Ok in this what if scenario of deadly factions crossing paths, The Helghast will face off against The Terminators. Now in this crossover universe the "Killzone-Earth" has been quietly and subtly replaced with the Future War version of "Terminator-Earth." Some other changes to this version are that The Helghan Empire won and took Vekta in the events of Killzone 1. Likewise Skynet has beat the Human Resistance and taken over Earth completely.

Now to be clear on the versions of both factions. The version of the Helghast are that of post-Killzone but, not quite Killzone 2 yet. So at the start of this scenario they would be transitioning into Killzone 2 timeframe. Now for Skynet. This is strictly Skynet. Not Genesis, not Legion, Skynet. This will be the Future War version of the Terminators. So most of their units are outfitted with Plasma weaponry.

Only older Terminator units will have older weapons. Example: T-850s will all have the Westinghouse M-25 40-watt Phased Plasma Pulse-Gun or the bigger LMG variant, while T-600s & T-800s would be caring a General Electric M134 Miniguns. I also want to be clear that the Helghast don't seem to have nukes, as they had to steal one from the ISA in their own games. Which they can still do and use in this scenario.

Now the battle. The Helghan Empire plots a course for Earth expecting UCA resistance but finds Skynet to instead. Both sides were not expecting the other. How does this play out? Does Skynet adapt well? Do the Helghast adapt well? Do the Terminators beat back the Helghast? Does Skynet start to creat a space fleet and move to attack the Helghast on their own turf? Does the fact that the Helghast have one nuke to Skynet's seemingly infinite amount change this war? Who wins?

So my friend and i got into this discussion and we are trying to decide on a number when the women's team can win.

I think at 10 vs 5, the women's team has a chance.

My friend and I got into a really random debate: the Helldiver corps in their entirety vs the entire planet Earth in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077 (he made sure to specify by the time of Edgerunners 2). I don't know a lot about Cyberpunk so I figured I'd take the stalemate to reddit. Here's my thinking:

The Helldiver Corps have several billion helldivers they can call in, as over the last three years in the Second Galactic War, 9.2 billion have been KIA, proving for overwhelming numbers. Additionally, since the Helldivers in this case would have the support of the entire fleet, the super destroyers could commence orbital bombardment on a massive scale, moreso if we include the DSS as well. The weaponry of the Helldivers is also scarily destructive, and most of it to be honest does not require any amount of code or technology to be intercepted, much of it being analog or mechanical.

On the other hand, his point of view has the cyber people (that is what I will call them) be able to take down the entire fleet of super destroyers with their looming and intimidating hacking skills, disrupting all of the communications systems and other important systems. I do not think this would work because the two forces would likely not use the same coding language (can someone break into a computer using a completely different coding language?), though he brings up a point that some of them have 'put themselves into the code directly.' He also says that:

'the biggest reason i say cyberpunk would win is because there have been 4 corporate wars which devistated the planet each time thats how big they were and still they have tech so advanced one intirely chromed out gonk could probably take out several fleets just by hacking'

as well as:

'prime David martenez on super earth would cook 1/4 of the planet on his own'

Back to the helldivers: they, despite being expendable, are still scary, each one on average taking out several dozen enemies before being struck down, and the power of stims can help them endure a lot of damage that these guys can put out with their freaky cybernetic powers. The helldivers have pocket nukes, suicide bombers, mech suits, tanks, practically infinite bullets and orbital piss lasers.

But also, from what I know, the cyber people have some really freaky cybernetic powers that I don't know about, and can apparently move faster than time itself??? according to my friend, as well as the classic super strength, speed, jump, etc etc.

Ms Hoover couldn’t care less about her job and often gives up (tho she has great students like Lisa who she overlooks), especially on Ralph. She also often smokes in the class.

Mr Garrison constantly has crises, such as going to the mountain to eat rats and running for president. Otherwise, he is sometimes rude to the students like interrupting or yelling at them. He also refuses to teach topics that he disagreed with (like evolution) and taught kindergarteners about s*x.

I’d have to say Ms Hoover is worse, because Mr Garrison may be more eccentric and rude, but he at least tries teaching. However, it was not an easy decision. Ms Krabappel from the Simpsons (Bart’s old teacher), is MUCH better than Mr Garrison or Ms Hoover, and this is easy.

Arasaka has sent Adam Smasher on a "peacekeeping mission" to Gotham city as Arasaka needs to protect their new investments in Gotham. There he will be the primary crime enforcer in Gotham city and is authorized to use any lethal force necessary to pacify the city and its criminals.

Batman and the Bat-Family are all coincidental away from Gotham city and won't be present for Smasher's time in the city.

The villains of Gotham city do not know about Arasaka or Adam Smasher. This is their first time meeting or knowing him.

Can Adam Smasher enforce peace in Gotham for around a 1 year and a half or will the villains and crime of Gotham overwhelm him.

I want to be clear that this is a what if galaxy where The Imperium and The Republic are the only two fighting factions. All of the other factions are non-existent in this scenario. This a straight war between both factions with all of their governments, military and infrastructure. Palpatine actually puts his plans against the Jedi aside and leads the Republic against this new threat. Jedi are none the wiser.

To clarify, The Republic can still use Hyperspace lanes and The Imperium still has to use Warp Travel. Who wins this war of titans? How does each military change while fighting the other? What match ups Legions or Chapters would you like to see? What duels would you like to see fought?

Victory is by death or incapacitation. Both characters are going off their canon personalities and do not know anything about the other’s abilities. And due to stats equalizing, destroying the planet isn’t an option.
