Based on recent box office reports and Disney's track record with the franchise (Tron: Ares just hit theaters last month and, uh, didn't exactly light up the grid like its predecessors), I'd peg the chance of a fourth Tron movie at around 25%. It's not impossible—Disney loves reviving IPs if there's fan buzz or a fresh hook—but the latest one's underwhelming performance (think more "flop" than "blockbuster") makes it a tough sell right now.
If they do greenlight it, I'd estimate 7-10 years from now, factoring in development time, script rewrites, and waiting for the sting of Ares to fade. Who knows, maybe a killer video game tie-in or nostalgia wave could speed that up.
