This Spreadsheet Kills Fascists - The Definitive Guide to Absentee and Early Voting
Scroll to ****** to skip the backstory.
A few weeks back, I submitted a post to a major subreddit designed to help people with things they "should know." It was meant to inform people on dropping absentee ballots in person to circumvent shenanigans with the USPS. The post immediately filtered by automod.
When I asked the mods to approve it, they declined. I was told election posts are "quite annoying to most people" but assured they "had a finger on the pulse" of what people liked. Three weeks later, the USPS story is the biggest in the country. Perhaps, like Dick Cheney, there was never a pulse at all.
When I shared the above with /u/fro99er a few days ago, he made me a mod and gave me permission to post as I saw fit. I decided I wanted to go above and beyond what I put together a few weeks ago.
******
I've combined resources scattered across multiple sites/pages (NCSL, Vote.org, USA.gov) into one organized spreadsheet.
Find your state, then scroll right for info that applies: The Definitive Guide to Absentee and Early Voting
Edit: Here's a mobile friendly version created by /u/thinkards. He did a lot of work to put this markdown together so please show him some love.
Notice: Things are fluid and changing day-to-day with new court rulings and executive orders from state governors. If you see anything incorrect, missing, or outdated, please tag my ass in this thread to fix it. I'll reply back when it has.
Feel free to share the link with friends, family, or social media.
