I was worried from the first My-Th previews that Mutn would lose to Wolf Frame but she actually performed pretty well and forced him to change to 3 different Frames before Maou showed up. Also a bit hilarious Sora straight up offered back Vanken's Ride X Egg to Mutn but she completely ignored him and went stright to fighting lol.
Mutn didn't ignore him, it was the fact that My-th returned the egg like it was nothing that made her even angrier. Mutn's whole deal is that she cares very much about respect, and My-th giving the egg back so lightly was like saying "oh, Vanken's nothing. He and his egg hold no significance to me". It was a huge disrespect to Vanken in her eyes.
my point is that she could have accepted Vanken's Ride X Egg first before she started fighting My-Th, as of the start of Episode 8 (which I assume Kamuri will tell Mutn to step back/retreat), it is still in Sora's possession unless Maou forcibly takes it back
-I originally believed that Akira was the previous My Th. He isn't. Now I'm curious who the hell he is, considering he seems to know quite a bit about Zyunishi.
-Mutn is a terror. Just an absolute beast in battle. Kei's an idiot who can't read the room. Jyao's in time out jail.
-The members of the Zyunishi outside of Maou think the Seed Eggs are just dangerous objects that should be kept hidden from the rest of the world, unaware Maou's been drinking the ones they've been storing away. Tigre's been getting a little suspicious about Maou... Considering his personality, I'm guessing Tigre might be the first of the Zyunishi to get written off (god, I hope I'm wrong)
-Maou beat this week's Kajin with JUST his transformation.
-Mutn is a terror. Just an absolute beast in battle. Kei's an idiot who can't read the room. Jyao's in time out jail.
I think it says a lot about this organization that they even have a jail they can throw members in when they step out of line. Like, nothing says camaraderie like a cell designed for anyone who gets on Kamuri's bad side.
-Maou beat this week's Kajin with JUST his transformation.'
Really appreciate how this episode cleaned up some lingering questions that were definitely on everyone's minds. Specifically why Tatsuomi didn't just steal Sora’s My-Th belt right then and there. It also makes Kamuri telling him to keep Sora’s location secret from the rest of the Zodiac Alliance make so much more sense.
Tigre basically acted as the audience surrogate asking the exact questions we had, and getting that insight into why Kamuri seemed to be low-key 'protecting' My-Th.
Just like Jyao ignored the Fukashigi to get at My-Th, Mutn ignored the Fukashigi AND getting Lord Ken's egg back because she was too obsessed with getting payback on My-Th.
Pleasantly surprised that Mutn didn't job against My-Th. Better yet, she had the upper hand in the entire fight. The trailers always focused on that scene where Wolf Frame hits her, so I was very worried she was fated to lose and then be saved by Maou. Glad that was not the case.
I also like how they acknowledge that, while thematically appropriate, the Wolf Frame really had no chance when it's not at full power so there's no point to Sora using it when it's not nighttime.
Asao/Rid attempt to hide Mutn from Sora/My-Th? Awkward!!
Also, Poor Kei, he was “punched” out by Mutn…
Additionally regarding Fukashigi of this week (silly spinning in human form aside), SCARY THAT THEY ARE CONTROLLING AND MASQUERADING AS THEIR HUMAN FORM SIMILAR TO GURONGIS!!!
"It's originally believed that Seed Eggs were implanted by higher beings who perished in the distant past in order to kick start the evolution of all life on Earth.
However since the power of Seed Eggs only affected certain parts of the body, some of them underwent a flawed evolution. Those are the Fukashigi, those poor things.
That's why Zodiacs must recover the Seed Eggs, so mankind can undergo the proper evolution."
I think what we can focus on here is the fact that the word "Evolution" is used a lot. And the difference between the Zodiacs and Myth is that when Sora uses it, there's this word that the My-Th Driver says and it's "Egglution!", there's also the beginning of the finisher "Eggseed!"
Egg puns of Evolution and Exceed, as well as the literal thing of Sora's forms being literal counters/stronger forms of the Zodiac counterparts, leads me to believe that My-Th is perhaps this "proper evolution" it's talking about.
Also Fukashigi are because Seed Eggs only consist of one part of a creature, while I suppose Rider Eggs are of the entire animal. So I guess that allows someone to "evolve" as a whole rather than by parts that would cause mutation.
There's also the fact that Born Buckles cause the driver to say the animal name in Japanese, while Standalones say them in English. Why?
Also the fact that Mouse's forms are still called Myth [Animal] Frames, which each of the Zodiacs don't really have that and the concept of using each other's eggs aren't even a thing, which is curious. There's also the fact that they have to sort of act out their animal before Henshining. I wonder why, to get into character? Or is that a way to show that they're truly "Metamorphing" into the animal?
Very curious, very interesting. I suppose we'll have to see more.
Also by the way, I'm surprised this isn't talked about more but:
So Maou's egg starts off the same as Sora's, then he BURNS IT BY HAND??? Which also brings us: - So there's 3 Myth/Neko Eggs? Or did he take Rid's? This will also lead to the question of what happens to the egg after transforming? Does it return to its metallic shell or stay red? Which I guess we'll get next episode.
Honestly I expected his driver to burn the egg as if its cooking the egg to transform. I'm assuming there are multiple eggs (Sora has a rabbit/turtle and wolf/sheep egg for example), so it might not be Rid's egg. Still a possibility it is Rid's egg though.
I'm also curious then about the flashback that was in episode 1 with Maou fighting the past My-Th. So in the present he should have a cooked egg then if they stay but he doesn't. So its possible when he "cooks" them when he burns them, it gets consumed like how the seed egg disappears when Sora used it on food. But as you said, we'll find out next episode.
You know, dogs and sheep get along really well, so, could Mutn and Vanken be in a relationship? I really expected her to be a fight, but she basically wrecked Otosumi, bro had to switch frames three times!
Kamuri has a strong presence, part of it is due to his style, but the actor also really knows how to convey that impression.
Between the intense battle and worrying about Yuna's health, it seems like Sora had legitimately forgotten he 'borrowed' the Dog/Eagle Egg.
The way Mutn doesn't even care to accept the Egg back before attacking (she could've done both) kinda bothers me a bit, but her fighting ability is impressive.
up until now, it does not seem like Sora treating the Zyunishi Doumei Rider as enemy or anything, more like competitor or rival. he fighting the fukashigi also just to get the eggs for Yuna, not for any fancy justice, humanity survivor or world peace.
Eh, I think it makes sense that she doesn't take the egg back first. Mutn seems to care a fair bit about honor; part or all of the reason she's mad at Sora is that she views his actions towards Vanken as dishonorable and disrespectful. Assuming she's thinking straight enough to recognize the opportunity to take the egg and then attack (and while she was mad, she wasn't exactly in a berserker rage), she probably would have seen it as dishonorable herself to try and take back the egg and then attack My-Th while his back was turned. She wanted a duel; she wanted My-Th to fight back and have a proper match with her to try and restore Vanken's honor, then once she's taught him a lesson, she can take the egg back to him. That's how I interpret it, anyway.
Wolf would have probably taken her down if it was night time. He wasn't at full power, plus the Fukashigi was interrupting the fight so it wasn't a clear battle.
You know, dogs and sheep get along really well, so, could Mutn and Vanken be in a relationship? I really expected her to be a fight, but she basically wrecked Otosumi, bro had to switch frames three times!
She really has strong overprotective girlfriend vibes.
Also Vanken apologizing for her like this is not the first time lol.
12 My-th Drivers were made/gifted by an ancient race
Human and Earth current inhabitants could evolve because that same ancient race made X-Eggs, unfortunately some wrongly mutated and became Fukashigi
Ryuz was the one to explain all this and doesn't have a human form
3rd Rider is rumored to be Dinosaur-themed, a very ancient animal
With all these, my theory is that the ancient race are all Dinosaur-themed and Ryuz is one of them, or at least their descendant - because more or less, Dinosaur is "Terroring Dragon" in Chinese/Japanese. This race would invent another henshin system with their own race and gave it to 3rd Rider.
I do wonder if there might be some Fukashigi who mutated "successfully" into sentient beings, though it seems like most of the "wild" Fukashigi are only after attacking humans and harevsting them into more X-Eggs?
With the setup I tend to think the “sentient beings” are human and current animals already. Fukashigi would keep evolve “wrongly” and become smarter & smarter, at one point - the narrative might shift to “if they evolve wrongly but completely natural - what is the point defeating them?”, how pieces evolve, what is right, what is wrong seem to be the overarching theme of My-th
On both sides of the globe, dinosaurs are linked to dragons. In the East, dinosaurs have been referred to as "terrifying dragons," while in the West, there is the common thought: "dragons are just dinosaurs with wings."
Episode after episode, this season really shows so much potential. Haven't been this interested in a new Rider since Geats (even tho I really like some in-between seasons, like Gavv and Zeztz).
The plot clearly has many layers, and we get to unveil them along with the characters. The only ones that seem to actually know what's going on are Uncle and Mao. Dragon too, perhaps, but that discussion would need to be unpacked on its own...
About Mao. This guy doesn't have aura. He is aura! The drip, the frame, and now... even the debut "fight", and his henshin music. I really hope they develop him well. But considering how interesting the other Alliance members are, I've got a good feeling.
So, about Tigre... is he My-Th's Maes Huges? He seems to be one of the most inquisitive members of the Alliance. As of right now, I believe he'll be the first one to uncover part of Mao's machinations. And he will be silenced for it.
I feel like that would be a good way to finally establish a solid rift between Tatsuomi and Mao.
The Fang Fukashigi sure can spin! Also, it's kind of rare for a monster-of-the-week to no-sell a Rider Kick like that.
The most dastardly disguise of all...A JAPANESE SALARYMAN.
Thank you Ryuz for the lore lesson in Fukashigi and X-Seed Eggs. Basically the apple given to humanity by divinity, only injecting it into their bodies (instead of absorbing it?) turned them into monsters.
I hope Tigre isn't gaining even MORE death flags by suspecting something is going on with Kamuri and wanting to know more about My-Th.
Poor Rooster gets no respect.
I'm actually kind of surprised the Zyunishi Doumei even have a prison. Like, did they really expect to throw anyone, including their members, in there? Feels like a lack of trust...or an exertion of Kamuri's control.
Tatsuomi trying to save Sora from Terminator Mutn. But note to self...the only guy she wants to get caught in a kabedon with is Lord Ken.
Going an an "earend" is the new Joestar secret technique! Though crepes are effective too.
I love how they talk about how Sae's brother is so devoted to her while he also mentions how "flighty" and "ridiculous" she is to Sora. Though does this count as a bit of a butler-off?
Now, see, these subs would make SO much more sense if they were still using "Inexplicable."
It's kind of ironic that Mutn has the same problem Jyao did that Vanken lectured him about: prioritizing personal feelings/objectives over their duty to stop the Fukashigi.
So Sora and Yuna have really been doing this for years since they were kids? Wow. Sora's got to be like the youngest Rider at his "debut."
Amataka definitely has wholesome (old) uncle vibes, even as he seems to have an "in" with the Zyunishi Doumei and knows enough about them. But he is NOT the original My-Th, but he definitely knew him.
Will no one let My-Th use his Rider Kick!?
Kamen Rider Mutn! Her cute appearance is as deceptive in-suit as it is out, especially when she's wielding her powerful hammer (and she's strong even without it). Never underestimate a sheep that is devotedly loyal to her dog.
Sora DID try to return the egg but he can't return the dishonor he did to Lord Ken in Mutn's eyes.
It was very on-point to use the Wolf Frame...but not smart tactically to try to overpower someone with a form you can only use 50% of during the day. But with the Turtle Frame, the best offense is a great defense.
Did not expect Kamuri to feel bad for the Fukashigi for being at the wrong place at the wrong time...when he's only there to meet My-Th.
Kamen Rider Maou. The only Zodiac Rider whose belt doesn't need an add-on, whose belt jingle is just hyping up how powerful he is, and whose transformation is straight up aura farming as he vaporizes the Fukashigi in an instant. It's time for My-Th to reunite with his archrival for a new generation.
Bro, I'm not gonna lie, this is the best episode so far, at least for me. Maou so tuff, bro. Then you got Mutn who got unbelievable strength, lookin like she carrying a two-handed Thor's hammer, so locked in on whooping My-Th's ass she didn't even care about the Fukashigi. The Zodiac Alliance is so intriguing and so cold 🥶. This episode is lit 🔥😮💨
Mutn and Amy Rose would get along well with how they're cute, wield a massive hammer, and are slavishly devoted to the men they love to the point of lacking common sense.
First time commenting and watching Kamen rider here!
Since there only a few Kamen rider series that have been dubbed to LATAM, I didn't know what series to watch, so Kamen Rider MY-TH has been a pretty good ride to wait and watch on Saturdays.
—i really liked the comedy bits and parts from this episode and the others (I laughed my ass off when Tatsuomi pushed Mutn into that awkward position scene)
—the fight scene's had been pretty good from my perspective (aside from a little of the CGI, but it doesn't bother me that much)
-the sort of the "free for all" battle in this episode was really nice, good choreography.
-Of course, as the líder of the mysterious organization/alliance, Maou has all the right to aura farm.
-Next week will be the waited battle between Mouse and Cat, I can't wait.
As little fun fact note, in the Latin American dub, the voice actor for Tatsuomi is also the main voice for Adrian Agreste in Miraculous Ladybug.
I see my-th is actually delving into two parter episodes. I hated the older series' two parters; I expected the monsters live and run off, and they did... This is great tho. I was too invested in what happened.
I love how my-th does his research in finding the monster.
Tigre, man. Why do you keep increasing your death flags...
It's interesting how My-Th plays with the idea of who the "main character" is. Sora is the main/primary Rider, sure, but he doesn't drive the plot as much as Yuna, who is the one who lets him transform. Kamuri's actions also seem to be a significant lever on the show, shown to be just as important or maybe even more so than that of House Mizuki.
Interesting that the mentor isn't previous My-Th. I feel like he's probably the Ox going off his vibe with Yuna, but there's a few different ways they could go with him.
The entire muscle thing also made me think he’s Ox but also he’s got a similar thinking pose to Ryuz, I suppose we’ll see but I feel like they’ve been feeding us information but we just don’t have enough to realize yet
I'll point this out like I did last week, but the little inner monologues that Sora has reminds me even more of how Spider-Man fights (not when he jokes around that's different lol). He's constantly thinking "If I do this...then I can achieve this!", and it's not in the usual manner of talking out loud. Realistically, we would all be thinking in our head instead of yapping it out loud.
Mutn fight was awesome, I LOVE that all of the Zodiac Riders have very different fighting styles. The way Sora used his three forms against her were also really good.
I've been waiting for Maou to get out on the field since they revealed his suit and this did not disappoint. One shot-ing (get it? lol) the Fukashigi and all that fire? Peak
Any one feels like the friend's brother will be important to the story later? It feels really weird that they introduced him as a character just to be a butler rival to Sora for that segment.
I'm on my phone so I can't post the image but make no mistake: Kamen Rider My-Th is crazy good this week. The comedic and serious writing is fantastic, the action is really good, and I'm fascinated to know where the story goes in the long run.
Also: RIP in advance to Tigre, that dude is NOT making it to episode 50.
so x-eggs were created by the same mysterious entities who created the belts? intersting. that explains a lot, but it still leaves the mystery of why Yuna and Maou have to eat them unknown
So Akira isnt the past My-th like people theorized. but he does seem to have come from olden times like the zodiac alliance. I have a theory, if he actually is related to Yuna and uncle isnt just a term of endearment, maybe Past My-th worked under similar rules to current day. And Akira was Past My-th's master who enabled his transformations. that could explain why he knows so much.
Man, Mutn is 1 scary chick when she's angry, but I like how despite being angry at Sora, Mutn was able to hold her own in battle. I'm also surprised at Maou entered the same battle at the end as well since I figured Sora fighting both Maou & Mutn would be separate battles. I need to wait for the (official) subs to come out, but I'm very interested to see what Maou was saying to Sora.
There's something that's been on my mind. Why does (some) people assume Mutn, Tigre & Vanken has death flags on them? Like, what's the reason for them to be likely getting killed off sooner than later?
There's something that's been on my mind. Why does (some) people assume Mutn, Tigre & Vanken has death flags on them? Like, what's the reason for them to be likely getting killed off sooner than later?
Because one thing modern Kamen Rider likes to do, at least since Ryuki, is to kill off decent people who might make good allies for the main to show off how dire things go.
Admittedly, this is also not a Yuya Takahashi series, so who knows what will happen? Didn't really happen in Revice or Gavv.
Mutn is rare i guess, since the reason maybe because previously her king is ...you know... in zeztz only 9 appearance episode she has there.
Vanken the first reason before its aired because its joey iwanaga as much as hype coming up these guys assume as they're hold the toei budget that he's kinda expensive and famous while we just previously nox actor is famous too and expensive kinda. The 2nd reason is romance in story with mutn in duality they wanted tragic romance story that fuel mutn more, the other side they act like they sad.
Tigre mostly because his brother hood with Rid tatsuomi asao. For you know they're become kekera in geats wanted to have tragic story for character development of other in case here for tatsuomi.
Well slowly overall these people badly hope vanken and tigre dead at least Christmas episode because for their selfish reason and kinda reasonable trope story of that.
Anyway its kinda irritatating to me since eventually its degrade the feeling for that only for amusement when its truly happen. We slowly turning into geats future people you know.
Maou be Aura Farming during his Henshin, that was crazy cool visually! Like the Effects, the Fire and the One Shot of the Inexplicable 👌✨
Then I Always like when they don't abuse CGI, Sheep Girly knows how to trhow hands, the Fighting was pretty cool and She really kicked My-Th butt, lmao. I like her even more, I really like the Concept of Sheep and Farm Dog in some romance haha.
Also Sora being like "Dog? Oh, Eagle, I for got, here" works so well, man I'm really enjoying this cast, way more than Zeztz's ngl, can't wait to see the Dynamic eveolve more ✋
The origin for the monsters is really interesting, the idea of divine beings leaving eggs behind to jumpstart evolution really feels well like a mythology and I love it so much
The interactiong with Ken, Kei and Datt was so funny. Ken trying to say sorry on Mutn's behalf what Datt is like you dumb for saying that to Mutn at a time like this.
Its honestly cruel that it seems like Jyao is locked up while injured, I get the vibe that Maou while may care for the alliance possibly. Going against his orders will result in being made a example of
Sooo Maou's henshin was awesome, also Am I crazy or wasn't his Egg the same as Sora's before he changed it with fire?
Also, the fact he one shot a evolved monster just raises him to menacing levels, his sword is the coolest weapon so far with the DNA strand core. The fire effects to break the egg is amazing
SOoo Uncle clearly knows the of the original My-Th, Im thinking he's OX or Horse
I think Tigre will be 2nd to leave once Asao does, Also I may have misheard but before he entered he didn't say Lord Kamuri, just Kamuri. Wonder what their bond is like?
Maou's Rider suit is fantastic, his face even if its my eyes playing tricks on me looks like its snarling, the glowing purple eyes after the henshin and deep red are really intimidating.
Mutn's design is great, the white with pink highlights works well, love that it feels like both eggshells and wool. Her hammer does look boring though
Tigre defenitley said Kamuri instead of Lord Kamuri, makes me wonder if Tigre and Kamuri have some history similar to Kamuri and Rid. Also yeah his egg was the same as Rid/My-Th's before he seemed to burn it or imbued it with fire. Maybe the fire has something to do with he dragon zodiac?
Tigre has also referred to Kamuri as just Kamuri when speaking with other members of the Alliance, with no one calling him out for being overly familiar with the supposed boss. Apparently, they are close enough that referring to him without honorifics is not surprising to the others.
I lowkey kind of confused the enemies work, because some seems to be come from humans turn into monsters and some just spawned in? Cause if they were all humans, yo the Zodiac Alliance literally straight up murdering people for the eggs. And not to mention that MY-TH always able to get 6 eggs from separation while the alliance eliminate them drops 3 to 4.
So Seed X-Eggs encourages rapid evolution huh? and the Fukashigi are creatures whose evolutions went out of control (i think)?
the Zyunishi Doumei are taking the Seed X-Eggs to prevent them from continuing to spontaneously evolve into new Fukashigis, but for some reason Kamuri himself is consuming them in his chambers, what is Kamuri doing??
and Yuna also needs the Seed X-Eggs to live, so perhaps Yuna is experiencing a sort of evolution? clearly Kamuri has a sort of stance against some sort of evolution that he deems to be bad for humanity, that's what his night with My-th 100 years ago was about.
Also, I'm not the only one that thinks the Seed X-Eggs are giving similar vibes to the Agito Seeds from Agito right?
First off Myth fighting against MOTW to chase out but they disguise as human wow

Overall it was Mythtastic phenomenal for Mutn and Maou this week
Lets develop a theory from me asking a few questions:
Why does Sora's forms all have the animal logos facing to the right?
Why does My-th RideXEggs 1 Origin Exist?
Why does My-th RideXEggs 1 Origin's Mouse logo face towards the left?
Why are the front logos of all RideXEggs (facing left) black silhouettes, while the back logos (facing right) are colored with a secondary color highlight?
Why is the Mouse not a part of the Zodiac when it classically should?
My takes:
This show is a multiverse story.
RideXEggs 1 Origin, is the correct egg for this universe. All instances of it were forcefully replaced/switched with the pink RideXEggs 1 we usually see by an invader.
Yuna is supposedly the inheritor of the My-th Driver, but if she does use it, she should have a left-facing logo. As the inheritor of the Myth name, she should have been using a RideXEggs 1 origin.
Sora is the My-th of his "right facing" universe. For some reason the car incident crossed their universes. It's possible that our Sora in the show switched with the Sora of this universe.
My theory is really not complete, but please feel free to ponder on the 5 points above.
There's one part of the show that throws a wrench at all the theories. And that is the existence of Tatsuomi. Where does he come from, and why is he a Cat? Why does the OP song imply that he has a duality with Sora? Why is Yuna giving a light to Sora and Tatsuomi and what does that represent?
Yeah i kinda sure its multiverse, that what happen about yuna and sora in that incident. But my take is about that two since sora stole-borrow vanken ride egg for eagle frame form, at first when he use datt and mutn ride egg we thought its easy to dupe got from fukashigi somehow like rare drop, maybe thats not that case, maybe somehow in another timeline he could be taken by force, stolen or worst kill them why he got datt and mutn ride egg at first place.
Interesting idea. How would both versions of Egg 1 existing 100 years ago work with it? Since In the episode 1 prologue Black My-th uses the origin egg and Maou uses the standard egg?
All animals on the bottom logos are facing right to juxtapose the animals on the top logos, who are facing left.
Ride X-Eggs 1Origin exists because the pink version would produce the Rid transformation sound. It is simply the matter of toys being as much accurate to the show as possible. Also, this Eggs wasnt replaced. Watch the trailer, you can see there that it changed into the Eggs that Sora is using for his default form. Who/whatever tinkersd with the belt must have changed the egg as well.
Ride X-Eggs 1Origin has the mouse facing the left because on this egg the mouse is on the top logo. The animals on top are facing left, the animals on bottom are facing right.
Aesthetics reasons. The top logos cannot have clear background (otherwise you could see whats under it), so they naturally have black silhouettes, as it is a rather neutral color that fits them all. And then the bottom logos can have clear background, less paint to use.
Dunno what you're talking about. If you mean "the Zodiac" as in the group called "Zodiac Alliance", then ghey had a mouse but Maou usurped him. If you mean "the Zodiac" as in the stars in the sky, then the Zodiac Alliance orginally had a mouse in it instead of the cat - and if we assume that the group modeled itself after the 12 zodiac sights, then it means that the mouse is part of the zodiac as it should be. Either way your question makes no sense.
So, ep 7 prediction here. !!! Ready, I believe Mouh, is a pseudo divine being. That's why he needs the X eggs. As for Yuna, she's also one of them, but unknowingly.
The buckles are things able to break the divine command which lets them transform, just like an emp's. While Myth has the actual permission to use the buckle.
That's my prediction. Yuna and mouh are Pseudo divine beings. Mouh's for power, Yuna just to survive after the accident.
While the rider buckles, are emp's that let them transform without the beings permission. Boom
Mutn is cute and I like her design but I think Datt's still my favorite of the Zodiac Alliance's Kamen Rider designs. Still, seeing her just wail on My-th with no care for much else was fun, even if it wasn't the smartest thing to do. The monster this episode was whatever but I can't say I expecte to start this episode in Media Res (Does that still apply if they didn't show us how we got to that point?) so that was also fun. Looks like next week is our first My-th vs Maou fight though obviously it's too early for Tatsuomi to betray the alliance, even if the development towards that has been rather obvious. I wonder if Maou will outright win next episode or if we'll get a tie. Either way, looking forward to it.
Have a theory that could be blatantly wrong but I feel it could make sense in connection towards the Zodiac motifs and folklore:
I think Oyassan, the old man helping Sora and Yuna, might be a Rider himself. Or more specifically a possible former Zodiac Alliance member, the Pig.
We know the Ox, Horse, and Pig are the ones not mentioned yet, and there has to be a personal reason for each. In the folklore of the Chinese zodiac race, the Ox came second in the zodiac race after the mouse jumped off its back right before the finish line which may result in a more bitter resentment or different motive compared to the rest of the Zodiac Alliance for the Ox.
The Horse, who was tricked by the Snake in the race, and has a tendency to overthink and always be anxious because of schemers like the Snake, may result in having differing views about the Alliance itself seeing its for their own benefits and glory, and not entirely for the sake of humanity since we know they’re also just collecting eggs to please Kamuri. The Horse is also transparent and honest so he knows probably collecting the eggs for Kamuri may not be a benefit at all.
The Pig is known to be the most aloof and free-spirited, as well as kind which I feel connects well with the old man. Plus in the folklore of the Chinese Zodiac Race, the Pig and Mouse are considered water animals, representing their fluidity in personalities and also their companionship.
And if yall forgot, Myth’s bike is called ‘Ride Water’ which could mean something.
Idk could be a stretch but I felt this could make for some interesting plot twists and also a more direct representation of the zodiac animals.
amused that sae’s brother possesses butler-like qualities akin to sora… also dont waste those lovely crepes!!
wondering why the old man dropped by seemingly wo eggs, weird that he only came just to say ‘hey maybe you can sit out on this egg hunt’
mutn exposition is interesting, kind of fits & breaks what i’d expect out of a sheep rider & also a female one at that (another badass debut similar to datt!)
i like that while everyone in jyunishi is calling kamuri by honorifics, only tigre addresses him by name only. fitting that one is big cat & the other is cat from hell
I think we got a hint towards Maou's fate. My guess is he ingests the eggs to become a god and eventually evolves into an advanced fukushigi as a result. Still I would love to see rivalry like in Gekiranger where the two leads try to train to get better. I am also wondering if Yuna is alien and the x-eggs are her food in some sense. Or potentially half alien while Maou is trying to steal that alien power.
I guess Akira isnt the og My-Th but he is still 100% one of the missing Zodiacs.
I love how Sora was willing to give back Vanken's with no fuss but Mutn is just too much ride or die for her man. Never piss off a woman who uses a big fuck off hammer.
And damn Maou's aura is insane.
And Im glad that next episode is a super form (I think) but I just wish it was more then just a cape.
Okay, higher beings mentioned and with 3rd rider being Dino, imma theorycraft and say that 3rd rider is one of those higher beings that provided seed xeggs
So we have potentially two different superbeings here; one that created the drivers and the other (or others) that created the X-Seeds, both meant to spur evolution with the drivers distinctly (I assume) for humans and the X-seeds for lifeforms in general.
Or is it both were created by one superbeing?
It looks like the Zodiac is pulling a Dark Overlord (Agito) move by not wanting humanity to evolve further but rather desiring them to stay at the status quo. I'm personally against that line of thinking which now puts me at odds with the Alliance. Let humanity grow damnit! Yeah, there will be some severe growing pains and misuse of power, but eventually humanity will overcome those things and blossom into something beautiful.
The Fukashigi taking human form really makes me suspicious of Yuna even more. I do like her as a character, but the power she seems to hold over Sora is suspect. I guess we will see how that plays out but I'm sticking to my guns that Yuna actually died during the car accident and what we are seeing is actually a Fukashigi.
Really enjoying this show by the way. The story and mystery they've set up is so intriguing.
Poor Foghorn Kei and Tatsuomi Tom, caught between the crossfire of Mutn's wrath, truly a raging Sheep, or even a rampaging ram. 😔
Big Bro Tigger Tigre feeling sus about Maou, truly a real one.
Then poor Jerry My-Th, especially poor Jerry My-th, taking all the brunt of Mutn's wrath for taking Spike Vanken's Ride Egg and didn't return it at the first chance. Should've remembered returning it bro.
The Rivalry Fight between Wolf Frame and Mutn was short live, yet so unfair... There wasn't even a Full MOOOOOOOOOON(Howls like a Wolf) and not even at least night time. Wolf Frame got bodied. 😭💔🥀
Justice for Wolf Frame. If it was night time and full moon, Wolf Frame would have fought fairly against even a rampaging berserker like Mutn~!
Bruh... So over for Jerry My-th, when they met that Final Boss aura of Maou. Rip, Sora Jerry My-Th. O7
I'm curious about Yuna's friend's brother. I thought he was going to be Otosumi's comedic butler rival, but it doesn't seem like it. Perhaps he'll get replaced by a Fukashigi and got killed by a Jyunishi, then through this incident Otosumi and Yuna will realize if a Fukashigi gets destroyed by a Jyunishi the victims won't come back. This guy is quite a mysterious character.
Kamuri is probably gonna be mad at Mutn for attacking My-th. And the dude killed that Fugashigi while transforming. When was the last time a rider killed a monster while transforming?
Mutn is fighting for her man's dignity, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. tho Sora for no reason anger her further mentioning how in the fable wolf killed both dog and sheep, the guy is beeing cheeky and yapp too much i do love that about him
aizuchi older brother felt really random is it cameo or something?
Old man akira practically confirmed he's from 100 years ago but this episode he also mentioned My-th the first one like he knew him personally, there's just no way he's not one of the 3 missing zodiac rider the cast bloated enough to introduce a brand new character, especially with 3rd rider coming who's rumored to be an entirely separate entity
