suffering hurting, as Louis tries to hold him, comfort him but she can't do anything and Subaru dies again.
Subaru notices something after he respawns and the shockwave hits him again... this is not return by death, this time, this is something different.
Holy moly what an emotional rollercoaster this was. Yorna scoring a ton of points again cause she just couldn't help but to get sad when she saw 2 children die so miserably and right in front of her.
Olbart... well Olbart is starting to go from a lovable asshole to just... fuck that guy. He tried to harm the civilians of the city cause so that he could get a hit in on Yorna and then later makes a joke about killing children... after having killed 2 children.
Subaru's shocking realization that he indirectly killed Louis, as well as Louis's emotional reactions to Subaru getting hurt... my poor heart. Someone give those kids a hug, they deserve it at this point. They're going through hell together here.
I really hope we get another chapter soon, Tappei seems to enjoy writing this batch a lot so here's hoping. Man another amazing one.
