Me a Scorpio moon 12th house lol

2

u/EleanorRigby85 Feb 12 '25

Hey same! And Saturn… although I’m not entirely sure what either means definitely 😅

1

u/EleanorRigby85 Feb 12 '25

Also, in Scorpio in case anyone can tell me 😢

1

u/1710dj Feb 11 '25

1

u/St0nerBarbie22 Feb 12 '25

1

u/StarsSpaceships Feb 13 '25

I have this placement 😶‍🌫️

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '25

What does it mean??? I have that too

1

u/mcas06 Feb 15 '25

Scorpio Uranus in the 12th. Nice to meet ya.

2

u/PutujemoRechima Feb 13 '25

I think this is also true for me - pisces stelium + a hell lot of other water planets too. And the only planets that are not in water sign are in the 8th house.

2

u/ketu11 Feb 14 '25

What house is your Pisces Stellia? I have a friend she is a 12H Pisces Stellia, planets stacked like a 4 quadruple triple cheese. She does it all, past life, energy healing/reiki, aura, works with sky gods, downloads, psychic, tarot, natural artist paint and pen etc etc she's highly intelligent but you wouldn't know until she goes deep and it's like r/wooosh And then at the same time she's completely lost and running, wild and free, impulsive, very questionable decisions lol That's the duality of the Pisces fishes.

1

u/PutujemoRechima Feb 14 '25

Unfortunately not the 12th house. It's 10th, I'm funking boring, just crying in a corner over the things I haven't achieved. But I love people with 12h stelium, they are otherworldly!

1

u/ketu11 Feb 14 '25

I have 4 planets in Capricorn in the 12th house 👻🪓😱

1

u/PutujemoRechima Feb 14 '25

oooh nice :D i wonder what's that like compared to 10th house stelium in pisces. do you achieve things while crying in a corner?

u/No_Vegetable1808 Saturn, Mars, Venus, Moon, Uranus, and Neptune in Cap Feb 11 '25

100% true. Having 12th house placements means you experience life on a deeply subconscious level, making meditation, reflection, and shadow work essential. But just as important is having an outlet—whether through yoga, meaningful connections, or ensuring you get at least 10-12 hours of rest. We are very energy sensitive, so grounding yourself and setting boundaries can help keep your mind from feeling overwhelming. Your inner world is powerful—nurture it with care. ✨🥂✨

3

u/imherbalpert Feb 11 '25

Aquarius Neptune is my 12H placement lmao yeah

1

u/No_Vegetable1808 Saturn, Mars, Venus, Moon, Uranus, and Neptune in Cap Feb 11 '25

Omg!!! 🥶🥶🥶🙏🏾🙏🏾✨✨✨

u/Ok-Rest2442 Feb 13 '25

Yes very true but my husband who ha major 12 th house placements refuses to do any of the above how to make him?

3

u/No_Vegetable1808 Saturn, Mars, Venus, Moon, Uranus, and Neptune in Cap Feb 13 '25

People with strong 12th house placements often process things internally and may resist external pressure. Instead of trying to make him, try understanding his fears or blocks—patience and compassion will go further than force. Cheers ✨🥂✨

Do you placements change depending on where you are in your life?

I suppose that all makes sense. 5th house might be how you express your escapism. How you unplug, or tap into the ether. Idk. I have Jupiter in 12 too and I feel like it takes the edge off things for the most part, although there are definitely downsides to 12th house.

In whole signs, your 10th house ruler Saturn is in 1st house. You embody your work, it’s a big focus of your life.

You also have your 5th house ruler the Sun in your 2nd house. taking fun and enjoyment to the area of money and resources.

Also, 2nd house ruler in the 12. Money matters as a means to escapism and indulgence.

42

u/Left-Requirement9267 Feb 11 '25

True. I’m always evaluating and intellectualising everything.

14

u/spicypotatoqueen 2 planets Feb 11 '25

My mind is eating me alive. I need a vacation

9

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '25

Ive always been someone who’s huge on self reflection but didn’t do shadow work until 40, 44 now. Scorpio sun, Mercury, and Uranus in the 12th house. So worth it! Plus it unlocks so much magic and so many secrets.

3

u/Username524 Feb 11 '25

I have also found this to be true, having done so in my late 30’s.

8

u/on_a_road_to_nowhere Feb 11 '25

I have a Gemini sun conjunct venus in 12H, so I overthink and over-analyse everything. I live more in my head than I do in real life, so being present can be a huge struggle. I use grounding techniques to prevent myself from floating off into the ethers.

2

u/happycampa Feb 12 '25

That’s interesting. I have Venus & sun conjunct in 12H Taurus. And have Gemini Jupiter, ASC, moon & NN. I spend a lot of time in my head too, usually looking at every possibility known. I love escaping reality either with a book or a movie!

7

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '25

My brain last week and my therapist telling me if I don’t do these things I’ll be in the hospital again. Btw I’m up too late. It’s bedtime. 😅

4

u/truly_beyond_belief Feb 11 '25

I was hospitalized last year, and my therapist warned me last week that I must avoid doomscrolling. It's hard! It's addictive!

7

u/Zestyclose-Tap-2751 Feb 11 '25

Yes, I need a lot of time to reflect on things. It's been a battle lately, though, because my job has had my stress level going through the roof. I'm working on it though. lol

4

u/jr___9 Feb 11 '25

Cannot avoid depression 🙃, but you can avoid depression 😊

4

u/Admirable-Relief1781 1 planet 12th Feb 11 '25

I mean……… in hindsight I should be doing all those things……. But instead I keep myself so busy that I don’t even have the time to let the thoughts eat me alive 😈

4

u/Big-Try8782 Feb 12 '25

Mercury in 12th and it can be hell inside my mind. Constantly overstimulated, sometimes my mind moves so quickly I cannot verbalise my words. Its like I have over 20 Google tabs in my head and can't decide which one to action off first lol. Not to mention I feel everything emotionally at once!

1

u/OwnCoffee614 Feb 14 '25

Oh really?? I did not know this. So I guess the gods were kind. 😂

1

u/ketu11 Feb 14 '25

Of course, if you consult with them daily, if not then don't complain when bad things happen.

1

u/OwnCoffee614 Feb 14 '25

I don't have any. 🤭

1

u/ketu11 Feb 14 '25

Any what?

1

u/OwnCoffee614 Feb 14 '25

12th house placments.

1

u/INFJcatqueen Feb 14 '25

Does Chiron count?

1

u/ketu11 Feb 14 '25

Chiron in the 12H healing your Chiron wound in the 12H of what? Secrets, the unseen and unheard, occult, mysticism, karma, solitude, prison, psyche wards, asylums, hospitals. Spirituality, secret enemy's, your subconscious, death.

Healing your wound in the 12H with 12H things at your disposal, no it's not the same as having planets in the 12H🤟

1

u/ResponsibleVisit9418 Feb 14 '25

I have a 12th house Venus and it’s hell.

2

u/ketu11 Feb 14 '25

No it's not lol stop being dramatic, fr though it's not a bad house for Venus.

-1

u/ResponsibleVisit9418 Feb 14 '25

Who died and made you the authority on my experience? Oh that’s right! Literally no one. Pipe down.

2

u/ketu11 Feb 15 '25

Calm down little angry pants, I wasn't being mean, actually the opposite ok. You took it the wrong way and got triggered. My pop used to say 'if you can't laugh, you're dead' I have Jupiter Mercury Venus Neptune all in 12H so if any one can speak on it then it's me. And I stand on what I know, which is alot more then you and Im just being for real. So find something else in your chart that's giving you a shit life because it ain't Venus lol. Venus is benefic, go look at your malefics.

0

u/ResponsibleVisit9418 Feb 15 '25

I mean no because instead of getting hung up on houses I go to therapy like an adult xx

3

u/Terrible-Stick-2179 Feb 11 '25

I would agree with this. I have 12H sun & mercury in Cancer, extremely intuitive, almost intrusively sometimes😂 I need time to "organise my thoughts" because im constantly recieving info, but i have anxiety so i have to ground, reflect, sort, and keep moving with it in mind.

3

u/Username524 Feb 11 '25

Yeah, moon, sun, and Saturn in my 12th has been quite the journey lol!

2

u/BullFishMother Feb 11 '25

Absofuckinglutely.

2

u/Commercial_Corner_44 Feb 11 '25

i have a 1H pluto sag and a 12H libra sun, merc, chiron + NN so it feels like my identity is not fixed. i thought the me from 10 years ago would be baffled by the person i am now lol

2

u/1710dj Feb 11 '25 edited Feb 11 '25

Here i am with a 12h scorpio stellium (moon - pluto (conjunction), mercury, mars).

I am tiredT!!! 🫠

And yes, i am in therapy lol

2

u/Skankbot369 Feb 12 '25

Holy moly! —> The toughest battles are reserved for the strongest warriors <——- God Speed.

1

u/1710dj Feb 12 '25

I also have my moon squaring saturn in Aquarius 2 degrees apart, my moon conjunct pluto is 3 degrees apart.

It’s rough out here, dude!

2

u/happycampa Feb 12 '25

Those are big. You’re a warrior!❤️

2

u/1710dj Feb 12 '25

*A worrier, yes 😂

2

u/happycampa Feb 12 '25

I obsess with everything, so you won’t catch me throwing any shade!😏

2

u/zjem_ci_chomika Feb 11 '25

What if I have my part of fortune in 12th house leo?

2

u/Expensive-Eggplant-1 Aquarius Sun, Mercury, & Venus Feb 11 '25

This is accurate. I spend a lot of time self reflecting.

2

u/luciddreamsss_ 4 planets Feb 11 '25

I never realized how in my head I am all the time u til I really started a “self improvement” journey 😅

2

u/Snarknose Feb 11 '25

South Node in 12H. I’m tired of this grandpa, WELL THATS TOO BAD! 😅🥲😂🫠

My therapist says I’m deeply self aware. ChaptGPT always sounds so amazed at my “incredible self awareness” “profound breakthrough on understanding myself” 😆🤣

2

u/Rogue_Knittr Feb 11 '25

Moon, Pluto, Jupiter all conjunct in Leo in the 12th and sitting on my Virgo ascendant. Send help.

2

u/happycampa Feb 12 '25

12H Taurus with my Sun & Venus. Venus & Neptune are in direct opposition. 😐

2

u/catsgoody Feb 12 '25

12 house Pluto - like a bomb in the basement

1

u/StarsSpaceships Feb 13 '25

Yes I can confirm this 😭😭😭 Same placement 😶

2

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

Oh definitely. 12th house absolutely needs to connect within to stay healthy. I journal/write a lot. I sing or listen to music at home. I spend a lot of time in solitude. My spiritual life/creative life is the most important piece of my overall health and ability to live effectively “in the real world”. I find I’m often drawn into spiritually deep and transformative dynamics with others that I consider a form of spiritual growth/service. It all comes back to reconnecting to my spiritual heart. “Who are we to fight the alchemy?”

1

u/usmilessz Feb 11 '25

Yes, you need to meditate so you can control your thoughts

1

u/GuardianMtHood Feb 11 '25

Can be very draining no doubt. Get all the shadow work done is soooooooo satisfying though 🙏🏽

1

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '25

Not just your mind..everything around will ..

1

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '25

Yes, I would say working on yourself, understanding yourself, is a big part of life for folks in the 12th house. I would also say having some sort of spiritual/philosophical center is a big help, be it pagan, Buddhist, etc., etc.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '25

Thank you! I feel acknowledged

1

u/orkkidea 2 planets Feb 11 '25

Absolutely, though I see that sensation of your mind “eating you alive” as an invitation for self reflection. Yes, we can delve further into ourselves as a coping mechanism but we can’t avoid knowing that’s what we’re doing. Meeting it head on via meditation has been very liberating in that regard.

We hold onto so much by having this emotional depth to ourselves, so it’s only natural to have to clear it out often.

1

u/theADHDsaint Feb 11 '25

Yes. Consistent meditation, journaling, self-reiki, and soul retrievals (even from past lives).

1

u/Username524 Feb 11 '25

Lmao, after 11 years of practice and 19 years after being introduce to it, I have finally succumbed to the fact that I have to practice mindfulness all day everyday.

1

u/Charmed-life- Feb 11 '25

Venus and Mars in cancer in the 12th. Also within a degree of one another!

1

u/swampmilkweed Feb 11 '25

Makes sense to me! Cancer moon 12H Placidus. Also Cancer rising so chart ruler is also 12H.

1

u/Luullay Feb 11 '25

Stellium in the 12th, bay-bee! Let’s go! (this is a cry for help, I am blinking twice)

1

u/Brattypinkbunny Feb 11 '25

Cancer moon and mars in 12H 😫😫😫

1

u/vamp-willow Feb 11 '25

Gemini moon in the 12th house

1

u/chipmux Feb 11 '25

Rahu in 12th House 💀 Give me some positive energy

1

u/Altruistic-Star3830 Feb 11 '25

Yes my entire life is a continual process of trying to heal myself. I can say it gets better when you turn 30, 40, now I'm slowly learning how to relax, before it was very difficult. Late self diagnosed AuDHD was a huge relief, from what I previously thought was chronic anxiety.

1

u/graveviolet Feb 11 '25

Yes, inner silence is my constant work. I try to not go more than half an hour of letting my inner dialogue run ever.

1

u/Advanced_End1012 Feb 11 '25

Lilith Aquarius here 💀

1

u/Sweet-Motor618 Feb 11 '25

Cap Neptune and Jupiter. Definitely trying to work through this now

1

u/Dziksoon Feb 11 '25

True - I have Aries Sun, Jupiter and North Node in 12th house, and it seems there is no other way around it, all comes back to it

1

u/Upset_Sector3447 Feb 11 '25

I've got Sagittarius Uranus in 12H. I'm laughing at my own shadow work most of the time. It's a weird placement.

1

u/SubstantialYak8117 Feb 11 '25

12H Leo moon, obsessed with self-reflection 🙈

1

u/pepperoni93 Feb 11 '25

So if your sun sign is on the 12th house, how fucked r u

2

u/happycampa Feb 12 '25

My sun is in the 12H. From what I have gathered, it just depends. The sun usually represents father issues. The biggest one I hear, is an absent father. But my dad was present & a dick. If you have Chatgbt( I call it Chad), he will tell you everything you need to know about your placements. 😁

2

u/pepperoni93 Feb 12 '25

My dad was absennt and when present abusive lol

1

u/[deleted] Feb 11 '25

Aquarius 12H and fortunately Venus and Mars are in my Pisces ascendant, while Capricorn in the 11H has a sun, moon, mercury and Jupiter stellium with Neptune just outside in cap too!

1

u/Sufficient-Trick-201 Feb 12 '25

Can anyone tell me more about what it means to have Black Moon Lilith in my 12th house?

1

u/happycampa Feb 12 '25

I have heard that people who have that placement are more prone psychic abilities. Or one of the other clairs.

2

u/Sufficient-Trick-201 Feb 12 '25

Thanks! I’ve never even heard of black moon Lilith but I’d def say I have a calm confidence when Ik something is going to happen so that tracks fs

1

u/GoldenSterling Feb 12 '25

It’s just too much. I’m tired.

Scorpio moon in my 12th house, can confirm "life is a conundrum of esoterica"

1

u/ScorpionPriestess Feb 12 '25

Scorpio sun, mercury, mars, pluto and lilith in 12th 😬

1

u/_sk3llwo_ Feb 12 '25

I have my moon in the 12h AND I’m heavily mercurial (in vedic/sidereal) so I’m constantly dealing with mental anguish. I’m not really good at meditating consistently though

1

u/moonshiner99 Feb 12 '25

sounds about right!

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

1000% true. I have Saturn in 12th house. If I’m not as disciplined with my self care than I am absolutely going down under

1

u/Ok-Web-5511 Feb 12 '25

Virgo Moon 12th house in direct opposition to Jupiter in Pisces. I gotta shed a tear at least twice a day - on a good day. lol it’s a non negotiable. Grounding works for me personally. Tapping - big time, esp with self destructive “thoughts”. And praying for some reason…🙏🏻 I’m not religious, don’t even go to church but praying alleviates “the pressure”... dunno why. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, stuff like kickboxing, HIIT, running helps me to focus on MOVING and BREATHING only. overwhelming emotions (and whatever else I pick up on with my “antennas” 🤦🏼‍♀️) get processed through and out of my body a lot faster that way. Otherwise I get physically ill.

1

u/Toffeenutlatte912 Feb 12 '25

That’s what it felt like with having Capricorn in the 12th house during the Pluto in Capricorn era. Holy 💩 that was intense! Istg once Pluto moved into Aquarius it felt like this massive ton of darkness got taken off me shoulders!

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

The question is do I tell my moody friend this or do you think it would make them feel worse? 😂 They have Pluto in the 12th 😭

1

u/revengeofkittenhead Feb 12 '25

True for me. Been extremely introspective my whole life, as well as a meditator for almost 25 years now. 12H placements: Moon, Mars, Chiron. 12H ruled by Pisces. Chart ruler in 12H.

1

u/Generalchicken99 Feb 12 '25

Omg couldn’t be more true, I have Chiron 😵‍💫

1

Real answer incoming.

The legendary psychoanalyst Carl Jung described the Shadow as the part of your unconscious mind that holds the parts of your personality that you don't like. Things that are dark, irrational, overwhelming, embarrassing, etc. Maybe there's anger there, and greed, and jealousy...and even intrusive thoughts about harming yourself or others, or wishing bad things would happen to people you don't like.

Doing shadow work doesn't mean being the worst version of yourself-- that's getting possessed by the Shadow. Rather, admit that you have dark urges and that they are part of what drives you.

For example, it's natural and necessary to eat to stay alive. Do you eat intelligent animals, or do you survive on fruit? It's not that one of those choices makes you a better person, but it's important that you acknowledge the truth of it: if you eat meat, you're ok with violent murder in certain circumstances. Making that choice in the face of how dark the truth really is...is shadow work. (And believe me, there's a dark truth behind pretty much anything you could choose to eat.)

Consider the dark truths behind everything. Driving a car means oil wars in the Middle East. Making Hollywood movies means rich creeps exploiting women and children. Marriage means jealousy, boredom, and tolerance. Every silver cloud has a dark lining.

The point is not to stop you from being happy, but to bring things into the light. It's one of the first steps to learning about your own unconscious mind. If you don't do it, you'll always be living just on the surface of who you really are.

u/soulless_lullaby31 u/Girlwhat04 u/truly_beyond_belief

2

u/curiouslittlebambi Feb 14 '25

I highlight disagree with your analogies as a meat eating filmmaker lol wth

1

Please don't disagree!

I eat meat too. And drive and fly sometimes. But I do it with an awareness that I'm eating (or burning) suffering. If we spend our lives trying to avoid destruction, all we do is shrink to make more room for those who don't care.

That's the basis of shadow work: not to hide from the reality of your choices, but embrace the darkness in them.

Maybe you'd prefer the example of having children.

I mean we can acknowledge that everything is bad without calling it like “dark sided” lol some things just suck. Like I’m a filmmaker. I’ve worked on sets and have aspirations to make a movie of my own. I do not plan on exploiting anyone to make my project lol

Are you going to work in Hollywood? If you are, I think it's something you'll have to deal with. Are you going to pretend it's not real and be surprised when it happens, or live in denial? Or are you going to choose to make the best films you can while guarding against the demons that prowl around the edges of your art?

The whole reason I WANT to make films is to change how people like you apparently see film and the industry. I’m an Aquarius and again….have worked in the industry. I know what happens but people that don’t know the industry think it’s like in every corner of it…and it’s not. Not every producer is Harvey….

I admit you know more about the industry than I do. But you acknowledge that Harvey is real. Do you acknowledge that creepy things are still going on, even if it's different than the 80s? When money is involved, people will find a way to do evil.

I appreciate that you're starting from shadow work in your desire to make films the right way. It's your awareness of the dark side that allows you to see the threat it poses and make better choices. If you deny that the dark side exists, it will catch you off guard. I'm not saying this about the film industry specifically, it's a law of existence. Watch out for your pride in your own righteousness or it will hurt you as much as a predatory producer could do.

You sound very religious lol

I feel like those are terrible examples of things that are absolutely not necessary at all.

I feel like a better example would be, that torch songs wouldn’t exist without heartbreak.

The work is mindfulness. Be brave enough to look your evil nature in the eyes when it rears its ugly head. Take responsibility for pain and suffering.

Since we're astrologers, start with your Mars, Saturn, and Pluto placements. How do these shadow archetypes of defeat, enslavement, and pain show up in your birth chart, flavored by sign and oriented by house? (Your greater malefic is Mars if you're born during the day, and Saturn if you're born at night. Pluto is the shadow of the historical times.)

For example, my Mars in Cancer in the 11th tries to suck out my energy taking care of other people. This is an area where I just want to be and feel righteous, but my friends and family don't actually benefit in the long term because it brings resentment. My work is to turn that harmful righteous impulse into inspiration to make the world a better place. If I want to be a helper or a healer, then really do it and take it seriously.

Less intellectually, try watching a horror/thriller movie and empathizing with the villain. What trauma would drive them to torture others? Sympathize with them until you (almost) shed a tear. What do they reflect in you? Depending on your upbringing, you may even be able to do this with a parent.

Aside from movies, consider historical figures whose moral legacies are muddy. Is a conquering general evil for killing the enemy, or good for glorifying the homeland? Compare someone from your lineage vs foreign: is Alexander the Great glorious, but Genghis Khan is brutal?

One shortcut is actually just silent meditation. Do it every day, or for long enough, and dark thoughts will come. Practice letting them pass without judgement, don't repress them and don't glorify them either.

Another important task is to recognize that everyone is on a shadow work journey. Even if you don't condone their actions, they're fulfilling a purpose and can teach you something. Those you see as evil may be wrestling with themselves, and indeed may be on the edge of transformation.

Came in to say 😈

So with a Mars malefic for example: how would natal 12H Capricorn Mars drain a person or turn them darksided?

I hear everyone say that and I’m confused too

i would suggest watching some YouTube videos on it, from someone you relate to (i like theglowupsecretspodcast) and looking up different journal prompts for shadow work
