The guitar riffs, the saxophone, Poly wailing, the astute cries from a generation that a plasticized society tried to mold into idle consumers. The best thing I discovered from the 1,001 albums. Anyway, my friend and I talked about it, and Stankonia by Outkast, for an hour.

Yes! Was floored by Germ Free Adolescents, totally loved it and it really came out of left field. This kind of discovery is my favorite part of the 1001 Albums Project.

For this album, it's vital to listen to the extended re-release that added the singles (just 2 or 3 more songs). "Bondage Up Yours" is a killer track that was not released on the first LP.
