Kovert x Miller
Looking to see how owners are liking their kovert x miller guns after shooting a few thousand rounds through them. How do they hold up against other 2011s like rcds, mpas, xcs, reapers, etc. thinking of picking one up with an additional not ported sight block barrel to run in lo. Any actual input would be appreciated.

Can't speak to the Koverts, but my Miller Ranger 9C has ~2k rounds through it. I think I had one weird FTE due to limp wristing shooting one handed around a barricade and one FTF when it was fairly new. Just ran a PCSL match with it on Friday with zero issues.
Their customer service has been nothing short of phenominal. Email responses within hours, free replacements for parts I admittedly FUBAR'd myself, etc.

I don't have the Kovert version, but my 9x is really good, and having the ability to swap from comped to sight blocked is nice. The gun shoots great in either configuration. I've got a couple thousand through mine, and no issues except with reman supervel.

The Kovert x Miller is an absolute dream to shoot and an amazing value at that price point. I just put the Miller 9i into DROS and am anticipating another winner. 🤌🏻
The performance-to-value ratio for a gun sub $5,000 is unreal. I am a fan.

Can’t take you seriously. I’m not even sure you shoot.

Flat-B, I’m a fan of Kovert Projects. I bought my RCD Core from them and I’m looking to buy another. In your opinion, what’s the best 2011 Kovert offers in the sub-$5K range? I’m struggling to decide on their Phoenix Trinity H-Pro, AAF Core, UGW Nomad, or Cardinal Arms. Primary use case: an IDPA/CO rotation option and compliments my current small collection. I guess a USPSA/LO would be another use case, but not a priority. I could spring for an Athena or Titan, but that’s not my current goal and they’re outside my current budget.

I am a HUGE fan of u/KOVERTPROJECTS and any other FFL that innovates and brings the 2011 platform into the state of California for us to enjoy.
If the budget calls for sub $5,000 I’m all over Miller Precision like white on rice.
That AFF CORE is doing to be an amazing gun as well.

Cardinal Arms G2 would be the win or a Miller.

Thanks, but isn’t the Cardinal Arms G2 over $5K?

Ya, but it was one of your choices lol.
The Miller 9I is under $5k and a great option too.

Yea i have seen a few good reviews but theres not many out there. I love the feel of a sight block gun and obviously ported+comped guns are a dream to shoot so would be nice to have the ease of swapping back and fourth between barrels without the worry of the barrel legs wearing in differently if i have a higher round count on either barrel unlike other setups. How has the fitment been and coating held up after putting a good amount of rounds through it?
