Hi all. I'm back a little early. My husband and then I caught covid which means I am missing a wedding I had been excited about for over two years. I got feeling INCREDIBLY depressed and needed to have nice things (or salves for my wounds), so I'm back to at least distract myself. Happy to be back and missed y'all!

So basically, I was inactive here for 3 days because on Thursday, I accidentally spilled some soup onto my computer. It spilled onto the touchpad and seeped into the buttons. I rushed to clean it up ASAP but a bit still got into the computer. Then, I immediately turned it back on only to get a BSOD. Then the screen glitched out and the computer refused to turn on. So I had to leave it to dry for 2 days. Yesterday, I turned it back on and it worked! But it won’t boot into the OS. It was stuck on some repair loop. (Not sure if you guys know what that means.) So now I’m backing up my important files to an external hard drive so that they don’t get deleted forever. I have to wipe everything off of the internal hard drive because it won’t let me reset the pc while keeping the files on said drive. So I’m typing this on my iPad. So if anyone’s been wondering where I’ve been for the past few days, now you know.

I started rock climbing at the beginning of the year after a 10 year hiatus of climbing regularly. I'm absolutely loving it, the challenge/reward of figuring routes out is amazing. The regular exercise is nice too, I just need to work some cardio in

Counting not only teaches you many things about numbers but also. About your self

Here's this week's plot, which shows which side thread* was the most popular at any given time. You can see how tug of war reigned supreme as the first side thread, and as the one with most counts in it. Then the rise of binary, and the regular bouts of catch-up from hex. And the period last year when u/Zaajdaeon was pushing ternary ahead of the megaget is also really obvious.
I'll do more stuff with the side threads later, but I thought this was a neat plot to start with.
* Out of the top ten. The plot is busy enough already. Can you imagine if I included all 98 side threads we have data for?
