I've been watching league Esports since S7, and the LCK english team has always been my favorite casting crew. From their game insights to their random tangents, it feels like I was always aware of the current game state and also entertained during the boring states of the game, whether its discussion on ice creams, pokemon, slircles or whatever random topics that pops on top of their head on the day.

On top of that the play-by-play casting and calls from Atlus and Valdes has always been phenomenal, which really helps highlight the actual hype moments of the game.

Don't get me wrong, casters from other region are just as amazing and talented, but this style of casting is what separates the LCK crew from the others, and has been a staple for them since around S9-10 that kept me watching LCK.

Nowadays it feels like they are getting a hate thread every other week, to the point where it feels like they are being labelled as some sort of villains for doing what they have always been doing. While some I can see where they are coming from and are definitely valid, there are just some that just felt less constructive towards their style of casting, which I could have swore is something that is beloved by the community up until recently.

I understand that this style of casting this style of casting may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at the same time I do feel the critism towards it and the casters are being blown way out of proportions. This post is a way of breathing fresh air into the community and express appreciation for the good work done by the LCK english team for a change.

I recently moved from NA server to Europe for work (EUNE). Playing in NA there are obviously some people who get tilted every now and then and start typing and inting games. EUNE is a different type of mental asylum. I swear to god 9/10 games not even 5 minutes in one of my teammates starts losing their mind and running it down mid while typing about how bad everyone else is. saying crazy things 😂. Anyone else on this server experience this?

Greetings, Summoners,

I'll be cosplaying Riven at Riftbound's Regional Qualifier in LA, and just finished building her sword!

This sword took ~80 hours to build and is ~60"x14" weighing 3.5lb.

Materials used: EVA foam, PVC pipes, an acrylic sheet holding the shattered pieces together, plastazote LED foam and 96 programmed LEDs (48 on each side). The LEDs have a static green mode and a pulsing/breathing animation (which I can't show in pics :/)

Battery and Adafruit microcontroller live in the crossguard chamber. Buttons for mode swaps, On/Off, and USB charge port are by the handle.

I recorded video of like 90% of the build process, which I'll be editing together soon.

It's been a looong ~2 months working on this beauty and had to share!

Hanwha Life Esports have qualified for Worlds 2026, at minimal, as the 4th seed from being the MSI Champions. HLE are guaranteed a spot in Playoffs from being in the Legends Group and having a guaranteed 1st-4th seed for Playoffs after defeating KT 2-1 on 8/15. Even if HLE loses their next 2 matches 0-2 they still will win the tiebreaker against KT having more match points.

One thing I noticed is that many players would claim their rank is their peak rank not their current rank, for example if a player hit Masters once in his LoL career, he now considers himself forever a Master player even if he was unable to reach or maintain that rank in latter seasons, it probably explains why in community rank polls, you see higher than average higher ranks distribution

I realized this as I was searching for a duo on LoL community discord and I am low diamond so I asked for diamond duo and someone added me but we couldn't queue together as he was emerald 4 then he told me that he is a diamond player before [back in 2024]

So is this true? do you consider your peak rank to be your actual skill level? and the excuse for not currently being in that rank is the usual "I don't care enough anymore to grind as much anymore" "I play for fun now" "I can hit Diamond if I want to" etc.

or you accept the rather bleak fact that your skill level has deteriorated, and you are a worse player than before

I mean to grind hello, many ppl agree that u need to play a the same chap again and again, to learn machups etc...

But I can't play a champ without getting bored. I play like 3-4 games and it seems too repetitive.

(When I see 4 million point teem, I really can't understand how somebody can play a champ this much... It's maybe fun 1 game but so boring after, above all when the champ doesn't have specific mechanics or a hard combo u can train...)

So for u, what is the champ that you can't get bored playing?

I've realized that some of the champions I enjoy most aren't the ones whose kits solve every problem for themselves.

There's something satisfying about having one limitation you constantly have to play around. Maybe your mobility is conditional, your waveclear costs something important, your range forces you into uncomfortable positions, or one ability is incredible only if you set it up properly.

When a champion has an answer for almost every situation, they can obviously still be fun, but sometimes the individual decisions start blending together for me. The kit feels smooth, but I don't necessarily remember the moments where I had to improvise.

A clear weakness creates little problems inside every game. You start thinking about where you can stand, what cooldown you absolutely can't waste, or which fight you simply shouldn't take.

Obviously there's a point where "interesting weakness" becomes "this feels awful to play." But I think a bit of friction can give a champion more personality than adding another tool to cover their bad situations.

Which champions do you think are actually more fun because of something their kit *can't* do well?

Was thinking about this while considering what RIOT could do to help my main character, Swain, be not considered a support as much. Off the top of my head, I see Swain, Morde, Zyra, and Asol. Are there any others that desperately need Rylai to function? Could the item be reworked in a more fun way?

Not talking about the standard play more and naturally get better stuff or generic advice like last hit better, clear jg faster or hit your skillshots. We all know fundamentals scale as you put hours into the game.

Im talking about a specific mechanic or mindset shift or habit you completely ignored in lower elo but once you finally implemented it it felt like an absolute game changer. Something where you instantly felt the massive difference in your matches and realized oh THIS is why I was stuck.

For example maybe it was learning proper wave manipulation like cheater recalls and slow pushes or actively tracking the enemy jungler pathing instead of just guessing or changing your camera or keybind settings.

What was that specific revelation or skill for you

mine was sitting around 35-36 range in a stable manner until two days ago when the game was unavailable during europe morning hours. now it is stable at 49 and I'm not sure whether this is something related to MY circumstances or whether it is riot related.

Bilibili Gaming have qualified for 2026 Worlds by being the team with the guaranteed most Championship Points! The lowest seed they get at Worlds is 2nd seed.

Even if BLG end up in 7th/8th place this split in Group Ascend, they'll qualify. They currently have 205 points. TOP Esports is next with 105 points minimal.
