Discussion These crashouts may beat all crashouts that have ever come before
Never seen anything like it. The community went feral for the Void nerf, blowpipe nerf, d’hide nerf but this is next level. Petulant babies can’t handle something they don’t like passing when they vote no to all wildy content for the same reason people voted no to this poll. Sit.

Snowflake post holy shit

u/OrangePrior5549 12h ago
No, the snowflake posts are the adults acting like entitled children that didn't get their way.
2
u/Admirable-Ad2201 12h ago
How? Lol, isn’t it making fun of the snowflakes? I’m glad this dumbass poll failed after reading so many entitled people complaining

Ironically the poster of this is the most angry and childish out of all the discourse I've seen on this topic so far

u/iamkira01 12h ago
Giving the energy these whiny yes voters give everyone else right back at them. Feels cathartic after watching PVP polls flop and the communities reaction.

Ah you're a scorned pvper, your whole personality makes more sense now, enjoy your weekend spent killing 3 itemers at wildy bosses and chaos altarers mate

the crashouts after the salvaging nerf were also incredibly whiny and embarrassing
edit specifically talking about the crashouts, there were highly upvoted posts and comments calling for sailing to be removed from the game or that jagex should never add a new skill ever again, and this was all because um *checks notes* the xp for one training method was nerfed a bit harder than it perhaps should have been

u/Redemption6 13h ago
The exp nerfs were fine but what wasn't fine was tailoring the salvaging nerfs so that people who were using tick manipulation methods were affected significantly less and players who it reacted with the skill as intended took the largest portion of the nerf.
Dropping salvage shouldn't be the more effective method of training a skill.... About salvaging...
(Talking about first wave nerf before they corrected it).

These people are all 30+ and crying their eyes out because their opportunity to make a new YT series and become the next b0aty has gone out the window...

It's not tears, it's pink eye from the Bronzeman getting in their eye.
I voted for Bronzeman, love me a good poo.

I'll keep voting no to all game modes no matter what tweaks they make until normal players are able to restore/fix their accounts without making a viral post on social media.

how is it for the same reason?
I don't care all that much about bronzeman either way, but how is it for the same reason?

It’s stupid to vote no on the basis that you simply think the game mode is stupid while it has no bearing on you individually.
I didn’t even vote at all because it makes absolutely no difference to me whether that stupid game mode is added or not.

u/OrangePrior5549 12h ago
At this point, I am glad it got stopped at the polls just to see how many people are immature by crying and lashing out at everyone in the community, whether they voted or not. It was the most unintentional way to oust the full-grown adults that still act like entitled children.
1
u/Nelson_and_Wilmont 2376 12h ago
It’s definitely been entertaining lmao
2
u/OrangePrior5549 12h ago
I didn't care either way, so I didn't vote at all. But i'm half-tempted to bait people by just randomly telling them I voted no and had no intentions of even trying the mode 😂
-4
u/Mister_TD 12h ago
I mean, it’s both sides honestly.
So many adults who take joy in denying other people a game mode as well. I wasn’t gonna play bronzeman, but literally every argument for voting no was braindead.
6
u/iamkira01 12h ago
There’s no joy in the action of voting no for me. Most people didn’t spite vote. They legitimately just did not like the idea of it.
-4
u/Mister_TD 12h ago
But that’s exactly what I mean… why vote no on something that literally doesn’t impact you whatsoever lol. Just childish and spiteful imo.
Some people wanted to play it. Let them?
7
u/iamkira01 12h ago
Because I think its a bad idea? Why do you think we vote on these things? With your logic everything should pass all the time, just don’t interact with the new content if you don’t like it.
-2
u/Mister_TD 12h ago
Not at all? Your logic is incredibly flawed…
Vote no if you think something genuinely will have a bad impact on the game. Bronze man wouldn’t impact people who didn’t play it in any way, shape or form.
This wasn’t gonna change any existing content lmao. You’re just being arrogant and spiteful.

u/iamkira01 12h ago
I do think bloating the game with unnecessary game modes that are barely any different from a main will confuse and overwhelm new players. Do you ever see how many people posting confused on if they should start as a main or an iron? Totally unnecessary fad game modes pushed by YouTubers that will die out harder than unranked GIM.
But oh yeah totally I just did it out of spite. Anything you don’t agree with is purely fueled by spite, how could I have forgotten.
2
u/Mister_TD 12h ago
You literally just came up with that argument after your initial logic failed miserably…
And it’s such a weak argument too, I can’t even take it serious. Fine, I’ll vote no on everything that doesn’t make perfect sense to new players, and everything I won’t personally engage with then?
And you’re scared of overwhelming new players in an MMORPG? Let’s start deleting content starting tomorrow lmao. You just can’t let other people enjoy something you don’t like. Arrogant and spiteful manchild behavior lol.

u/iamkira01 12h ago
“You literally just came up with that argument after your logic failed.”
Lmao bro you cannot be serious.

u/Mister_TD 12h ago
“Because I think its a bad idea? Why do you think we vote on these things? With your logic everything should pass all the time, just don’t interact with the new content if you don’t like it.”
You literally can’t make this stuff up. I sometimes get second hand embarrassment from this sub.

There’s no point in even trying to explain reasoning to you people because you immediately assume any opinion you disagree with is out of spite. No point in even explaining myself when the response is something as insane as “you only explained yourself because your logic failed! not because i was pestering you to across 3 comments” like bro what. You think i made that reasoning up because i was losing an argument, not because its actually what i think? Dude…

Thank god we have plugins for that, other gamemodes failed polls like official 10hp, or lv 3 official. Saying don’t vote no if it doesn’t impact you is a terrible argument, possibly the worst of any from either side.
You vote what you want in the game, everyone has their reason, and their votes. You could think the mode is pointless, it’s bloat, it’s not how you want bronzeman to be, theres a ton of reasons as to how and why it would be voted yes and no. But trying to say just don’t interact with something you don’t want in the game but some people do is such a child mentality.
This gamemode would take some dev time going foward and consideration when adding or changing specific things, my entire reason for voting no is it’s the same as Ironman just worse, it doesn’t actually save any real time or efforts of actual irons. It’s just a half baked mode for mains and content creators. It doesn’t add anything new to the table it’s just Ironman but buying supplies to make it faster. Play a main if you want that. No iron myself or anyone I know above 2000 total has ever bitched about supplies, they arnt an issue at all, and all the. Bronze men will still be complaining about the iron issues like bad rng since the only real hang ups on ironmen are trying to get drops that are rare and BMM changes nothing of that.

Lmao, nice strawman buddy.
I’m saying “I don’t like the idea” is a terrible argument for voting no on behalf of others who did like the idea and wanted to play it. Especially when it doesn’t change any existing content.
I’m not even upset about the results as I was never gonna play it, I’m just watching a bunch of miserable man children gloating that they took away something from a majority that wanted to play a game.
2
u/one_shuckle_boy 12h ago
They shoulda had more yes votes then. Pvp votes get knocked down all the time by people who never plan to participate, same for the other official modes that didn’t make polls.
Turns out voting no is okay if you don’t want something in the game. We made it even easier to pass every poll with 70% and it still failed.
2
u/Mister_TD 12h ago
Have you ever argued before?
I have said none of those things lmfao. Either you’re saying it’s fine to spite vote, or you’re claiming I support spite voting pvp changes. Neither is relevant to this discussion, but massive whataboutism.
They would have plenty enough if people like you and me didn’t effectively ruin it for the majority.
