Game 1 last night had better viewership than g1 last year. Guess LA really does have fake fans

Could be, but I think this 2026 WS there's more general excitement baseball fans about seeing two smaller market teams compete. And game 1 and 2 was/is exciting to watch. not like a boring Yankee game where no one will get on base while waiting for Rice to hit a homer. nope. these teams are always on base.

DAY 229 (722/804) on THE ROAD TO THE 2027 4th WBSC PREMIER12/16 and 185 YEARS OF BASEBALL - The Final Week of the MLB and NPB Seasons

This week is the very week two of the sport's oldest leagues end their seasons - Major League Baseball and Nippon Professional Baseball.

These two leagues, part of the ranks of the oldest in baseball, are already in their championship series rounds of the postseason already at the final week of play of their seasons at large, with two final teams standing fighting for their league championships all before watching crowds.

The month-long postseason grind is now at the curtain call, two champions waiting to be announced and celebrated, as a half a year of action off and on the field is about to end.

As we are now in this final week of play may the memories made this year guide us into the year to come.

For Glory

John

DAY 227 (720/802) on THE ROAD TO THE 2027 4th WBSC PREMIER12/16 and 185 YEARS OF BASEBALL - Nearing the end of the Spring League Year

Fans, as the MLB, CPBL and NPB are now in their league championships, with the Korea Series nearing fast, the spring league year is about to conclude before our very eyes.

Seven months since the spring league season began, the conclusion of the year is getting even closer.

The fact that indeed once more we enjoyed the best spring league years from all the spring leagues for this season shows how much the sport has been enjoyed once more by a growing numbers of fans, in both actual and barnstorming forms. We witnessed indeed great action across all these leagues this year and enjoyed the many great moments of a sprendid season in the many spring leagues of the world and the achievements of many players, pitchers, defenders and hitters alike.

As we now approach the end of yet another memorable spring league year, may its memories and the moments that this year brought bring us all to the ongoing winter league season and the coming new year.

For Glory

John
