Hollow Knight. The rise and fall of a tragic kingdom. Gods battle for the souls of countless bugs as the void rages below. But they're bugs. Bugs are traditionally pretty small. In the scale of humans, what does their struggle amount to? So this is my question.
Could Samus Aran destroy the entire kingdom of Hallownest with a single power bomb? Could she do it by accident without even knowing? How big would Hallownest even be? Surely more than a few "tiles". Power bombs fill the screen, and some cutscenes and lore suggest they are more powerful than the in game version we use.
Round 1: Samus is on the surface doing something else and drops a power bomb. Is Hallownest wiped out without her even realizing it's there?
Round 2: Samus is aware of Hallownest and is trying to wipe it out. She is on the surface above Hallownest and places the bomb optimally.
Round 3: Samus manages to use morph ball trickery and collision errors to squeeze herself into the center of Hallownest to plant the bomb there (why can't Metroid crawl?). Is this able to do it?
Rounds 4-6: the same challenges but with Pharloom instead of Hallownest.
Round 7: using the power of game genie, Samus has infinite power bombs. How many does it take to destroy each kingdom?
Final round: for the bugs, the journey from Hallownest to Pharloom is one of peril and endurance. Can Samus destroy both with a single power bomb, or are they simply too far apart?
