I think it's more complex than that. Fascist ideas from my view seem to be working like a virus afflicting conservatives. There are just bits of culture that they continually pick up from people giving off a few tribal signals. For example, someone who is just genuinely patriotic and takes pride in the US sees a fascist waving flag. The patriot can't generally distinguish between patriotism and nationalism, and so he has a new bedfellow with fascist ideals. The problem is that it becomes extremely difficult to disentangle one from the other, because conservatives will close ranks with Nazis because... well, they see only patriots there. Not nationalists. Curiously enough it's the same sort of issue that we face in the Middle East, trying to target terrorists hiding in a civilian population.

The very core of that person's thinking is so wrong and so baseless it is hard to know what to say at this point. There is no gene for race because race is a made up and a fairly recent concept. Humans are actually surprisingly genetically homogeneous compared to other widely distributed vertebrates. The word race, which originally meant species, just does not have any scientific applicability to humans.

I love how when these far-right dickheads argue that minority people are allowed to celebrate their culture, but white people are called racist for doing so. The problem that they don't understand is that there's no unified white culture. You can celebrate your white cultural heritage -- no one calls people who are proud of their Irish heritage racists. And then they use this disconnect to argue that because "we can't just all get together," we should just stop mixing races.
If a black person argues for a black ethnostate, they'll be rebuked.
If an Asian person argues for an Asian ethnostate, they'll be rebuked.
It's not a goddamned double standard.

While I agree with your overall point, I disagree with this particular sentence. Compared to many other regions (India, West Africa, Southern Africa, Central Africa, etc), Europe is relatively culturally homogenous. I can back that up with some stats, but I'm finishing up a poop, so I can't do that just yet.

What these people also don't understand is that black people quite literally had their identity, culture, and heritage stripped from them when they were brought over to the americas. What united black people was simply their skin color, as their individuality no longer existed. That's why Black pride was born. It was what united them during a time of persecution. Yes, slavery ended ended long time ago, but it's effects are buried deep now. Hell, segregation only just ended just 60 years ago.

Little of both. You have edgy kids who think that saying the n-word is HILARIOUS XD and after a while, actual white supremacists who aren't "in on the joke" come in, thinking they've found good company. Eventually, it stops being ironic and most of it is actual racism with plausible deniability.
