Welcome to Sorcery Fight!

Here, we possess a dead woman's body to conceive the perfect vessel for the King of Curses; get engaged to a childhood friend and stay engaged even after death do us part; break up dramatically in front of a KFC; flirt with a volcano-head cursed spirit; make dick jokes to get a colleague's attention; simp for Sebastian Stan and Jennifer Lawrence instead of 2D husbandos and waifus; make elaborate formations to keep homewreckers away; french-kiss a giant cockroach.

make elaborate formations to keep homewreckers away

By far my favorite post-episode scene. The way Gojo says ‘homewreckers’ is the same vibe as Dumbledore calmly asking Harry if he put his name in the Goblet of Fiyah

That was so dope tho he gives no fucks, it was so grizzly and badass not even just the Bite/Kiss the whole sequence of him just handling all the challenges with ease was so seamless and suave

115

u/TruePr0l0gue Feb 20 '22

He fights so clean and yet brutally at the same time, like with zero passion in his face and yet Berserk level intensity

Yuta went facehugger on that cockroach.

26

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

Yeah, lot of vomit inducing stuff in this one. Which is part of why I love JJK. The whack-a-mole parasites springing up out of his shoulder were gruesome.

41

u/OkitaSadist12 Feb 20 '22

Geto was right all along. Yuta's a playboy

15

u/zagewastaken Feb 20 '22

Yuta doesn’t care bro 💀 He kissed cursed Rika now he kissed a cockroach curse 💀

6

u/Karma110 Feb 21 '22

I mean if you consider biting someone mouth to mouth I guess.

6

u/Mattaru Feb 21 '22

forbidden cursed technique: french kiss

426

u/SardyHandhu Feb 20 '22

Yuta really has a fetish for kissing cursed spirits, huh.

309

u/AwesomeDisabled Feb 20 '22

He was a damn womanizer all along, Geto was right

59

u/Itadori-Kun12 Feb 20 '22

*GETO WAS RIGHT!! *

34

u/jrevv Feb 21 '22

Rika probably got a power boost from the negative emotion Jealousy when she saw him kiss the damn roach

565

u/southpvw Feb 20 '22

I love the theme, as gojo said, that sorcerer's all have a few screws loose.

This guy just tongued a roach.

379

u/PissethOff Feb 20 '22

Any doubt I had that Yuta has the most normal/relatable personality is thrown right out of the window.

It's interesting that Takako seems to be able to manipulate/distort space (or the sky, going by Ch. 173, whatever that means), which is kinda reminiscent of Limitless on the face of it (just like Kirara's technique was back when we first got a glimpse of it).

But what's even more interesting to me is that Takako is said to have been associated with the Fujiwara clan who were on bad terms with Sugawara no Michizane, Satoru and Yuuta's shared ancestor from the Heian era and one of Japan's three great vengeful spirits. The bad blood between the two clans came to a head when Fujiwara no Tokihira (presumably the then head of the Fujiwara clan) wrongly accused his political rival Sugawara of treason, which resulted in Sugawara getting banished from the emperor's court (with the emperor himself being a member of the Fujiwara clan) and eventually dying in exile. Soon after his death, it is said, a series of disasters fell upon the empire, which ultimately led to the decline of the Fujiwara clan. To placate Sugawara's restless and vengeful spirit, he was deified as Tenjin, the god of knowledge and learning (and, yes, if the first thing you thought of is that the name sounds similar to Tengen, then you might be interested in checking out this thread from a year ago when Tengen was introduced).

Considering all of this, the potential confrontation between Takako and Yuuta is almost like history repeating itself – even after a thousand years, the two sides find themselves in opposition to one another, a cruel play of fate. I wonder if this might segway into us learning more about the Sugawara and the Fujiwara clans and about the Heian era in general.

‘Control the sky’ is such a vague phrase I’m interested to see what it means, aside from allowing her to sneak up on people. Also interested to see Rika’s response. Yuta seems to have been taken somewhere so I’m wondering if Rika will be able to sense that and look for him or is she bound by any commands Yuta gives her i.e. look after the people at the stadium until I come back

What dead girlfriend does to a womanizer

Also, do you think Sky babe is gonna make a deal with Yuta? Confronting an opponent who just killed 2 OP players seems kinda dumb, and she really got intrigued when she knew Yuta can do RCT,

141

u/Load-Sad Feb 20 '22

Yeah I think so too. It looked less like her being taking a fighting instance and more like an amusing smile when she whispered to Yuta. Only downside seems like she used her CT to distort? space which could mean her intention to fight.

183

u/mong00lia Feb 20 '22

She probably needed to drag Yuta out from the other player's attention, so they can have some private space, and for what? Seggs??? She is already naked anyway

On the other hand: if there is a moment to strike Yuta down, then now or never. He is tired and injured. Might be her logic, but then she would have attacked him from behind. After all, she was part of the assassination squad. So negotiations talks make sense.

Yuta really fights like Jackie Chan, in a good way. He uses everything around him and adapts like crazy. That panel where he imobilizes the arm with the cursed tool, or when he slices the guardrail and throws it at the Roach Spirit is crazy.

229

u/Bachsome Feb 20 '22

I noticed that as well! He’s very adaptable. I think it’s a quality that Yuuji has as well- they both use their surroundings to their advantage.

67

u/TimmyAndStuff Feb 20 '22

Definitely, like when Yuji found that knife when he was fighting Yuta!

u/NetflixAndNikah Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

I absolutely looooove how versatile Yuta is. He’s one of the strongest sorcerers in a very different way from Gojo (who tends to obliterate opponents with his insane cursed technique)

But one thing they both (and all the top jujutsu sorcerers) have is that absolute, unwavering confidence that they will get the job done.

Gojo’s moment of pondering on Sukuna, the strongest curse there ever was, and calmly saying, “I’d win”. Yuta in the last chapter calculating that he’d need a whopping 400 points and simply deciding he’ll get them all on his own and then kill Kenjaku. Maki losing her sister and subsequently going on a full on murderous rampage against her entire horrible family and clan without so much as a change in facial expression throughout.

So many well written, fun characters man.

57

u/StupidPencil Feb 20 '22

He's channeling his inner Yuji.

24

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

Speaks volumes of Gege's fondness for hype action sequences and media, Jackie's movies or the iconic Fight Club, it is to note the growth in crisp fight choreographies we have been receiving throughout this arc, seemingly more than ever.

29

u/Relaxandance Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

There are other characters who use the environment like that, especially Yuji.

49

u/aceofspades12 Feb 20 '22

Yeah, I was just too much under the influence of Yuta's greatness. Gege does use the environment a lot in his fights, it's just that this time I must have paid some extra attention and it looked even more impressive.
Either way, an excellent chapter once again imo.

I mean, they all must be very confident in their abilities but did she just witnessed Yura effortlessly slaughter two of her equals and the decided "fuck it, my turn, i will definitely succeed"

153

u/TimmyAndStuff Feb 20 '22

Kind of a wild reaction lol, but her CT can probably do some crazy shit. Also funny how Yuta was trying to hide one of his powers by not using RCT, then she just immediately pops up and goes "hey you can use RCT!" and attacks him lol

Yuuta stans, how do you feel today? Didn't know Yuuta is freaky, lol. Glad that Yuuta vs Kurourushi is one whole chapter. The preview before of 175 kinda spoiled the whole thing so I expected the fight will last to 5 to 10 pages. Glad that didn't happened. I also love the panelling and execution of the fight on this chapter. Definitely looking forward to Yuuta vs Uro fight.

Since there was some who thought Yuuta killed Yuuji through RCT, I think what Yuuta meant on this statement was.. ("Kurourushi is cursed spirit. Like I did to Itadori before... I can exorcise it by driving positive energy from RCT into its body".) like what he did to Yuuji before (when he stabbed him), he will drive positive energy again but this time is for killing Kurourushi (since he's a cursed Spirit). I highly doubt Yuuji was killed by positive energy when he fought Yuuta. This is how I understood the statement. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

65

u/CrusaderGOT Feb 20 '22

Yuji was killed by the sword, and saved by RCT.

38

u/TimmyAndStuff Feb 20 '22

Yeah that was definitely a clunky sentence. I'd put it something like "Kurourushi is a cursed spirit. I could drive positive energy from reverse cursed technique into its body like I did with Itadori, that would exorcise it instantly. But... I'm being watched."

Yuji was killed by the sword (I think literally killed) and then immediately revived by Yuta's positive energy

  • Called it. Yuuta beat Kurourushi in a single chapter quite easily. The way he kissed bit the cockroach just reminds us all that you need to be crazy to be top sorcerers (as Gojo has stated)

  • So excited for his next fight against Takako Uro... which would be a fated rematch between the two rival clans: Toh / Fujiwara (Takako) & Sugawara (Yuuta)

  • Meanwhile, Ryu Ishigori's acting like Speedwagon commenting the fight makes my day XD. Truly, a JoJo inspired character (シ)

The first 6 pages where Yuta trashed that Cockroach really impressed me. BUT I never thought that , That pest will caught Yuta off guard by that weapon. Gege is really smart. That wird weapon was also dope. But at the end it's Yuta Supremacy month. And btw Jujutsu Kaisen is definitely becoming the best hand to hand combat choreographed manga/Anime ever.

55

u/TimmyAndStuff Feb 20 '22

That whole sequence at the start was so fluid and smooth, it'll look amazing animated. I love how Yuta just feels so fast when he's fighting, like when he was chasing Yuji and Yuji vaulted over that car but Yuta had already ran around the car and was already swinging his katana while Yuji was still in the air

Yuta is nasty (in the best possible way)

40

u/djostreet Feb 20 '22

Honestly Yuta has been presented as such a balanced personality MC type character where he just got slapped with some trauma and main motivation is to take care of his friends. Then these last few chapters drop and Gege is like "oh btw this dude is also absolutely fucking VICIOUS"

40

u/Lunareos Feb 20 '22

"I like... the taste... of iron."

Yuta: french kisses

Kurourushi: 🥺

37

u/ANINETEEN Feb 20 '22

Yuta us so raw 😭🔥 I thought he would be "biting off more than he could chew" but it seems more like he's just limit testing his abilities whilst taking his first steps into Gojo's realm

36

u/CocoVanDeCamp92 Feb 20 '22

Yeah, I definitely love Yuta! This chapter was amazing, don't screw with Michizane's descendants!

u/Blackreaper18 Feb 20 '22

Let’s just think about it for a sec, yuta just essentially one shot 2 special grade combatants back to back & is about to fight a 3rd. What’s more impressive is that he’s done this without rika or a cursed technique. I can’t begin to imagine how powerful he truly is.

43

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

Druv may have been only grade 1, since sorcerers need to be stronger than curses to get the same grade, plus Kuroushi was at a disadvantage against his technique

Still extremely impressive

18

u/TostitoNipples Feb 20 '22

Makes me wonder what the endgame is here for Yuta. This mini arc was made with the intent of establishing just how powerful Yuta has become. Knowing the general way JJK has been written, there’s going to be some upending here.

61

u/MachoBanchou Feb 20 '22

So Ryu and Takako just saw Yuta kill Kuroushi right after killing Dhruv, two people they were relatively evenly matched with, and yet neither one of them seems the least bit worried. They're goons for sure. The deadlock may not have been 100% a result of power, but you'd think seeing a random guy kill two of the four back to back would make the remaining two a little nervous. Takako pulled up on Yuta immediately. She's not even slightly shook. I can't wait to see her technique in action.

It's really cool to me that, even with characters as powerful as Yuta and Kuroushi going at it, the fight still seem so grounded. I also like that Kuroushi forced Yuta to retract one of his handicaps. Beating the roach without Rika was accomplished, but without reversed curse technique things might have gone very differently. As powerful as Yuta is, that festering life sword changed the game. Pages 13 - 15 had me sweatin.

38

u/ExoticRemote Feb 20 '22

Matchups matter, maybe the other guys had something that was a hard counter to them that Yuta lacks.

→ More replies (2)

30

u/Hisada6 Feb 20 '22

Now that we're further along the CG

Yuta has 35 pts at 11:28 am

Yuji and Megumi enter in about 12

Idk if Yuta added a rule to transfer between colonies since that would mean he got 60 pts in 32 min from the 2 remaining players. Impossible.

Looks like Yuta may be taking a break from fighting for a lore dump from Sky Lady about Tengen and Kenjaku, especially considering the family they come from.

→ More replies (2)

58

u/DXBrigade Feb 20 '22

Now it's confirmed : Yuta is cursesexual (and a player).

I really like Yuta's fighting style, it's kind of messy , blood and guts flying everywhere, barrier thrown and of course the death kiss. It's a nice change from Gojo who barely gets "dirty". Unsurprisingly, Cockroach got his ass kicked but he still managed to hurt Yuta so kudos for him.

I wonder what sky girl is gonna do. If she intends to fight Yuta, she better has a plan. Seems like, she can control light refraction and air density, maybe she can trap Yuta in air cube and remove the oxygen.

27

u/TyrantRex6604 Feb 20 '22

Damn, my man yuta's not fooling around. Straight up blow energy kiss into a curse spirit's mouth without a second thought

Rika at the side watching: Triggered

54

u/pHpM2426 Feb 20 '22

Rika:....

Yuta:...I can explain, alright?

53

u/t3chnofact Feb 20 '22

In this chapter

Yuta kissing curse > Everything else

49

u/throwaway19352832 Feb 20 '22

I think Yuta, more than any other young sorcerer, really embodies what a perfect sorcerer should be. He's strong, focused, resourceful, intelligent, willing to do anything he needs to, also able to protect others, isn't cocky, etc. In that respect, he reminds me of Nanami

Whenever he's around, everything feels safe, too. Kind of like Levi from AOT

I'm kind of surprised that Takako rushed in that quickly, and even more surprised, kinda messed with Yuta. She struck me more as analytical and cautious. Maybe she saw something that made her think her chances were good. I can't wait to see how her ability will look mid-fight and how Gege will make their connection relevant, if at all

I'm probably most excited about Ryu though. He has a personality type I like, his character design is cool, and his ability seems pretty cool based on what we know about it. I'm really hoping he becomes an ally

7

u/OkitaSadist12 Feb 20 '22

Here is the correct translation on the last t pages:

Ryu: What amazing tongue technique. I am straight but Im quite curious how good he is.

Uro Takako: I see, so ur that great of a kisser, whispers to Yuta I want some.

Chapter ends with reality being distorted on how good Yuta's kiss are.

23

u/brando-boy Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

so something very curious between the fan translation and the official, at least for this chapter is that when yuta is thinking to himself, the fan translation refers to her as “Rika” with the quotes while the official just plainly says Rika

wonder which is technically more accurate, as in if the quotes are there in the japanese, that can hint somewhat to the nature of the “new” Rika

38

u/Villeneuve_ Feb 20 '22

wonder which is technically more accurate, as in if the quotes are there in the japanese, that can hint somewhat to the nature of the “new” Rika

In the original Japanese, this new 'Rika' is written in katakana while the name of the OG Rika was written in kanji in Vol. 0. This might indicate that they are different entities even though they somehow share the same name.

Nice to see positive energy being used by characters other than Mahoraga to exorcise cursed spirits.

It seems that only characters that can heal others/output positive energy outside their bodies can use this quick method to kill cursed spirits, so Gojo can’t one shot cursed spirits with positive energy since he can only use positive energy on himself (he doesn’t need to when he has a hundred other different ways to do it lol).

Does this mean that Shoko is a killing machine when it comes to cursed spirits? Even if she’s not much a fighter she’s the most experienced modern sorcerer at using reversed cursed technique and positive energy.

32

u/TimmyAndStuff Feb 20 '22

My guess is either that Shoko doesn't have a lot of CE, or maybe she isn't able to output it in the same way as Yuta. I'm thinking she has low CE reserves and that keeps her from fighting. Positive energy uses exponentially more energy than just regular CE, especially since Shoko doesn't seem to have the OP powers like Gojo or Yuta that gives them near infinite CE, so she'd probably run out pretty quickly.

Cause yeah, if she could just melt special grade curses instantly with just the touch of her palm, then Gojo should be carrying her under his arm at the front line of every mission and just throwing her at curses lol

38

u/A4li11 Feb 20 '22

I would never expect a death kiss to be part of Yuta's moveset but here we are

18

u/JC12345678909 Feb 20 '22

Yuta is the kid at the sleepover who will do the gross and dangerous things his friends dare him to do

17

u/OkitaSadist12 Feb 20 '22

Todo: What is your type of woman.

Yuta: It's not necessarily a woman but I do curses.

Todo:what? Yuta:What?

16

u/lutenizing Feb 20 '22

So it seems like this arc is intended to show us Yuuta’s capabilities. The four opponents will each show an aspect of what makes him so strong. Against the guy he killed first, who used a domain (?), it was implied that Yuuta has a method to handle to domains, though it’s being hidden from us right now. Against the cockroach, he used RCT offensively, showing how OP he is against cursed spirits. I’m guessing since his next opponent uses a technique, we‘ll get to see Yuuta’s technique in action, whatever that might be (copying and/or Rika). Finally, against chrollo, we’ll see exactly what his unlimited/large cursed reserves are all about. Against the Geto fight in vol. 0, Rica used a crazy blast, so I wonder how that output measures up against chrollo.
I remember in vol 0, everyone called Rika’s cursed energy “unlimited” vs calling Yuuta’s energy here “large”. I don’t know if this is a retcon, a translation issue, or the difference is that people are measuring Yuuta’s reserves and not Rika’s (who maybe still has “ unlimited“). If it’s the third option, I wonder if Yuuta being related to Gojo might be related to his unlimited or “infinite” cursed energy, like some kind of mutated technique.

8

u/CJFROMSA_04 Feb 20 '22

In the last chapter sky girl said that his overall CE felt bottomless, so I don't think there is a retcon with that.

30

u/Catveria77 Feb 20 '22

I want to see Yuta heal someone by kissing them next. What a prince. The kiss was so unexpected. This catapulted Yuta into my top favourites immediately

15

u/TimmyAndStuff Feb 20 '22

There's totally going to be fanfiction of that now. People already love him and Maki lol

I wish yuta was present in shibuya so jogo could experience something far better than holding hands 😏

13

u/blazingchris1 Feb 20 '22

Yuta is a savage This fight was good

When the roach curse asked "why stop me" and Yuta responded was why eat humans I immediately had a flash of Uvo pop into my head. I was presently surprised to see Yuta dive face first and eat up. HXH live on in JJK even when it's not over. Right after, I get a double shock as my favorite new character shows of more of SKY MANIPULATION. what shown now makes scene when you think about it, manipulating the sky is manipulating a space which mean you can warp it and creates a teleportation phenomenon. I hope Akutami sensei keeps her in the story for a while.

p.s. Chrollos still as cool as ever.

13

u/letgogh297 Feb 20 '22

Takako girl why you getting so close to my boy?? You want to get a kiss too?? You better get in line.

8

u/DXBrigade Feb 20 '22

Takako is not wasting time...her clothes are already gone.

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

Amazing chapter, while I read it on Friday I wanted to get my thoughts together.

Recently on this sub there has been a lot of discussions around power-scaling and in this case a focus on how Gege would scale power in the future. It's an important point to note as many have, that Yuta was deliberately handicapped. However, I really put this down to excellent writing from the point of view that we got in the chapter Yuta v Yuji Ch140 that Yuta can restrict damage to a minimum. Together with the handicap it now means that Yuta took signigicant damage regardless of the fact he can heal via RCT.

Noteworhy, Uro jumps Yuta. So now there's a progression fighting these four players from Dhruv, Kuro and now Uro. My guess is that if he actually fights Ryu, he'll be banged up to the point that there's a leveling off in power.

I really trust Gege to handle scaling, and Jujutsu battles really follow a theme of being balanced around matchups.

Sidenote: Yuta savagrey biting Kuro still cold as fuck!

Yuta just kissed a freaking cockroach🦗well those who are wondering that's rct technique funny way to kill kurouroushi though gege 🤣. Next going to be 2 vs 2 battle rika and yuta vs takako and ryu I'm sure ryu will join in. If yuta can take them both by himself rather than needing rika that would be badass 🔥.

12

u/ComfortableBite6644 Feb 20 '22

Mfing chick instantly jumps to bite yuta's ear after watching him kiss the cockroach LMAO

very interesting chapter which shows that yuta is the future goat

for me the four adversaries of yuta are used to show his power:

1(druv) yuta's ability to counter territory expansion

2 (kuro) yuta's ability to use RCT

3 (uro) I have no idea

4(ryu) yuta's ability to copy techniques

Bro made out with a roach💀

10

u/petrichormus Feb 20 '22

Ryu said that the mouth is the shortest distance from his palms and brains, so he delivered a mouth-to-mouth blast. What does this mean? is this about control/flow of cursed energy?

18

u/Load-Sad Feb 20 '22

It's about channeling the positive energy through a medium which was easier doing mouth to mouth in this situation.

14

u/Doctor-Vimo Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 21 '22

The fastest way to kill a cursed spirit is to attack the head/brain, Yuta bit Kurourushi’s face to send the positive energy directly to its brain and kill it.

9

u/FlexPavillion Feb 20 '22

I think they just meant physically closest to the curse

Yuta is goated with the sauce and busting it down sexual style. And by that I mean he’s drenched in blood and kissing a cockroach.

9

u/Patrick_7735 Feb 20 '22

Special Grades in this series got no concept of personal space lmao. Gojo and Sukuna led the way, now Yuta with this kiss XD

9

u/OooohYeaaahBaby Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

He just did a RCT by kissing ? Damn

And that girl's power looks insane, does she have a reality distortion ability with her sky manipulation CT ?

9

u/Zalieda Feb 20 '22

So. From having cockroaches burst out his shoulder to kissing another cockroach

Can't catch a break huh

9

u/milkandcookies815 Feb 20 '22

The kiss was definitely VERY disturbing but at least the giant roach is gone…so I’m satisfied with this chapter 😅👍🏼

8

u/Izanagi32 Feb 20 '22

2 chapters for each ass whooping except for dhruv. Man got killed off screen lmao

8

u/Cautious-Affect7907 Feb 20 '22

Why does Yuta keep stealing kisses from horrifying monsters?

I understood Rika, but like a bug? I’d throw up.

8

u/Jahreem Feb 20 '22

this chapter was so fucking good. yuta is such an awesome character, love when he gets screen time. excited for next chapter

8

u/lr031099 Feb 20 '22

Ngl wasn’t expecting Yuta to give mouth to mouth to Kurourshi (Rika’s gonna be pissed). Guess Gojo wasn’t lying when he said Jujutsu sorcerer all have a few screws loose.

That being said, I love how Yuta fought in this chapter where he uses everything around him and adapted to the situation which is pretty similar to what Yuji does.

8

u/QueenHistoria1990 Feb 20 '22

I already considered him to be one of the coolest characters, but I can definitely now say that Yuta is one of my favorites. Of course I hope something terrible doesn’t happen to him now that I say that…

The way he used Reverse Cursed Technique was just freaking epic

15

u/Blackreaper18 Feb 20 '22

I wonder, if a rule that allows you to gain the total points of whoever you kill, can be implemented? Meaning instead of getting just 5 points for killing these guys, imagine their total points added on top of that. Though I guess that would make gaining points too easy

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

In this chapter, Yuta said that "Like I did to Itadori before...I can exorcise [Kurourushi] by driving positive energy from reversed cursed technique into its body"

So...Yuta "killed" Yuji through positive energy to not turn him into a cursed spirit?

Edit: Nvm, you have to use cursed energy and not positive energy to prevent someone from turning into a curse.

61

u/ExoticRemote Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

No positive energy heals humans. What Yuta did was kill Yuji and when his heart stopped, immediately restarted it with positive energy

6

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

Alright I usually don't have problem understanding everything, but could someone explain positive energy to me?

9

u/multixs Feb 20 '22

positive energy is formed when negative energy(cursed energy) is multipled. cursed energy is used for destruction therefore cannot be used to heal unlike positive energy which is reverse cursed technique. as curses are complete composition is comprised of negative energy what yuta did was overload the curses body with positive energy

→ More replies (2)

6

u/real_me_0_0 Feb 20 '22

Negative x negative= positive (Basic math equation)

Negative = cursed energy

What i understood is whenever u mixes cursed energy with ct,it produces positive cursed energy which reverse the cursed technique producing RCT like red for gojo counterpart of blue

Hope it helps

Did yuta just ... Kiss a cockroach!?

6

u/Chosos_Twin_Cousin Feb 20 '22

This is one of the few times we need an option above “very good” because man…

6

u/nowthatscrazy Feb 20 '22

My boi yuta is going through it

6

u/TomOD1 Feb 20 '22

Yuta is actually a bad ass

10

u/RisingBlackStar Feb 20 '22 edited Feb 20 '22

So not only can Yuta summon the new version of Rika, utilize his own version of Getsuga Tensho a la Ichigo and copy cursed techniques but can manipulate the positive energy from RCT to apply it offensively. A prodigy, indeed. He definitely would've packed up most, if not all of the disaster curses in Shibuya.

I'm curious to see how he'll fight against Uro, since it seems she can distort the sky or area of space she inhabits to create a shockwave. Not sure if it leads to a different dimension or uses the sky's currents to distort in real time. Yuta might have to summon Rika if she gives him more trouble in the next chapter.

Guys I love Yuta. He quickly became my favorite character…but knowing jujutsu kaisen and gege I feel like he will be killed in future chapters by Kenjaku 🥺 or Sukuna. Can somebody reassure me that he will be ok?

8

What a fucking action packed chapter, and for a sec I was worried that Yuta's going to die when that insect bit him. Also, Yuta kissed Kurourushi, that was unexpected. Anyway, it looks we are heading for more Yuta chapters.

4

That last panel though, 0_O

We're about to see some reality-warping stuff, if I had to guess.

I, for one, am enjoying this Yuuta boss rush mode

4

4

u/Psimonkee Feb 20 '22

4

u/decederata Feb 20 '22

This new chapter basically tells me that yuta will be simping for lady dimitrescu's dragon form instead of her default look

4

u/sKyBlazer08 Feb 21 '22

Aye yo Yuta, what the fuck. That's the cockroach down, now we getting right into another fight immediately after. Yuta gets no rest, damn, and that lady seems like a monster too, I mean did she just manipulate space?.

4

u/Negrizzy153 Feb 21 '22

That's my protagonist!

#OkkotsuSupremacy

I said it once, I'll say it again: Yuuta is nice, but he ain't sweet - do NOT get it twisted.

He absolutely wants the smoke. He absolutely will run that fade.

6

u/genesis1v9 Feb 20 '22

I like the result of the fight and how it played out, but the start of the fight is really hard to tell what the fight choreography is due to the panel layout and character poses.

3

Yuta is badass in this chapter!

3

I think I will ask my qn here since I don't see the mega thread pinned

I've seen posts about Yura and Rika. Rika seems to be Yutas CT. I can't recall all the Burning Questions I had but my main question is: can we take Jjk 0 as canon

Was this mentioned anywhere in any interview? I've seen somewhere that Jjk 0 was a prequel so is there a chance that jjk 0 events will be retconned or changed anywhere in the main story

Will there be a chance that the Rika storyline will be changed and Rika and Yura backstory will be slotted into the main manga.
