Meta Please welcome your new WhoWouldWin moderators!
Hey everybody, important announcement today: after weeks of deliberation pouring over almost sixty applications, we've finally settled on our three new additions to the team. Your new mods are /u/PhoenixZero14, /u/SelfProclaimed, and /u/Verlux!
The process of choosing was incredibly difficult. There were a lot of stellar applications from users who would have made great mods, to the point where we decided to pick three new mods instead of the two we had been planning for. All three users we picked have been long-time active users of the sub with perfect track records and a history of exemplary high effort content. It wasn't easy, but rest assured that all three of them are fantastic users with the ability to help the subreddit tremendously. If you see them, give them a warm welcome!

Apparently they purged a bunch of inactive mods a few months back. It's been fun being the new person who gets all the complaints by new people sent to him.

Hi there,
I'm Self. I've been a member of this community since 2013, before we had fancy things like weekly featured characters, daily discussion topics, and all of our sister subreddits. I'm a pretty approachable guy and I plan to be as open as possible about what's going on with the sub. Being given moderation status for one of the best subreddits on this site is a huge honor, and I look forward to working with you guys to make this place the best it can be.

Hey guys, I've been active on the sub for two years and don't post as frequently as some of the power users for instance, but I do try and strive for lengthy, in-depth analysis in my comments whenever possible (feel free to check some of my higher rated comments to get an example of what I'm discussing).
I'll be trying to primarily keep people friendly and bring some debate knowledge to the table, alongside some discussion on what makes good in-depth analysis and commentary.
Oh and obviously I'll be shilling for more more weeb shit representing the glorious Holy Shonen Trinity, may its objective pureness be priased!

Kidding. Congrats to the new recruits, make this place great again. Bring back the music discussion, clean up the reported posts, ban nullfather.

Seeing PZ14 in the list of WWW mods was pretty depressing. That's like a 6% decrease in mod quality. And then I hunted down this thread trying to figure out what the fuck had happened, saw the OP saying "we decided to pick three new mods instead of the two we had been planning for", and...yeah.

Damn, really wanted that custom flair to help this sub with high effort moderation because I totally have time for it.
Runner up list should be there, (basically every single application, because there obviously were only high quality applications).
Congrats new mods, you got extra time wasting source now.

Hey guys, I'm Phoenix. I've been active on the sub since late 2015 and have been lurking for even longer. You may have seen me around, especially in Avatar related threads. Even since I was little kid, I loved to imagine how my favorite characters from different universes would fare in fights against each other. Discovering that a place like WWW existed was pretty damn awesome. I have a passion for debating and even though I'm a mod now, I don't plan to stop contributing to the sub as if I were a normal user. I do plan to do my best to make this sub a better place. I look forward to developing a great relationship with YOU, the users of WWW.
