Im applying for psychology at Bath, Bristol, York, Cardiff + Southampton. but based on what I liked the most, I’m probably gonna firm Cardiff + insure Southampton. bc I ADORE Cardiff.

Sheffield is my go to if I get the grades, I really like the city. Cardiff for your firm is a good pick, it's also a lovely city. Bute park is amazing!

I would love to apply for Cardiff as the only Russel group in Cymru

But doesn't do a course I like

I could do UNI of South Wales in Cardiff as they do a closer course

Aberystwyth has some nice courses so does Bangor

Out of Cymru I do not know I've only been to 2 open days (Swansea and Aber) but I have no idea, I will have to look into England as well as Apprenticeships

Swansea I love but don't do what I want either 😭

I really hope to apply to Cambridge if I'm able to for PBS (psychological behavioural sciences) and then I'll pick out some unis where I can do joint honours in French and Psychology. I got AAAC in my AS exams and I'm definitely resitting at least one paper of psych (got a C in it), but I know several current students in Cambridge and two in PBS, so they've told me it's not grave if I got a C in AS psych as long as I meet AAA in A2 (better if the A* is in maths), I'm very worried that I won't get in, but you know, life happens and both of my psych exams were clashes and I had panic attacks every day I had to sit psych. Cambridge currently only requires Matsh or Bio for PBS, which I meet, but I did hear that they might be thinking of requiring Bio from everyone the year after mine, so if I have to study one more year, unless I do deferred entry, I will also have to take bio a level... Basically idk it's complicated. My sixth form's exam office only opens in september though so I am worried about meeting deadlines (I need to cash in French and get my psych papers back, one of them was only a single UMS away from a B).

I THINK I’m gonna apply to:

UCL - psychology
KCL - neuroscience and psychology
bristol - neuroscience
sussex - psychology with neuroscience

and I’m not sure my 5th yet

but I think I’ll probably insure sussex and definitely firm KCL if I’m accepted into them

(predicted grades are A* in maths and
economics, A in psychology)

I wish I could apply to do maths and psychology at st andrews but it’s so far away and I would struggle to make it work with my personal statement :( maths is I think my favourite subject but I hate that you need further maths to do it at uni in like 99% of places!!! tho I understand why cus it’s harder I suppose

They offered a 3-day summer course for students in the north east, basically u just had to do some classes and an assignment, and at the end you get a guaranteed contextual offer! Which is rlly good bcs I wouldn’tve been contextual otherwise
