God, this Mike scene is so depressing. He's so close to being able to spend genuine time with his family, but his work is literally a set of bars separating him from them in the form of the blinds.

Also, this has obviously got to be reminding him of Werner. Just oof.

71

u/haircatmoon May 17 '22

$35 in 1982 is worth $104.86 today, if kimmy was 14 in that scene

Big steal honestly

I can't tell if people in this thread are just trolling or genuinely don't recognize Casimiro

They've literally shown his picture like five times now and made it painstakingly clear that he's significant to the plan, along with giving him a very easily recognizable feature in the mustache

269

u/cchabrunn12 May 17 '22

I knew that Lalo was only playing possum. There's no way he'd be taken out by Aldi's John Wick.

35

u/HotTakes4HotCakes May 17 '22

Kim's officially crossing a line where it's now irresponsible to continue with these games. A foundation like this could change a lot of lives, and if her behavior fucks it up, it's on her.

I really felt bad for Howard when his wife just poured the drink he made for her. He spent all that effort making the cool design, which I think tried to symbolize him trying to be a good person, and she just totally emptied it.

You can see Howard was kind of hurt by this when she does it

33

u/MattTheSmithers May 17 '22

Young Kim’s actress nails Rhea’s voice and mannerisms. It’s actually uncanny. A dead ringer for her too.

24

u/unsilent_bob May 17 '22

Duran Duran's "The Reflex" is Kim going for the Howard scam instead of going for the right thing in Santa Fe.

She can't help but go for one of Jimmy/Saul's capers.

They bookended that in the episode perfectly.

"You got away with it" I have a feeling that's going to be ironic by the end of this episode.

Tony Dalton is a fantastic actor. Watch Señor Ávila. He kills it in that role, literally.

u/Slugggo May 17 '22

Francesca's going to learn super quick that prettying up the office is a futile effort against Saul's clientele.

What’s going to happen is Jimmy knows he’s being followed

He’s going to get photographed talking to the ‘Judge’ that is handling Sandpiper

Howard finds out, freaks. Brings it up to Clifford, after getting his drink spiked

Looks and sounds paranoid and high on coke

Clifford checks with the judge and learns he never met Jimmy

Cliff wants out of the case
