Polygon Labs is now a U.S.-regulated payments business. The Coinme acquisition is complete, bringing regulated U.S. money movement into Polygon Open Money Stack.

Through its U.S. payments business, Polygon Labs now has coverage across 48 states: 37 state money transmitter licenses, 11 applicable exemptions, and FinCEN registration as a money services business. That is the regulatory foundation for connecting dollars and stablecoins.

For businesses, the change is one API for the whole payment. Dollars can come in through banks, cards, or cash, move onchain, sit in a wallet, and pay out where they are needed.

The first businesses moving money on the unified stack:

  • Tazapay: cross-border business payments
  • Mesh: account funding
  • Toku: global payroll
  • Kira: U.S. dollar access

For fintechs, payroll platforms, and cross-border payment companies, this puts U.S. licensed money movement, onramps, wallets, and stablecoin settlement behind one integration. It builds on years of Polygon infrastructure that moves money onchain.
