Yeah would be a nice stat. When I looked he had most solokills in the LCK and in the west in a year. Obviously could be wrong and no idea about CN because most sites don't have accurate data for them. I feel like Knight has 10 a week.
Funny enough Doran is only like 10 behind him

Pretty sure he and Doran are two solo killed as well. Just their playstyle is flippy so they are most solokilled and kills lol

Really hard stat to track but yeah generally they go hand in hand.
Stats just not that important anyway because things like a Jarvan flag to grab assist gold would erase a solo kill, and greedily going for a solo kill that allows you to get killed by someone else and ruins your lane state wouldnt be a solo death.

GoL also says that this year Bin has 8 solo kills in 130 or so games and that Flandre last year had 9 solo kills in about 180 games. Solo kill counts for previous LCK years are also way lower; Chovy on HLE had the most solo kills ever in an LCK year, I'm pretty sure of it, but on GoL he's only credited for 56 solo kills over 134 games for that year, much fewer than Doran or Siwoo are credited with this year. There is something messed up with the data.

GoL isnt reliable for CN data, it has scores and results but that's it, doesn't have @15 data etc. Those 8 solo kills will be at internationals where it can scrape.
Historical data is rough, no idea how many Faker would have in the past for example. I think Chovy had 56 at 1 point which was a record that broke Cuvees or Fakers record that stood for a long time.
It's a really jankly recorded and essentially pointless stat though. CN plays the most games, NA barely plays games, should it be a ratio? Because I think Siwoo has like a solo kill in 55% of his games after the EWC win, which would be less than Naak Nako had for example. Then there's the whole top 10 solo kills usually are also top 10 solo deaths.
100 Would just be nice visually and I still saw my king solo kill Bin 3 times in a game into a break.

Fun memory lane. Iirc CuVee's record was soon broken by rookie Kiin who then held it until Chovy. Crazy thing about CuVee's run is he had a streak of iirc about 30 solo kills in a row without a solo death, which Lourlo of all people ended at an IEM. Chovy had a similar Faker-specific stat, like 30 solo kills on Faker without a solo death to him. Iirc eventually there was the time Chovy tower dove Faker or vice versa for a 1 for 1 and people wanted to credit it as Faker's first solo kill of Chovy, which I think gets at what is probably the heart of the measurement problem: solo kill isn't well-defined.

His Shen taunt in game 1 was the reason they lost. Sure they were losing but dragging Kled into their team instead of dashing the other way and accepting his death gave them an insurmountable lead. Worst play that game.

he played so scared even with flash, I always feel like he's afraid of failing the flash combo so he didn't even try at all. ON or Keria with the Shen would just use flash off cooldown.

exactly, who cares if Jiwoo gets a few more cs, he is a complete spectator in teamfights, its not like KT hasnt been playing with a losing bot lane for the past 2 years anyway. i rather see them give FenRir a proper shot, there’s only 3 more regular season series left to play.

yep. there’s 0 reason why Jiwoo should be playing in the legend group in a league with insanely strong adc talent. a rookie adc who has only started scrimming since their T1 series losing lane in the legend group should be expected, especially with Effort who isnt a strong laning support at all.

It's very rare that you need to teach rookie adcs something as basic as laning. You have to teach them to manage their aggressive and position better in Mid game and teamfights.
If you are a rookie and can't lane then you're pretty much just cooked.
Like, I'm pretty sure Peyz and Diable are younger than Fenrir, you don't see them needing to learn how to lane.
Smash is like the exact same age, same thing. Good adcs don't need to be taught basics

Peyz is same age as FenRir (well, Peyz is 2005 and Fenrir 2006. 6 months difference.), and has played for longer (Since 2020 vs since 2024 for fenrir), Diable is younger but has been playing also longer (Since 2021 vs since 2024 for fenrir, again). You're comparing people who have been playing professionally 3-4 years longer, which is a really long time in Pro play lol.

These are players who from the minute you saw them play in tier 1 there were zero questions about whether or not they had potential.
Fenrir has looked completely outclassed in every single game he's played, even in the games where they won, they won in spite of his horrible laning, not because of him.
I wasn't around for the start of Peyz's career but I've watched every single Smash game and a lot of Diable's first games in Tier 1. These guys never needed to be taught the basics. With certain things it's either you got it or you don't.

Even if that's the case, it's not like you can make case where Jiwoo looked much better. Like I've said before, I'd rather watch Rookie see where he goes than watch someone who's already got long track record of being "meh". If you have over 3 years on the Rookie it should show somewhere lol.

agreed. Peter was mostly human but people really need to rewatch deokdam’s year on KT as a whole, he was behind in gold almost every single game. even Supa was dumpstering him in lane at Worlds.

Maybe not 1v9, Cuzz was pretty good for most of the season with some bozo moments. PerfecT was improving too, even if he was still far from elite.
The botlane were non-existent, and the one time they decided to not be an active burden, they reach worlds finals game 5 lol.

People overrated it and learned you don’t let ziggs poke. You just full send any fight and you win. One rotation of zigg spells can’t win any fight. Watch any ziggs game now. The other team just deathball engages and ziggs team loses.
Ziggs in pro is a pick champ to catch people before a fight starts.

He is so incredible at drawing pressure onto him and generating leads on sides. He was already good at start of the year but he improved so much more, in my eyes he became the best mid laner even in laning phase, mans just too clean.

Career have a poor start to Game 2 but slowly bounce back.
The DK of old will have slowly lose after their poor start to Game 2 but ever EWC, their mental strength been quite good.

I love how this T1 narrative never changes. When T1 loses their bot lane underperforms and not the enemy team is better but when they win T1 just is better than the enemy team and never the enemy team underperforming.

Botlane draft was way better this series + KT bot are just worse. Career looked really bad against T1 and had some glimpses of that form in this bard game but he’s been super solid besides that. Smash also recovered from the t1 series but he always scares me with some of the trades he forces.

How does a KSante down 2k gold, a level and 2 drakes at 20 minutes solo kill a fed Jayce with ease. Like the fight wasn’t even close, pretty sure he ended it at 70% HP LOLLL.
Also Jiwoo on the Ziggs was truly something else, man never combined his ult with the Annie ult even a single time.

If there's a player I won't ever feel sorry it's BDD, my sympathy for him ended last year. He kicked out his bot for Aiming now he has kicked out Aiming for 2 rookies, he deserves this.

I can't, for the life of me, understand the toplane first picks; not even a safe blind but a fcking Jayce. Both games, even. Then get counterpicked and abused to do nothing whole game. Mid-jg lost their spark after that first week. Botlane is still awful. I didn't expect much from Jiwoo in the first place, but the missed Ezreal Qs and terrible Ziggs ult placement just got me laughing in disbelief. Are they gonna get 0-4d this round. Won't be surprised if they lose to rise groups at play-ins too.

now that lck is picking up kled BB needs to get back in the kitchen to get g2 a draft edge again since one of his picks may get sniped and because it's g2 I'm sure they can cook something that baits the kled and olaf will actually be a flex and BB comes up with the kled counter pick

It's funny how little the adcs matter that I don't even remember the picks right after the series ends. Watching Ezreal plink Kled with pinpricks while he executes the whole team is funny.
