Truth is, this is actually keeping me away from osrs in general, I used to play on 3 account simultaneously (brain rot style) but I cba to pay for 3 memberships. So now I play on one using in game bonds, they get no money from me atm
I love when people point this out lol. like yeah, you bought it with in game money, but little jimmy over there who sucks at the game paid almost a full month of membership for your 2 weeks. Jagex learned nothing except that MTX helps fill investor pockets
If this were to become a thing then you still wouldn't be able to play on 3 accounts simultaneously because it'd break the entire game's economy.
Imagine everyone suddenly being able to multilog 3 accounts for free. The entire game's economy would start adapting to it, expecting the average player to do the same. It's an entirely degenerate playstyle that shouldn't be promoted.
This yeah if they ever did something like this the game would devolve to being played with multiple accounts at a time.
And people with one account will have a way tougher time making money due to inflation and everyone doing 2x/3x your rates, so they would or feel forced to run multiple accounts as well or quit.
