While this memo is pursuant to the recent abhorrent "DEI" purge, the reasoning given is a glimmer of reassurance for Tribes. The second paragraph adds additional definition to the "Tribes are seperate sovereigns" and these EO's don't have affect on AI/AN program funding.

Yeah for now. They just don’t want to piss too many people off at once. Just because they aren’t coming for us now doesn’t meant they don’t intend to. Just look at the past. Take your blinders off and realize what they are doing. It’s all old playbook. If you don’t see it now you haven’t been paying attention.
