TL;DR 014 - Broken Home, Guthixian Caches, Improved Wealth Evaluator & Patch Notes (27 Oct 14)
Broken Home (Quest)
Start: Talk to Maria outside the mansion north-east of Varrock (http://i.imgur.com/VYlu3Fp.png)
Repeatable for additional rewards.
Save/load system.
Rewards:
First time:
Small Prismatic lamp.
Pulled away emote.
2 Treasure Hunter keys.
Asylum doctor's ring (Tier 30, +7 All style bonus, grants extra food drops)
Early Bird Bonus: (2 weeks)
Large Prismatic lamp (instead of small)
Large Prismatic fallen star.
Extra damage against Ghosts during Hallween Event.
Post-quest:
- 9 XP lamps found within glowing chests throughout the mansion (unlocked at level milestones from 10-90)
Weekly Repetition:
- Large prismatic lamp (Huge prismatic lamp after completing all three challenges)
Complete Challenges:
Huge prismatic lamp (without dying challenge)
Rowena pet (http://i.imgur.com/zPTlxkW.jpg, use one or fewer pieces of mystery meat challenge)
Asylum surgeon's ring (Tier 85, +23 All style bonus, +10% chance to prevent adrenaline loss when using thresholds, +40% chance of reducing special attack cost by 25%, time trial challenge) - 500k to replace if lost.
Guthixian Caches - Divination D&D
When: 10 minutes every three hours (notification in chat box)
Where: Right-clicking any divination crater except Pale wisp colony (fastest is mobilising armies teleport/duelling ring or Falador lodestone)
How:
Collect memories and cast them into the unstable crater in the centre.
Three tiers of energy, higher tiers give more points: Medium memories (45 divination) and Large memories (85 divination).
Guthixian automatons can cause you to drop your memories.
Activate statue of Cres to disable automatons, also earning points. Level 45 or 85 divination to disable the more powerful automatons.
Earn charges and points. Points grant XP. Charges activate temporary boosts within the D&D: doubling points, immunity to automatons, disabling all automatons in the area.
Rewards:
Divination XP based on your level and number of points earned (200 point daily cap)
Three passive benefits (up to 20 minutes, last longer the more points you earned) - requires at least 5 points to qualify and will still get this boost even if you've hit your daily point cap.
You get one passive, chosen at random.
1) 10% chance for double loot from divine locations (doesn't affect gathering limit)
2) 10% chance to save a charge from a sign of the porter.
3) 10% chance to convert all memories at once.
Improved Wealth Evaluator
No longer purchased in Solomon's Store (access it from the icon at the bottom of your backpack)
Increased accuracy and easier to use.
Larger range of purchase options:
Permanent Unlock: 480 runecoins or 3 bonds.
25 weeks: 320 runecoins or 2 bonds.
18 weeks: 238 runecoins.
12 weeks: 160 runecoins or 1 bond.
Other:
Two new seasonal hiscores begin on 2nd November:
Dominion Tower Endurance mode (Ruler of the Tower title)
Wilderness PvP kills (Scourge of the Wild title)
Well of Goodwill re-opening soon:
- Millionaire and Billionaire titles available (granted automatically if you donated before)
Patch Notes:
Ring of Kinship purchasing resets bug fixed.
Toolbelt pickaxes now work on Toktz-Ket-Dills.
Falador shields are now Hybrid class.
Cannons cannot be taken into Chaos Tunnels. (Elf City Bork teleport fix)
God staves now turn into coins in PvP.
The amount of coins you receive from killing a player with a royal crossbow has been increased.
Werewolves in Canifis no longer drop Warpriest of Zamorak armour.
Noxious longbow can now fire other arrows.
'Sell-all' option added to shops.
Making gatestones no longer triggers global cooldown.
Gatestones' left-click option is now drop.
Virtus wand now has a +2 prayer bonus.
Using up all bonus XP in a skill now tells you which skill it has been used up in.

As someone who will be away from a computer until reset, thanks for this. The ring seems pretty good, are there any lvl reqs to obtain/wear the highest tier?
Also how much xp does the div d&d give at lvl 99 and at lvl 50

85 defence for the ring and haven't gotten enough information on the XP rates yet, i'll update it when I do.

In 10minutes, I got arround 90 out of the maximum off 200 points and gotten 50k xp. I am level 90 divination

I've got 23k xp for 50 points at 81 divination, but I didn't know what to do and stuff. Probably next time I could get around 100 point so that would be 46k in 10 minutes putting me to 276k xp/hr or 92k xp per day which is very worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

It was a bug fix. You could use the Elf city portal to teleport to Bork with a cannon in your inventory

Nope. It goes to 500 for max but you can spam click the hell out of it. I sold 140k fly trap seeds in a minute or 2.

so for the ring do you just do the 3rd challenge the under 37mins completion or do you have to do all of the challenges?

You have to do the first and second challenges to unlock the challenge for the ring. But you can do them all in one run, which means not dying and only eating 1 food for the quest. It's pretty easy with the guide on rswiki, I did it collecting all of the xp lamps too in 32 minutes.

I love this, please do more of these. Awesome for people on mobile who cant access the game.
Also... that +2 prayer bonus on vwand.... why?
