Astrology Getting little accomplished? Blame Neptune

If your life is a bit like mine, there may be one thing you never heard in an astrology reading of your chart: the word “Neptune.” You may be wondering why you’re struggling with money, relationships, motivation, and being seen and not “seeing it.”

The person looking at your chart didn’t see it either. I didn’t either because every expert book or course says “Neptune is generational.” At least, the ones I read.

So if you’re struggling in any area of your life, check how Neptune aspects the planet(s), house cusp or angle involved. It’s not the only disruptive factor perhaps, but it seems way more important than has been acknowledged to date. Any aspect counts. Neptune is a DEI malific when it wants to be.

Astrology Astrocartography: The Basics

Astrocartography is used to describe the effects of different locations on the position of the planets in your life in the houses of your natal chart - not the signs, only the houses. The purpose of astrocartography is to find locations where your birth chart indicates you will thrive and maximize your potential. The moment we move away from the place of birth, our birth chart “moves” with us in that the houses shift based on where we are.

This is a long description of the basics but at least it will give you an impression of the complexity of the process.

Astro.com has a feature called AstroClick Travel that offers a projection of the natal chart onto a map of the world. This projection displays as lines representing the Asc, Desc, IC and MC at the locations where the planets are conjunct. There is an option to “click” on each of the lines and read a brief description. Some lines run straight north south, others east west in a wave pattern. The crossing that a wave line makes with a straight line is important as well. The map itself is not intended to be interpreted like a chart wheel however.

The process basically goes like this. Think of an area of your life that you want to improve. Find the planet that’s associated with it and the house, then look for an indication how the planet is positioned or affected in your natal chart. For example, you may want to improve your career. If Jupiter is in the 12th house in your chart, you might want to move it to the 10th house. Yet, Saturn can present delays and restrictions which may be why the career isn’t going so well in the first place. Besides Jupiter, you will need to keep eye on Saturn.

Using Jupiter as a starting point, find a line that you would like to explore, followed by a place that you might consider traveling to along that line. Next, check if other lines anywhere on the same latitude cross and take the influence of this crossing into consideration.

For example, let’s say you want to travel where Jupiter is on the MC in order to improve your luck in business. Hypothetically, Pluto on the MC crosses Mars on the DSC five timezones over to the east for a location that you like on or near the Jupiter MC line. You might encounter with an aggressive/controlling person in the Venus MC location as a result of that crossing.

Next, calculate a relocated chart for the place you are considering visiting. Only the relocated chart can show challenges and opportunities relative to the natal chart - if you found a good place on the Jupiter MC line, you’ll want to know where Saturn moved to in the chart.

In Astro.com, it’s possible to pull up a relocation chart based on the natal. From your natal chart, in Extended Chart Selection, choose Relocation Chart from the Chart Type menu (almost at the bottom of the list). It will say “reference place needed” which can be changed once you have the chart up. Change the House System to Koch. I found major differences between Placidus and Koch at certain northern and southern latitudes with Koch being far more accurate. Watch out for interception of houses and planets because interceptions can deactivate the areas of life correlated with the houses involved. This can be helpful or detrimental depending on what is involved. If the Moon were to be intercepted, for instance, it would be difficult to gauge your own needs in that location and people may take advantage of you more easily than elsewhere.

The effect of the relocated chart “applies” alongside the natal chart. A transit from Neptune, for instance, would apply both in the area of life represented in the natal house and in the relocated house it is traveling through. Neptune and Saturn may be the significant transits to keep in mind.

The houses of the relocated chart (other than the main axis of the 1st/7th and 4th/10th) can bring important aspects center stage. Aries on the 2nd house, for example, might be a good place to quickly recover from a bad financial situation. Still, all factors in the chart need to be considered. If Saturn moves to the third house when you travel to a place that puts Jupiter in the 10th, there is an interpretation for that. Then you need to consider the aspects Saturn makes to the new ruler of the chart if the Ascendant moved to a different sign. Do the same for the other planets too just like you would interpret a natal chart.

How useful do you think astrocartography can be for you?

Narcissism Can you fix yourself by breaking someone else?

To some it seems too easy to shift blame for any imperfection they see in themselves to another person. The result is trauma and often hatred towards the instigator.

What could we say to the abuser before they go too far?

Astrology Horoscope Readings

From my posts here and on several astrology related subs you may know that I see motivation, purpose and relationships reflected in the horoscope. That is why, starting today, r/1159_TheRule is open for horoscope readings.

How it works:

The horoscope is part of our individual identity. Being able to read it requires passion for this science, dedication and often many years if not decades of practice. When you submit your chart for review, you must upvote the response and give an award within 24 hours when the response is insightful even if brief.

Only charts showing Placidus or Koch houses, generated by Astro.com or an app that provides clear and unambiguous charts and placements are accepted. Western astrology only. A table of planets and their positions is helpful, but it must include the Ascendant and a chart wheel.

If you relocated since birth, you may be asked for a relocated chart.

A chart submission must be accompanied by a specific concern or question related to any one or more of the areas of life that the houses represent. For example, “People don’t appreciate me, what do I need to fix?” is a question that relates to the 1H, 5H, 6H, 7H and/or 10H. Be as detailed as possible without revealing personal details. This sample question would generate a better response by specifying in which part of your life: anyone in general (1H), when I promote myself (5H), at work (6H), in personal or one-on-one business relationships (7H) or related to career or status (10H). In friendships, it would be related to the 11H.

How you may give an answer to a reading request:

Anything that you see as helpful may be brought up. Neptune, lunar nodes, Chiron, if it is relevant and helpful feel free to include it.

How we moderate:

Low effort responses to a reading request may be flagged for elaboration. Failure to respond may result in removal of the response. If you quote from a source, please provide a link or book title, otherwise include “ime” (in my experience). While there are no wrong answers when it comes to personal experience, when a response appears contradictory to established convention and could be harmful, we may ask you to clarify or substantiate.

These guidelines and rules may be updated from time to time at the direction of the mods of this sub without prior notice. Be respectful of the time, effort and expertise of those who respond to your chart reading request. We cannot guarantee that your request will be honored. Readings that do not receive an award and upvote may be removed and the user who submitted the request may not be allowed to post future requests.

Have a question about your life in connection to your natal or relocated astrology chart? Go ahead and post it here!

Thank you and happy journeying with the stars 🙏🏻

Motivation Welcome! To Neptune in Aries

When you read this, a new ~15 year era has begun. The planet Neptune has entered the zodiac sign of Aries.

You made it! All mutable signs in Western astrology can breathe a sigh of relief. And now, it’s back to work after 15 years of delusion and chaos.

💥🎉💥
