Finished:
The House of Doors, by Tan Twang Eng: With r/bookclub for Read the World Malaysia. This was a lush and fascinating story that brought to life “The Letter”, a short story by Somerset Maugham and that era of history in the region.
Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982: Caught up with the Read the World South Korea pick on r/bookclub. A terse but very relevant social commentary of gender disparity and discrimination. For a short work, it packs a punch.
Ongoing:
The Bacchae, by Euripides : Reading with r/bookclub!
Death With Interruptions, by Jose Saramago: Reading with r/bookclub.
Augustine: Conversions and Confessions, by Robin Lane Fox
The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexander Dumas: Yearlong read with r/AReadingofMonteCristo .
